A former background dancer for Ye, formerly Kanye West, is singing his praises after he reportedly saved her from a potntial gang rape.
In a Tiktok video, the Aussie dancer, named Maria, recalled Ye saving her from his aggressive crew of hard legs following a concert.
“Of all the crazy headlines that go up about Mr. Kanye West, I will always have a soft spot for him,” Maria said. “I genuinely think he’s a good dude and that’s because of a personal experience I had with him.”
She went on to explain that she was hired as a background dancer for Ye “many, many years ago” when he visited Australia on tour.
“He came to town and he hired like, twenty Australian girls to be his ballerinas.”
Maria said the dancers went back to Ye’s rented penthouse with his crew. They were drinking and partying out on the veranda when things took a scary turn.
“[Ye] was inside on his laptop doing something and a bunch of us were out on the veranda, dancing and drinking and all that sort of stuff. We were all sitting around and a bunch of the guys that were like, [Ye}’s little posse, were like, standing around and they were like dancing and twerking…
“Of all the girls, I think I was probably the thickest, right, so, I don’t know, I’m generalizing here, but I think that the Americans like think girls…”
Maria said the thugs started demonstrating the way they wanted her to twerk on them. When she failed to comply with their orders they became aggressive.
“One of [Ye]’s dancers, she was, like, grinding on one of the guys. And I was like, oh, I don’t want to do that, and… there was a lot of pressure. I could feel the walls closing in on me. I felt really, really uncomfortable and I kept saying no.”
Maria said she felt unsafe and intimidated.
“And then, out of nowhere, [Ye] literally, like, burst through them, and he was like, “Bro, she said no… She said no, so stop asking her to do it!”
Maria said Ye stayed with her and reassure her that she didn’t have to do anything she didn’t want to do.”
