“She asked me to marry her after knowing me for five months,” he explained. “I don’t know if my heart was really into it. But I didn’t want to make her feel bad and say no.

“I was just in the moment, it caught me off-guard. We’re getting along, we’re vibing, again, we’re only five months in, we’re still in the honeymoon stage,” he added.

David and Halle, 58, were married from 1993 to 1997. Their union didn’t produce any children.

David said he divorced The Monster’s Ball actress because she didn’t cook and clean and she wasn’t nurturing or motherly.

David was heavily criticized on social media as a toxic misogynist for his views on traditional wives and motherhood.

Halle Berry clapped back in a social media post on Thursday. She shared a photo of herself and longtime boyfriend, Van Hunt, lounging in bed together.

“Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering,” the mom-of-two captioned the post.
