The Internet is buzzing over an Instagram photo that shows rapper NBA YoungBoy apparently overdosed on the floor of his Utah house.
The Feb 1 photo shows NBA YoungBoy lying on the floor next to a bottle of pills and a styrofoam cup.
Rappers sometimes drink lean or prescription cough syrup out of styrofoam cups.
“[And] that’s why I don’t pick up my phone when it ring,” the photo caption reads.
The quote references a Lil Peep song titled “Star Shopping.” Lil Peep (pictured) died from a drug overdose on November 15, 2017 at age 21.
YoungBoy’s fans say the photo is a cry for help from the rapper who has spent over 800 days on house arrest in Utah.

The rapper expressed his frustration over his deteriorating mental health in an interview with Bootleg Kev last month.
The interview was conducted after a judge relaxed his house arrest conditions, allowing him more visitors for his mental health.
“I real-life hate this sh*t,” he said. “This sh*t take a toll on me, my wife. I’m not that strong. I cry a lot, literally. I’m at a point I know it’s OK [to cry].”
NBA YoungBoy is on house arrest while awaiting trial on a gun charge. The trial is scheduled to begin in July.
He faces up to 10 years in prison if found guilty. The charges stem from a 2020 arrest in his hometown of Baton Rouge.
