For the 2nd year in a row, Kim Kardashian attended the Met Gala solo. After teasing social media with rumors all week, her husband Kanye West confirmed to Us Weekly that he decided not to escort Kim to the gala.

The 37-year-old mother-of-3 reportedly flew to Wyoming to beg Kanye to accompany her to the Met Gala, but he refused. Kim looked far from Heavenly in a skin tight gold Versace gown. In keeping with the evening’s theme, she had a bejeweled cross sewn onto her gown.

Solange Knowles opted for a black Heavenly Angel look in a custom PVC vinyl getup designed by Van Herpen. Solange wore a gold halo over a du-rag on her head. She asked her Twitter followers for inspiration to choose her outfit for the evening. Solange’s sister, Beyonce, skipped the Met Gala this year.
