A high-speed police chase in Milwaukee ended with a teenager burned alive and sent 2 police officers to the hospital with burn injuries.
The tragic incident unfolded just after 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, when Milwaukee police spotted a stolen Kia being driven recklessly by a “Kia boy.”
The “Kia Boys” refers to teenage car thieves who took part in the viral TikTok Kia Challenge.

Officers tried to pull over the car driven by 17-year-old Raki Henderson, but he refused to stop. MPD said there was also a warrant for his arrest because the car was linked to a felony crime.
The high-speed chase ended near 19th Street and Hampton when the car crashed into a tree and burst into flames.
Graphic video shows the teenager desperately trying to escape the flames by exiting the vehicle and rolling around on the ground.
The car’s gas tank had ruptured and the flames were fueled by gasoline.
Police frantically tried to put out the fire with extinguishers but Henderson’s body was completely engulfed in flames.
A witness uploaded cell phone video on X (Twitter) that shows Henderson writhing on the ground. The user captioned the video: “This is somebody’s baby, y’all. This made me shed a few tears.”
Henderson’s grieving family is struggling to comprehend the senseless tragedy.
“That is painful, to watch someone burn alive,” said Demita Prescott, the teen’s stepmother. “Unbelievable.”
“That is where we need answers,” Prescott continued. “That’s not even his character, to even be in stuff like that. We’ve never known him to be violent.”
FOX6 News asked Prescott why she thinks Henderson did not stop for police.
“I can’t say, and lord knows I wish he would have,” she replied. “Whatever it was wasn’t that serious to lose your life behind.”
