Rapper Tyga and singer Avril Lavigne are officially off the market. The couple confirmed their relationship by sharing a kiss at a Paris Fashion Week party in Paris, France on Monday, March 6.
The 38-year-old “Complicated” singer and the “Rack City” rapper, 33, were rumored to be dating, but skeptics doubted the rumors.
So the pair proved their love by sharing public displays of affection at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer party.
Tyga is best known for dating socialite Kylie Jenner when she was an underage teenager. He has a few hit rap songs including “Rack City”, “Taste” and “Ayo” featuring Chris Brown.
Avril and musician Mod Sun were engaged in Paris in March 2022. She apparently forgot to tell him they broke up.
Avril and Tyga’s relationship came as news to Mod Sun.
“They were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour, so if anything has changed, that’s news to him,” a spokesperson for Mod Sun told Page Six last month.
The rocker took to Instagram to reveal his “entire life completely changed” over the course of “1 week.”
One fan wrote on Instagram: “Damn Mod. I’m a long time fan of Avril’s, but what she’s doing… I’m so disappointed. I thought she was better than that. Tyga?!”
