Last week, Beyonce’s fans were in a frenzy when a portrait of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s rarely seen twins, Rumi and Sir, surfaced on a fan page dedicated to the twins on social media. Sandrarose.com readers guessed that Beyonce leaked the portrait herself to promote her new Adidas deal to distribute her Ivy Park line.
The twins are featured prominently in a new Netflix promo trailer for Beyonce’s Homecoming documentary.
Per Netflix:
“Homecoming presents an intimate look at Beyonce’s historic 2018 Coachella performance that paid homage to America’s historically black colleges and universities. Interspersed with candid footage and interviews detailing the preparation and powerful intent behind her vision, Homecoming takes the emotional road from creative concept to cultural movement.”
The documentary – like other Beyonce documentaries – gives a rare glimpse into the nursery singer’s ultra private life with rapper husband Jay-Z, their oldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter, 7, and their 1-year-old twins.
Homecoming will premiere on Netflix on April 19.
In unrelated news, Reebok called out Beyonce for not correcting a story that she walked out of a meeting with them.
Last week, journalist Nick DePaula told ESPN’s The Jump, that he “heard” a “story” regarding Beyonce’s decision to leave a meeting with Reebok due to a lack of diversity.
When Reebok presented potential products to Beyonce, she reportedly looked around the room and asked, “Is this the team that would be working on my product? Nobody in this room reflects my background, not my skin color, and where I’m from and what I want to do.”
If the story was untrue, Beyonce did not correct it via a press release. You can imagine Reebok reached out to Beyonce multiple times to dismiss the story, but she didn’t. Which caused damage to Reebok’s public image.
Reebok lashed out at her in a statement to Metro.
A Reebok rep said:
“The report that Beyonce walked out of a meeting with Reebok due to a lack of diversity is categorically false. Our discussions with Beyonce and her team continued for several months after our initial meeting. We are disappointed that false information is being reported as fact.”
