Rapper Erica Banks was arrested with a stolen gun at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
According to a police report, Erica was stopped at the North Checkpoint of the airport because a gun was discovered in her Louis Vuitton bag. The bag containing the fully loaded gray Smith & Wesson handgun was placed on the conveyor belt and spotted on an x-ray machine.
When asked if she packed her own bags, Erica responded, “Yes.”
After the gun was discovered in the bag, Erica told TSA officers that she was not aware a gun was in the bag.
A police officer ran a check on the gun and discovered that it was stolen in 2018 in Greensville, South Carolina.

Erica, 26, claimed the gun belonged to her “security,” but she refused to give officers his name.
Erica was planning to board a flight to Houston, but she was arrested on the spot.
The Texas rapper was booked into the Clayton County Jail on Wednesday and charged with theft by receiving stolen property. She was released early Thursday.
Banks, whose legal name is Erica Breaux, is best known for her viral rap hit “Buss It.”
She has over 639,000 followers on Instagram.
