Katt Williams was right: Tiffany Haddish is not a funny standup comedian. The 39-year-old comedic actress rose to fame overnight in the comedy film Girls’ Trip. But she was criticized for not proving herself as a standup comedienne.
Haddish was booked to perform at the James L. Knight Center in Miami on New Year’s Eve when she flopped in front of a sold out audience.
According to witnesses, Haddish forgot her lines and appeared to be intoxicated. After telling fans she couldn’t remember her jokes, Haddish abruptly ended her show and joined audience members for a drink.
Video from the show went viral online. Haddish later apologized for her behavior, saying she stayed up late the night before and she may have had too much to drink.
Katt Williams dragged Haddish during an appearance on V-103’s Frank and Wanda In The Morning show on Friday, Sept. 14 in Atlanta.
Williams was not impressed with Haddish’s role in the hit comedy Girls Trip. He told radio host Wanda Smith she could have played the same role better.
When Wanda defended Haddish as “real,” Williams responded with insults about Wanda’s weight. The video of the tense interview went viral on social media.
