Attorney General Merrick Garland announced he is appointing a Special Counsel to investigate highly classified documents found in President Biden’s Delaware garage and former office.
The bombshell news immediately drew comparisons to classified documents found at former President Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida.
Federal agents found the documents during a pre-dawn raid on Trump’s estate in August 2022. So far, there has been no raid on Biden’s home.
The first batch of classified documents were discovered by Biden’s attorneys while they were cleaning out his former office in Washington, D.C.
The second batch of sensitive documents were found next to his classic Corvette in the garage of his Delaware home.
Biden refused to answer when a reporter inquired about the first batch of documents earlier this week.
On Wednesday, he told reporters at the White House that he was “cooperating fully and completely” with an investigation into how the classified documents were improperly stored.
“By the way, my Corvette’s in a locked garage, okay?” Biden shot back at reporters. “It’s not like it’s sitting out in the street.”
