Halle Berry and Van Hunt stepped out in frigid New York City, a day after she announced her engagement to the singer/songwriter.
The “Catwoman” actress wore an electric blue blouse, a black skirt and a white coat, while Van Hunt rocked a green rain coat with green jogging pants.

Halle announced her engagement to Van during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday, Feb. 5.
She said there was some “confusion” among fans about her and Van’s relationship status after they dated for 6 years.

The confusion stems from an interview Van gave in 2025.
“I put out the proposal, and it’s still on hold as you can see,” he told TODAY.com in his first joint interview with Halle on the June 4 episode of “Today with Jenna & Friends.”
Van added: “[The proposal is] just out there floating. You know, maybe you can encourage her.”

“There’s some confusion that he asked to marry me and I said no,” Halle told Jimmy.
“But, that’s not the case?” Jimmy asked after Halle turned to laugh at a heckler in the audience.
“No, that’s not the case,” she told Jimmy. “I did not say ‘no,’ we just don’t have a [wedding] date. Of course, I said ‘yes,’ I would marry him.”
“I’m so happy, you guys are a great couple,” Jimmy said. “Security, please have that guy taken out, bye,” he joked, referring to the heckler. “No. I’m so happy, you guys are a great couple. Congratulations.”
Halle flashed her engagement ring, and said of Van, “Thank you. He did put a little ring on it.”
The marriage will be Halle’s fourth and Van’s second.
Halle was previously married to David Justice (1993-1997), Eric Benet (2001-2005), and Olivier Martinez (2013-2016). Halle told TODAY.com in 2025 that Van had been married once before. But he has never spoken publicly about his first marriage.
