More than 1,000 people committed their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior at Kanye West’s latest Sunday Service. Calling it “a new wave revival”, a Louisiana pastor said 1,000 Christians raised their hands and committed their lives to Christ at Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Friday night.

“In a crowd of 6,000 people from all walks of life, all ages, and all races, I witnessed over 1,000 people respond to The Gospel by raising their hands to accept Jesus as their Lord & Savior!” said Pastor Curvine Brewington, of Crossroads Church in Lafayette, Louisiana.

But the evening didn’t end without some controversy. There were complaints that organizers sold “brunch” for $55 a plate. At least one woman demanding her money back for unsavory-looking food, according to Dailymail.com.

Kimberly Kinchen posted a Facebook image of her plate that she says she paid $55 for. The meal consisted of 2 pancakes, what appears to be a sausage patty and 2 slices of bacon. Kitchen was not satisfied after taking 2 bites of the pancakes.

Kitchen contacted a local news station to complain. “Can y’all cover a story on this because I want my coins back. This is the wonderful & COLD brunch BUFFET we are being served,” she said, adding, “the server looked at me crazy when I asked for another pancake.”

More than 1,000 people attended the ‘Brunchella’ church service in Louisiana on Friday to hear the anointed one, Kanye, speak and perform selections from his No. 1 album, Jesus Is King.

Kanye brought three of his four children – North West, 6, Saint West, 3, and Chicago West, 22 months – to witness the revival.

Kanye, who is on the autism spectrum, understands better than most that young people need Jesus more than ever.

Pastor Brewington posted a photo that showed hundreds of worshipers raising their hands during an alter call.

“If you’ve ever doubted the legitimacy or spiritual impact of this Sunday service project, simply look at this incredible shot taken by @the.smitan during the altar call. YES, I said ALTAR CALL,” Brewington wrote.

“Tonight, worship was lifted, the name of Christ was exalted, the Word of God was preached, a multitude prayed together, the Gospel was clearly proclaimed, and an opportunity to respond was given,” he added.
