Jonathan Majors was released from jail on Saturday following his arrest on domestic violence charges in NYC.
A woman accused him of assaulting her after she confronted him about texting another woman in a taxi ride home on Friday night. He was arrested Saturday morning by NYPD officers.
The Creed III actor is charged with two counts of assault in the third degree, aggravated harassment, and attempted assault, DailyMail.com reports.
His PR team is working overtime to contain the damage.
Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry insisted he is an innocent victim. She said his accuser recanted her allegations. But domestic violence victims routinely recant their statements.
Jonathan Majors was virtually unknown in the Rose Garden until a loyal reader submitted a request for a Morning Wood post. The comments in the post quickly went left.

The 33-year-old actor doesn’t have a social media presence, and details of his personal life are locked up tighter than a drum. The only information we know about him is released slowly by his publicists.
In interviews, Majors downplayed his masculinity and portrayed himself as a brawny teddy bear.
Many had questions: Is he manufactured by the Hollywood machine? What secrets are his pursed lips concealing?
It wasn’t long before Majors’ carefully constructed image began to unravel in real time.
Even before his arrest in NYC on Saturday, a filmmaker named A.B. Allen tweeted about “a particular actor, relatively new on the scene, who Twitter has violently fallen head over heels for. Who, in actuality, is a vicious, cruel, abusive human being, both professionally and in his personal life…”
Following Majors’ arrest, Allen confirmed his previous tweet was about the buff actor. “Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding,” he tweeted.
Allen defended his decision not to expose Majors sooner.
“If it had happened to *me* or I had seen it directly I would have. But the people he has abused/mistreated chose to stay silent, perhaps for their own safety. It is not my role to out what he did and thereby out *them* without their consent,” he said.
Broadway director Tim Nicolai also corroborated the rumors that Majors is an alleged serial abuser.
In a since-deleted Twitter thread, Nicolai wrote, “folks at Yale and the broader NYC community have known about [Majors] for years. He’s a sociopath and abuser and that is how virtually everyone speaks about him.”
y’all can say the woman recanted her statement but the facts are that multiple people have come forward confirming that jonathan majors is violent and abusive, even sociopathic.

I keep seeing posts that Jonathan Majors is a serial abuser and this is well known in Yale/NYC art circles. I find that incredibly hard to believe if only because how the hell did Disney not dig it up? They didn't talk to anybody from his past before casting him?
