The Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is still catching heat after taking his mom, Regina Jackson, on an all-day shopping spree.

Jayden went viral when he took his mom to Neiman Marcus and let her buy out the entire store. The 2024 NFL offensive Rookie of the Year said, “So today I was blessed to treat my mom to a day at Neiman’s. You know, we had a great day shopping.” He also took his mom to lunch.

“Seeing her putting on makeup, trying on perfume. To be able to go out there and bless her… You know, for 23 years of my life she been blessing me, so.”

Now Jayden is going viral for a different reason.

During training camp on Monday, Jayden granted a fan’s request to sign her baby boy.

“That kid is going to be the next future franchise QB for the Commanders…..the heir to the throne…..literally signed by greatness personified,” one person commented on X (Twitter).

Jayden is a fan favorite, but his mom is being criticized for doing too much when it comes to her son. She won’t let him date. He can’t even go on a date alone with Regina’s other client, USC women’s basketball star JuJu Watkins.

“She needs a hobby,” former SportsCenter co-host host Trey Wingo said about Regina on Monday.
