Police are hunting a group of seven teenagers who attacked an Orthodox Jewish man as he walked down a street in Brooklyn, NY.
The attack happened on Dec. 24, as the man walked alone down Lincoln Place near Albany Avenue.
Police released surveillance video footage of the males wearing black hoodies. As they walked past the man, one of the teens threw a chair at his head, knocking him to the sidewalk.
The attack happened just days after Grafton Thomas, who is Black, stabbed five Jewish people in the basement of a rabbi’s home in Monsley, New York. The victims were celebrating the seventh night of Hannukkah.
The latest attack is the 14th incidence of anti-Semitic crimes perpetrated mainly by Black people in New York City’s boroughs.
