Radio host Charlamagne, co-host of “The Breakfast Club”, slammed President Biden for botching rap icon LL Cool J’s name and calling him a “boy.”
Charlamagne awarded Biden his “Donkey of the Day” and said the president is “not authentic”.
The gaffe happened during Biden’s speech at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation dinner in Washington, DC on Saturday.
Biden, 80, referred to the 55-year-old rapper as “LL Jay Cool J”. Biden then caused further outrage by referring to the actor as a “boy” before quickly correcting himself.
“By the way that boy’s got – that man’s got biceps bigger than my thighs,” Biden said, as the audience laughed.

Charlamagne believes Biden is too comfortable using racially divisive language.
“He corrected himself because he understands that ‘boy’ is a white racist word,” said Charlamagne.
“It’s always been historically like that,” he continued. “Context matters; white people will routinely describe Black men as ‘boys’ to suggest they weren’t on equal footing.”
Charlamagne previously awarded Biden “Donkey of the Day” when he said the radio host wasn’t Black if he didn’t vote for him.
LL Cool J has been a frequent guest at the White House during Biden’s term. The rapper helped light the Christmas Tree at the White House last December.
