Last month, 18-year-old rapper Lil Jojo, real name Joseph Coleman, was shot and killed as he rode his bicycle on the South side of Chicago.

The next day, another little known Chicago rapper named “Chief Keef” took to his Twitter page to mock the slain rapper’s passing.

“It’s sad cus Jojo wanted to be just like us #LMAO” he wrote in a tweet.

Police say Lil Jojo (pictured left) was linked to the Gangster Disciples street gang, which put him in the crosshairs of Chief Keef and his gang.

Lil Jojo’s death was believed to be the culmination of a running dispute between Coleman, Chief Keef and a gang banger/rapper named Lil Reese (pictured above).

Fast forward to Thursday, when a cell phone video showing a woman being savagely beaten by a rapper went viral online.

The rapper, it turns out, is the same Lil Reese who was under investigation for gunning down Lil Jojo.

In the video, Lil Reese and his GBE associates barged their way into a house party. “Who the f*ck let them in here in the first place?” the woman guarding the door asks. Words are exchanged and Reese threatens to shoot her. “They didn’t stop making guns when they made yours!” she responds.

An altercation ensued and Lil Reese hit the woman with a ferocity that was astonishing in its brutality.

The year old video surfaced on World Star Hip Hop yesterday, and social networking users who are normally immune to such violence against females responded with outrage.

Lil Reese was unmoved by the public indignation. Instead, like a typical sociopath, he directed his anger at the person who sent the video to Worldstar.

“The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum sh-t from years ago damnn we winnin it’s 2 late,” he wrote Thursday.

Ironically, Lil Reese is signed to Def Jam — the same record label that Rihanna is signed to, and the same record label that launched the career of rapper LL Cool J, who released an album titled Mama Said Knock You Out.
