Cardi B‘s first full-term pregnancy has her feeling some kind of way. The first-time mom is expecting a baby girl with promiscuous rapper Offset, who has a tribe of kids and baby mamas on his payroll.
In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the 25-year-old Bronx native says she’s tired of fans mocking her for being 4th in line for a child support check from Offset.
“People want to make fun of me, saying I’m the fourth baby mom, [but] I know I’m not having a baby with a s–tty ass man,” said the “Bodak Yellow” rapper.
Offset already cuts child support checks for three of his children from previous relationships: sons, Jordan and Kody, and a daughter, Kalea.
Another woman was rumored to be pregnant with Offset’s baby, but the Internet exposed her as a fraud.
“We really love each other,” said Offset. “She’s real. I wanted real. I also wanted successful.”
Unlike other baby mamas, Cardi says she plans to take her daughter on the road every time she goes out on tour.
Cardi understands the importance of being there for her child, particularly in the first 3 years, when a baby’s childhood development can go haywire quickly.
“What I envision is my tour bus has my own personal room, and I just want to be with my baby,” she told Rolling Stone. “Only time I don’t have my baby with me is when I’m getting my hair done, makeup done, performing. I don’t want to miss one second. I don’t want to miss no smiles, I don’t want to miss no new movement, I don’t want the baby to confuse me and the babysitter.”
