Rapper Meek Mill made a thinly veiled threat towards business people who he claims are robbing him. The 36-year-old Philadelphia native took to social media to air his grievances.
The rapper, who routinely rubs elbows with billionaires, complained that business people are robbing him blind and he feels helpless. He can’t retaliate because they are some of the most powerful people in Hollywood.
He wrote:
“Real killers and robber[s] know they would die if they touched me … but I’m letting business people take what’s mines [I don’t know] mannnn … I don’t really know how to handle this one … I’m off the net!”
In a now-deleted follow-up post, Meek admitted he comes off as “mentally slow” to others. He suggested his “biggest challenge” is to remain humble and not reveal his criminal side.
“Sometimes I wanna just show them how I make people really pay for trying me,” he wrote.
Fans assume that Meek is referring to the business people he routinely hangs out with, such as billionaire Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots.
Not everyone feels empathy for Meek. One person on a Manosphere message board wrote:
“Meek is my guy but starting your post with ‘real killers and robbers know they would die if they would touch me’ then wondering why the billionaires don’t take him seriously just shows an utter lack of self awareness. Meek has to decide if he wants to be a street n1gga or a business man.”
