On Monday, Cardi B dissed fellow rapper Nicki Minaj and her family after Nicki claimed Cardi artificially inflated her album sales for Am I the Drama?
The diss came just days after Cardi B revealed she was over her longstanding feud with the “Barbie World” rapper.
But the 7-year beef reignited after Nicki announced a new album is coming.
Nicki, 42, retweeted several posts about Cardi’s first-week numbers and the claims that “Drama” went platinum even before the album dropped.
One fan praised Nicki’s albums, including Pink Friday 2, as far superior to Cardi’s sophomore album.
Another fan said “Drama” failed to surpass Nicki’s first-week sales for Pink Friday 2.
On Monday night Cardi B responded in tweets on X: “The power that I have… make these b–hes come out of rehab everytime. Go to your f–ing room.”
In a follow-up tweet Cardi wrote: “Nothing more annoying than a bored b–ch.”
She continued: “You must’ve missed me, huh crazy?? Now kiss my feet.”
Cardi’s tweets apparently set Nicki off.
Nicki insinuated that Cardi B is infected with STDs while pregnant: “Raw doggin pregnant wit da 4th babeeee. Barney B. BV. HPVeeeeee.”
And since Cardi is litigious, Nicki made sure to add “Allegedlyyyyyyyyyyyy.”
Cardi B, who turns 33 in October, clapped back, referring to Nicki Minaj as “cocaine Barbie.” Then she took a dig at Nicki’s age.
“Why you keep bringing up my album?? It’s not the gag that you think it is..You been in the game like 16 years.. you need to compare yourself to YOUR peers that started around YOUR time. Rihanna, Taylor swift, Drake…those are the numbers you need to be competing wit and you can’t cuz you doing lower than all of them.”
Cardi continued: “I was in high school when you came out wtf is you comparing yourself to me for?”
