One of my loyals readers seems to think that I am homophobic because I’m very outspoken about certain issues. But nothing could be further from the truth. Read the email after the break.

I wish I could comment on your blog (but I have no idea how to register lol) anyways, the shade you throw at some celebrities is what keeps me coming to your site. Your commentary literally has me laughing like crazy at times HOWEVER I’ve noticed for a while now that when you make posts about gay men, they always seem to have an underlying, homophobic vibe to them. Now, as a gay man, I get that lesbians throw shade at us gays because we should “man up” or that we’re too promiscuous, but it’s highly offensive to read how blatantly homophobic a LESBIAN (who is considered just as gay) is towards her own kind. It’s very shocking, and confusing above all, to know that someone with so much power on the internet uses her platform for the defamation of gay men. You don’t come across as homophobic, Sandra. And just because you are a lesbian does not mean you should support all gay people. It would appear that you have an issue with closeted gay men and rightly so. And I guess I was wrong to assume that gay men are becoming less sensitive. With all of the strides that gays are making with the marriage initiative and in the entertainment industry I would think the writer would be in 7th heaven. Maybe he should go over and nest with Perez Hilton. Heaven knows that Perez loves everyone.

I actually think Sandra is fair in regards to homosexuality. If anything when it comes to intimate relationships same sex or other, I feel like she promotes individual wellness. I been reading this blog for over 5 years, she never comes across as homophobic to me. Lol at some of the comments on here. I just want to make a few small points. Tradition is learned I believe. If we were all born into a world where gay was the norm, we wouldn’t know different than what we are taught or conditioned to understand as what is. So when someone tries to play off their homophobia by using that argument, I consider it a fail. Also no one here knows God and what he wants. You only know once again, of HIM what you’ve been told. I had my reasons (ala Keri Hilson twitter defense) but I’m done complaining. lol I love the Lord AND my sexual preference because it’s personal.
