Cam Newton rebuked sports journalist Jason Whitlock for making “inappropriate” and sexist comments about Whitlock’s former colleague Joy Taylor.
Whitlock made the comments in response to a lawsuit filed by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji.
Faraji accused Taylor of having romantic relationships with male colleagues at Fox Sports to further her career at the network.
Whitlock was raked over the coals for commenting on Taylor’s “big rack,” a reference to her bra size. Whitlock worked for Fox Sports when Taylor started working at the network in 2016.
In a podcast, Whitlock suggested that Taylor’s assets were distracting, and he kept his distance from her because, “I know what I’m capable of. That big rack of hers – she showed off constantly, and that peanut butter skin with that big rack…”
In his podcast this week, Cam Newton suggested that Whitlock should stay in his lane because he can’t pull a hot woman like Joy Taylor.
“You’re not that guy, pal, you’re not. That big rack of hers? That’s inappropriate. That butter skin? That’s inappropriate. Like, bro, you’re not that guy,” Newton said. “Stay in your lane.”
Newton continued, “You’re having an out-of-body experience and it’s time for me to put you back in your body to let you know, bro, you’re not that guy, pal.”
Then Newton suggested Whitlock might go both ways: “Who you f***ing? Who you sleeping with? Bring her to the forefront — him to the forefront.”
Whitlock responded to Newton in a new podcast, referring to the former NFL quarterback as “Captain Save a Joy.”
