Oscar winner Halle Berry says her 2nd pregnancy came as a “big surprise” to her and fiance Olivier Martinez. The glowing mommy caressed her growing baby bump on the red carpet at the Buenos Aires premiere of her new film The Call earlier today.
Berry, who once referred to her 4-year-old daughter, Nahla, as a sperm donation, told CNN, “I feel fantastic. This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me,” she said. “So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.” Berry said she wasn’t sure if she was having a boy. At 46, Berry is in the high risk category for pregnancy.
According to WebMD, a pregnant woman’s risk of miscarriage (and other health problems for her and the baby) increases if she is older than 35. Berry turns 47 on August 14.
