Chrissy Teigen underwent surgery to replace her old breast implants. The 34-year-old unveiled her new boobs in an Instagram Story on Thursday.
“I feel good, so don’t worry about me. And here’s my new boob. Yay!” She said, pulling her top down and cupping a breast to give fans different angles of the post-op results.
The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model initially announced she was going under the knife to remove her implants that were 20+ years old. She didn’t say she was having the implants replaced with new ones.
“So I posted myself getting a covid test on the Twitter, as I’m getting surgery soon,” Teigen wrote. “A lot of people are understandably curious (and nosey!) so I’ll just say it here: I’m getting my boobs out! They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it.
“I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat.”
Saline implants tend to rupture and leak after 10 years. Therefore the manufacturer’s warranty only covers saline implants up to 10 years.
Silicone gel implants won’t leak or deflate. They may last a lifetime if taken care of properly.
