Meek Mill’s much anticipated album, Champions, dropped after midnight on Friday — and the project is already causing problems on social media.
Rapper Rick Ross, who is featured on “What’s Free?”, dropped a homophobic slur toward incarcerated rapper Tekashi69 on the track.
Tekashi, 22, was arrested earlier this month on federal racketeering and firearms charges. His bond was denied and he will sit in jail until his trial scheduled for September 2019.
A handful of rappers took the opportunity to diss Tekashi on social media. But Ross took the animosity toward the “DUMMY BOY” rapper a step further by dropping a homophobic slur in his lyrics.

Ross’s lyrics were interpreted as Tekashi will be sexually assaulted by other inmates, due to his signature rainbow colored hair.
Tekashi was transferred from a Brooklyn jail to a federal holding facility for inmates who agree to cooperate with authorities by snitching on their accomplices.
