A private preschool in Washington D.C. sent emails to parents announcing a pregnant male teacher.
The private preschool offers educational programs for children ages 2-5.
The email, titled “Pregnancy Announcement,” begins: “We wanted to take an opportunity to share some exciting news with you (though you may have already noted Mr. [Redacted]’s growing belly.) Tristan is expecting a kiddo in mid-January!”
The email went on to educate parents on explaining LGBT+ talking points to their minor children.
“For kids who may have associations with pregnancy and a certain gender, (‘only girls/moms can have babies’), Tristan uses the language of, ‘some boys have bodies that can have babies, and I have the kind of body that can have a baby, isn’t that cool?!'”
Parents are urged to follow the teacher’s lead by mirroring Tristan’s language at home.
Tristan is listed on the school’s faculty page as a speech-language pathologist.
The school declined to respond to the Washington Examiner’s request for a comment.
