The Navy’s “dancing babies” controversy struck a nerve with parents all over the world. One loyal Sandrarose.com reader wrote in to say the two Naval officers who uploaded a video of black babies dancing to rap music are not nurses.
The two women are corpsmen in the Navy. They are still assigned at the Jacksonville Naval hospital but they are no longer providing direct patient care.
The fact that 2 overtly racist women are still assigned anywhere inside a hospital is a sad reflection of the times.
A black corpsman who raised a middle finger to a white baby and called that innocent child a “mini Satan” in a social media post would likely be dishonorably discharged from the Navy.

The action was HORRIBLE, Please make sure everyone knows they are NOT nurses.
Capt. Brenda Malone, spokeswoman for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, which oversees several hospitals around the country, said the employees are corpsmen or medical officers for the Navy, not nurses. Malone said they are still assigned at the Jacksonville, Fla., hospital but are no longer providing direct patient care.
