A blogger-turned politician is accused of shooting into the home of Stockton Mayor Christina Fugazi after she questioned his request for millions in public funds.

CBS 13 reports that Stockton, CA. Vice Mayor Jason Lee Johnson sent a bullet through Mayor Fugazi’s home after she questioned his request for $58 million for his nonprofit.

Johnson is founder of the Hollywood Unlocked Instagram blog and the annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards.

On Wednesday, the mayor spoke out at the Stockton City Council about her concerns with Vice Mayor Johnson’s use of public funds.

Additionally, she accused the vice mayor of creating a hostile work environment and allegedly abusing staff.

She said comments on social media by Vice Mayor Johnson were directed towards her family.

“My family is not mayor. My 4-year-old goddaughter is not mayor. To have her being subjected to somebody’s claim of me or negative comments about me, leave her out of this. And let’s take it one step further. A bullet did go through my house. I have gotten threats. I need to keep my family safe. I have to keep my family safe, and this only exacerbates it.”

CBS 13 spoke with Vice Mayor Johnson, who said he will issue a press release addressing the mayor’s comments.

In August, the Stockton city manager’s office announced an internal investigation into $50,000 that went missing from the city’s Risk Mitigation Fund.

The investigation determined that the money was improperly used by Johnson for Nick Cannon’s “Wild ‘N Out” event.

According to City Manager Steve Colangelo, Johnson misused $50,000 without the city’s approval.

So far, Johnson has not been charged with any crimes.
