Rasheeda once was a member of that hip-hop trio Da Kaperz. I know some of yaw would remember there music, just YouTube it.
Rasheeda has been out for awhile as a solo artist, after she left Da Kaperz.
“Georgia Peach” was the album, it came out around 2006, YouTube it everyone or go to Amazon and order it, you can find old copies of her cd’s real cheap, I mean like $4.00 cheap, it is worth the money.
Anyway, don’t quote me on this, but In Aaliyah’s ” Come Back In One Piece” Video Ft DMX. Remember the part where Aaliyah was walking with her girls, and they got in those other girl’s faces. One of the girls’ that was Aaliyah’s friend in the video was Rasheeda supposedly.

I like the song a lot and the group but why is Rasheeda all of a sudden rapping exactly like Nikki Minaj. You used to sound like Gucci Mane with all the “yeahhh’s” now it’s Nicki Minaj. I wish she would just find her own identity and then she would be fine.

@ Nik, no worries. I was actually surprised she was selling that many records. I thought only people in the ATL were checking for her but I thought maybe she has a fan base in the South overall. Just like I only knew Rocko to be Monica’s fiance but my friend from the south knew one of his songs word for word. I guess I’m in a bubble living in NYC.

@ ameera im from jersey and I have NEVER heard of her until I started watching tiny and toya reality show…lol but I like them rasheeda, toya and especially kandi, kandi is very humble and has no super star ego that says a lot about her !! I dont know if I like her (rasheeda) music yet but I will have to listen to it a little more and give it a chance!

I have to give props to my girl Kandi… she is super duper humble and deserves what she got today…. simply because she worked for it! Candi Redd is one of the best female rappers I have heard in the past 5 years. I don’t think the group is official, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea….Just have to come up with a name that is NOT the name of one of the members..
