Darius, 49, is ineligible for a bond and is currently being held on a “fugitive arrest” warrant in a San Diego jail.

A “fugitive arrest” under the California Penal Code applies to individuals who are wanted in another state. He will be transported to Michigan if he waives extradition.

Darius’ rep, Ann Barlow, tells TMZ the warrant out of Michigan for his arrest stems from a missed court appearance, for failure to pay $52,788.04 in back child support as of March 12, 2019.

His rep told Page Six that Darius doesn’t owe any child support because the complaint comes from the mom of his eldest child, Zecheriah, who is now 18 years old and has a trust fund.

“His son is a trust fund baby and the only beneficiary but his mom wants the money,” Darius’ rep claimed.

The rep said Darius was near the US-Mexico border because he “partnered with someone in Tijuana, Mexico, who is a real estate investor and developer” to build shelter for the homeless community there.

“Darius was doing a good deed when he discovered he had a felony warrant at the border of Mexico for a missed court appearance,” she told Page Six.
