Fox News’ political commentator Greg Gutfeld defended UFC fighter Josh Hokit for calling Michelle Obama “a man.” Hokit made the false comment during the UFC Freedom 250 event held on the South Lawn of the White House on June 14.
Following his victory over Derrick Lewis at UFC 250, Hokit gave President Donald Trump a diamond chain. However, Trump was seen removing the chain after Hokit made the false allegation about the former first lady.

The White House declined to respond to CNN’s request for a comment about Hokit’s statement. But the UFC’s Dana White called his comment “Nasty” and “false” and dismissed it as “nonsense.”
On Monday’s episode of Fox’s “The Five,” co-host Greg Gutfeld argued that Hokit referred to Mrs. Obama as “a man” because Democrats insulted First Lady Melania Trump. Gutfeld said Democrats had no “credibility”.

“Hell, I seem to remember, not too long ago, how often I heard that Melania Trump was an escort,” Gutfeld said, in response to co-host Jessica Tarlov criticizing Hokit’s remarks.
Gutfeld also condemned Karmelo Anthony’s supporters for saying he was just defending himself against Austin Metcalf.
Shannon Sharpe was among Michelle Obama’s defenders. During his “Nightcap” podcast with Chad Johnson and Joe Johnson, Shannon said, “I want to make sure there’s a certain network that says don’t bring politics into sports. She happened to be low-hanging fruit. They know that woman, she’s not [a man]. But it’s good… they hate lies and they hate conspiracy theories, but they pushed one for over a decade. But that was cool. That was cool.”
Shannon then said that both Obamas should sue for defamation. He said Obama should have sued when he got into office when people swore he wasn’t an American citizen.
“If I was Michelle Obama that’s what I would have done too. You all say I wasn’t born here, you all say my birth certificate bogus, ok here we go right here, boom. You all say I’m a man? Ok, here it is, right here, boom. Now it’s going to cost you $100 billion. All right, Justice Department, pay it off.”
