NASA responded to Kim Kardashian saying America’s historic 1969 moon landing “didn’t happen.” Kim is among the conspiracy theorists who believe NASA staged the first-ever moon walk.
Astronaut Neil Armstrong, now 95, was the first human being to walk on the surface of the moon in 1969. He was followed out of the capsule by astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who became the second man to step on the moon.
In a recent episode of “The Kardashians”, Kim shared a scene from her “All’s Fair” legal series in which she discusses the moon landing with costar Sarah Paulson.
“I’m sending you… a million articles of interviews with both Buzz Aldrin and the other one,” Kim told Sarah (pictured). She quoted a person who asked Aldrin, “What was the scariest moment?”
Kim then quotes Aldrin, saying “There was no scary moment because it didn’t happen.”
Kim concludes: “I think it didn’t happen.”
Experts point out that Aldrin meant he was never scared during his walk on the moon.
But conspiracy theorists claim Aldrin’s words prove the moon landing was staged.

U.S. Transportation Secretary and NASA acting administrator Sean Duffy took to Twitter to dispute Kim’s claim.
“Yes, we’ve been to the Moon before — six times!” Duffy tweeted on Thursday.
Yes, @KimKardashian, we’ve been to the Moon before… 6 times!
