The WNBA has completed its investigation into alleged racist threats directed at Chicago Sky player Angel Reese during the Indiana Fever season opener game on May 17.

The league announced on Tuesday that they found no evidence of racist slurs directed at Reese during the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana.

“We have investigated the report of racist fan behavior in the vicinity of the court during the May 17, 2025 Chicago Sky at Indiana Fever game,” the WNBA said in a statement.

“Based on information gathered to date, including from relevant fans, team and arena staff, as well as audio and video review of the game, we have not substantiated it. The WNBA is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for everyone and will continue to be vigilant in enforcing our fan code of conduct.”

The Indiana Fever easily defeated the Chicago Sky by a score of 93-58. Fever superstar Caitlin Clark earned her third career triple double: 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Clark and Reese, both 23, got tangled up late in the 3rd quarter and Reese flopped on the court. The refs handed Clark a flagrant 1 foul.

After the game, WNBA officials claimed Fever fans hurled racial slurs at Reese and made monkey noises directed at her.

Reese’s fans stirred the pot by insisting they were at the game and they heard monkey noises. But Fever fans posted videos to prove there were no such noises.

Both Clark and Reese welcomed the investigation into the false allegations.

“I think the WNBA and our team and our organization has done a great job supporting me,” Reese said last week.

“There’s no place for that in our game, there’s no place for that in society,” Clark told reporters after practice on May 19. “Certainly, we want every person who comes into our arena, whether player or fan, to have a great experience,” Clark added.

However, Reese reposted a TikTok screenshot that shows her intense reaction after Clark fouled Reese.

The screengrab was captioned: “white gyal running from the fade.”

Unprofessional sports reporters such as ESPN’s Chiney Ogwumike, a former WNBA player, stoked the flames of racial division by taking sides. Ogwumike apologized on Tuesday following the WNBA’s announcement.

Ogwumike, 33, promised to “do better” in an apology video on X (Twitter).

A new lawsuit filed by a Georgia man accuses Sean Combs and his former assistant Derek Watkins of rape. The lawsuit is the latest in over 70 cases filed against the 55-year-old music mogul by multiple men and women.

In the lawsuit, filed May 20, in Fulton County, Ga, Randy DeWayne Pittman accused Combs and Watkins of assaulting and drugging him on May 23, 2003 at a hotel in Atlanta, Ga.

Watkins, 51, is also known as Fonzworth Bentley,

The incident reportedly took place following a Sean John fashion show at Lenox Square Mall in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta.

Pittman accused the defendants of drugging him and two minor females in the hotel room. He also accused Combs and Watkins of infliction of emotional distress.

Pittman said he was a talent scout for a modeling agency when he attended the fashion show in Atlanta. Pittman confirmed he was not affiliated with combs, Watkins or the fashion show.

Pittman said that during the event he was approached by Watkins who inquired about his occupation. Watkins then invited him to attend a private party hosted by Combs after the fashion show, according to the suit.

Pittman said Watkins invited him to the party on the condition that he bring female guests with him – and Pittman agreed.

The lawsuit claims Pittman was introduced to Combs who asked him to act as if he was part of the Sean John team and to take pictures of Combs at the event.

Pittman and the 2 females, ages 13 and 14, were allegedly transported to a hotel to attend the after-party.

The plaintiff alleged that the defendants plied him and the 2 minors with alcohol and drugs including Ecstasy, and coerced them to perform non-consensual sex acts through manipulation and threats of violence, according to the lawsuit.

Pittman is seeking punitive damages for the assault and infliction of emotional distress. The two minor females were not named in the lawsuit.

Two of 10 inmates who escaped from a New Orleans jail on May 16 are still at large. Escapee Antoine Massey, 31, was seen in a viral cellphone video enjoying Memorial Day at an undisclosed location.

Derrick Groves, 27, is the other inmate still on the loose as of Tuesday morning.

Eight inmates have been captured by police and U.S. Marshals. Those inmates were transferred to the notorious Angola prison in Louisiana.

A jail worker was arrested and charged with helping them to escape under a toilet in a jail cell. Sterling Williams, a 33-year-old maintenance worker, was arrested after he admitted to turning off the water in the cell.

At least a dozen other people were arrested for helping the escapees.

“Antoine and Derrick — you are NEXT!” Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry wrote in a post on X on Monday night.

Authorities believe Antoine Massey was the mastermind behind the jailbreak.

The four-time jail escapee is seen in the video wearing a white tank top and grey swimming trunks. He altered his look by cutting off his braids.

“I’ve been gone for 13 summers. I ain’t been swimming since 2013,” Massey said to the camera before jumping into a swimming pool.

According to Instagram blogger Kollege Kidd, Massey’s father was best friends with Lil Wayne’s deceased stepfather Reginald “Rabbit” McDonald. Lil Wayne, 42, is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Sean Combs’ RICO trial resumed in a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday, May 27, with testimony from Combs’ former assistant Capricorn Clark.

In the third week of the trial, Capricorn Clark testified that Combs, 55, accused her of stealing jewelry while working for him. Combs’ bodyguard Paul Offord, known as Uncle Paulie, conducted a search of Clark’s house, but he didn’t find the missing jewelry. The next day, Offord took her to a dilapidated building in New York that would soon become the corporate offices for Bad Boy Worldwide.

According to USA Today, Clark said Offord took her to the sixth floor where she was met by a “very wide, very heavy” man, who she described as “five of me across. He was very wide.” Clark was told she was there to take a lie detector test.

Clark’s voice cracked and she began crying as she recalled the terror she experienced that day.

“If you fail this test, they’re gonna throw you in the East River,” the man told her. Clark said, “I was petrified. I was afraid what would happen if I didn’t pass this test.”

Clark recalled the polygraph session lasted for 5 days. She was told she couldn’t leave “until we get to the bottom of this,” Clark said on the witness stand.

“I wanted to prove my innocence. I didn’t like the threats,” Clark told the court. “I was just trying to survive it.”

Clark revealed Combs’ list of enemies included incarcerated former music mogul Suge Knight and rapper 50 Cent.

Clark said she had a personal connection to Knight. He is the father of her best friend’s children.

She testified that Combs threatened her when he learned of their friendship.

Combs told her that he wouldn’t have hired her if he knew she was friends with Suge Knight, and “if anything happened, he would have to kill me.”

Last week, rapper Kid Cudi took the witness stand and testified that Combs broke into his house and firebombed his Porsche when Combs found out Cudi was dating Cassie Ventura during “a break” from Combs.

Remy Ma posted throwback photos of boxer Claressa Shields after her estranged husband Papoose filed for divorce. Remy trolled Claressa by sharing the throwback images on social media.

Fans have taken sides in the dispute between Remy Ma, Papoose and Claressa.

The replies were mixed on social media. Many users praised Claressa’s natural beauty, while others attacked Remy for being petty.

One X user wrote, “No one hates on a woman like a woman.”

Another person shared a throwback photo of Remy wearing her natural hair in a short style. The user wrote: “Talking about the pot calling the kettle black.”

A third person wrote: “I wish Remy’s goofy a$s would just take accountability, say ‘I fu#ked up’ and move the hell on.”

30-year-old Olympian Claressa and rapper Papoose, 47, are contemplating getting married and having children after his divorce is finalized.

Previously, Pap, real name Shamele Mackie, accused Remy of sleeping with another woman in the same bed with their daughter.

“The only reason I haven’t filed previously is for the sake of my daughter,” Pap wrote. “But when a person wants to be bitter, & clout chase. It turns into a circus. Which can lead to an embarrassment for my child.”

Last week, Remy claimed “people would cry” if they knew the truth about her marriage to Papoose. “I feel sorry for ol girl,” she said, referring to Claressa.

Caitlin Clark OUT for 2 Weeks with Left Quadriceps Injury

Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark will be out for at least 2 weeks with a left quadriceps injury. The announcement comes after the Fever’s controversial 90-88 loss to the reigning WNBA champions New York Liberty on Saturday, May 24.

Fever fans blame the WNBA referees for Clark’s injury. Ever since she entered the league in 2024 as the No. 1 overall pick, Clark has been treated like an enemy outsider by the players and the referees.

As you can see from the top photo, the referees allow players to grab Clark, foul her, and even assault her on the court.

The Fever lost 2 of their last 4 games by a combined 3 points. Both games came down to the final play of the 4th quarter. And both outcomes were affected by foul calls (or lack of calls) by the referees.

On the final play of the Fever vs Liberty game in Indiana on Saturday, Liberty guard Natasha Cloud reached in and contacted Clark’s arm. That is a reach-in foul in the NBA. But the WNBA’s referees routinely allow the other players to foul Clark when she has the ball.

In the video below, Cloud reaches in and fouls Clark multiple times on the final play of the game. No foul was called.

Clark was injured on this final play when Cloud reached in and fouled her.

Cloud’s tattoos and thug image make the 33-year-old guard a protected class in the WNBA.

The WNBA moved quietly to blackball Chennedy Carter, the ex Chicago Sky guard who brutally body checked Clark last season.

Carter, 26, now plays pro basketball in Mexico.

By blackballing Carter, the league is sending a message that not all of the WNBA’s lesbian players are violent and racist.

Fans say the referees have their orders from the top to protect certain bullies in the WNBA. They say the league isn’t doing enough to protect Clark.

Some fans took to X (Twitter) to say they will not watch WNBA games until Clark returns. WNBA ratings will tank.

Ticket prices for the Indiana Fever’s next few games plummeted after Clark’s injury was announced. Tickets for the Fever’s next matchup against the Chicago Sky on June 7 were selling for $176. But now the cheapest seats are $50.

If all goes well, Clark’s next game back will be here in Atlanta against the Dream on June 10 at State Farm Arena. The cheapest tickets for that game are $116. The price is expected to increase when Clark’s return is confirmed.

The World Reacts to Brigitte Macron Playfully Shoving President Macron (Video)

The world reacted to a playful interaction between French President Emmanuel Macron, 47, and his wife Brigitte Macron, 72, as they arrived in Vietnam on Sunday.

The playful moment was captured as the couple arrived in Vietnam at the start of their Southeast Asia tour.

Video footage shows President Macron standing near the door of their plane as they prepared to exit. Brigitte Macron playfully shoved his face and he waved at the crowd of dignitaries and reporters waiting on the tarmac.

The video went viral and viewers referred to President Macron as a “battered husband” who was “slapped” by his wife.

They even claimed the “stewardess” was injured and her uniform was “ripped” at the shoulder. When in fact she is wearing a scarf that is trapped under her vest.

Macron’s office dismissed the interaction as just “a moment of togetherness” and “playful teasing”, but people have their minds made up.

The Macrons met when he was a 15-year-old schoolboy and she was his 40-year-old teacher. They married in 2007.

Rumor: Michael Jordan Signed $40 Million Deal with NBC Because He’s Broke

Michael Jordan reportedly signed a $40 million a year deal to become a “special contributor” for NBC’s NBA coverage this fall.

“A legendary addition to our team! We’re thrilled to welcome Michael Jordan as a special contributor to the NBA on NBC and Peacock,” NBC announced in a post on X.

This is the first time Jordan has ever covered the NBA as a contributor.

The unusual deal prompted speculation that Jordan is desperate for money.

JosiahW / BACKGRID

There are rumors as far back as 2020 that Michael Jordan was broke after making bad investments and failing to pay back loans and gambling debts.

The former Chicago Bulls superstar, 62, sold off his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets for a reported $3 billion to pay off his debts.

Reports claimed that Jordan lost $500 million as a result of “shorting” GameStop stocks in 2020 or 2021. His net worth reportedly fell from $2.1 billion to $1.6 billion – on paper.

When an investor “short-sells” stocks, he borrows stocks from a brokerage firm then sells the borrowed stocks on the open market with the expectation that the stock price will eventually drop.

If the stock price falls, the investor buys back the stocks at a steep discount. He then returns the stocks to the brokerage firm and keeps the profits he made from the original sale of the stocks.

However, if the stock price increases unexpectedly, the brokerage may issue a “margin call” and demand the return of the stocks at the original price.

Jacob Kupferman/Getty Images

Rumor has it that Jordan didn’t have the GameStop stocks or the $500 million in cash to pay the brokerage.

If the investor (in this case, Jordan) doesn’t have the stocks or the money, the brokerage can freeze his cash accounts and other assets to satisfy the debt.

That is how Randolph and Mortimer Duke were financially ruined in the comedy film “Trading Places” (1983), starring Ralph Bellamy, Don Ameche, Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd. See video clip below.
