Sean Combs’s twin daughters, Jessie James and D’Lila Star, graduated from high school in California amid their father’s ongoing sex trafficking trial in Manhattan.

The 18-year-old twins graduated from the exclusive Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles on Thursday. Their siblings, Christian, Justin, Chance and Quincy attended the graduation ceremony.

The family hosted a private after-party at home. The special occasion was captured by videographers for a planned reality TV series.

Jessie and D’Lila say they will skip college to pursue careers in business, fashion and entertainment.

Their older sister, Chance Combs, is taking a different path in life. Chance, also 18, enrolled at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts last fall.

In a since-deleted TikTok video, the twins revealed they won’t be attending college since that would be a waste of their time.

The girls wore branded hoodies in the video.

“Since Jessie and I are not going to college, we’re gonna be wearing one of our brand hoodies,” said D’Lila in the TikTok video.

“Because we’re repping that we’re gonna be business owners, period,” said Jessie. “And working!” added D’Lila.

Jessie and D’Lila wore custom red gowns to their prom earlier this week.

D’Lila won prom queen alongside her date, prom king Emmitt.

According to reports, Angela Simmons and rap mogul Yo Gotti have gone their separate ways. Rumors first surfaced last week that Angela and Yo Gotti were no longer on speaking terms.

The single mom shared a cryptic message on her Instagram Stories Thursday (May 22), that seemed to confirm the rumors.

“I want what wants me in life. In all areas. What flows FLOWS. What goes GOES,” she wrote.

Angela and Yo Gotti got acquainted when he lusted after her in her DMs on social media.

Gotti, real name Mario Mims, is a successful record label owner who also has a reputation as a gangbanger.

Angela has had terrible luck with men over the years – including an abusive ex-boyfriend. She refused to name the guy.

Angela previously dated businessman Sutton Tennyson, who was fatally shot in his Atlanta garage in 2018. His killer, Michael Williams, was sentenced to life in prison.

Angela and Sutton shared a son, also named Sutton.

During a 2021 interview with The Breakfast Club, Angela said, “I’ve firsthand dealt with abuse and never really spoke out about it and I know there are a lot of women that are stuck.”

The 37-year-old Virgo also sat down with Hollywood Unlocked‘s Jason Lee to discuss the physical abuse she endured.

“Well, hands thrown, hands used. I wouldn’t say punched, but hands used and things thrown at me and stuff like that,” she said. “Enough where there were bruises.”

She added: “It wasn’t okay and it definitely wasn’t right and you know, I knew when enough was enough. Just after a while, being afraid, being scared, that’s not fun. There’s so many different things that you finally [decide] this isn’t for me.”

When pressed to name the person who abused her, Angela said, “I would never speak on names.”

Angela is the daughter of former Run DMC rapper Joseph Simmons, aka Rev. Run. Angela and her siblings appeared on the reality TV show Run’s House.

TODAY Show Host Sheinelle Jones’ Husband Dies from Aggressive Brain Cancer

NBC’s Today show co-host Sheinelle Jones’ husband, Uche Ojeh, has died from an aggressive form of brain cancer. He was 45.

Glioblastoma is a fast-growing, aggressive brain tumor with a low survival rate. Doctors don’t know the cause of a spike in glioblastoma cases in recent years.

Earlier this year, Jones took time off from the Today show to deal with a personal “family health matter.”

“Thank you, for all of your love and support,” Jones wrote in a post in January after her unexplained absence from the show.

Ojeh and Jones, 47, were married for 18 years. They shared three children.

Jones’ NBC co-hosts made the announcement on the air on Friday morning.

“With profound sadness, we share this morning that Uche Ojeh, the husband of our dear friend and Today co-host Sheinelle Jones has passed away after a courageous battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma,” said co-host Savannah Guthrie. “There are no words for the pain that we feel for Sheinelle and their three young children. Uche was an incredible person. We all loved him.”

Guthrie continued: “We just want to say Sheinelle, Kayin, Uche and Clara and the Ojeh family: We are with you, we love you. You are our family and we’re just sending all of our love to you right now.”

Co-host Craig Melvin recalled playing golf with his good friend, Ojeh.

“One thing he always talked about, he talked about those kids. He loved those kids more than anything else in this world,” Melvin said. “[He] was just so proud. He was that dad that was on the sideline at every soccer game, he was at all the concerts and recitals. He was that guy.”

Al Roker called Ojeh “a private guy” who was “wickedly funny.”

“He would say things that kind of caught you off guard, but wasn’t braggadocious or anything. He was a very humble man,” Roker said.

Earlier this week, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna claimed new Ring camera footage proves Tory Lanez’s innocence in Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting.

The Canadian rapper is serving 10 years in prison for shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.

Congresswoman Luna, a Republican who represents Florida’s 13th district, called on California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom to pardon Lanez.

Lanez suffered 14 stab wounds in a prison attack last week.

“I am calling on Gov. Newsom @CAgovernor to review Tory Lanez’s case and issue a pardon,” she wrote in a post on X on Monday (May 19). “His 10-year sentence was based on flawed evidence, political pressure, and prosecutorial bias. Justice must be blind— not driven by headlines. Free Tory Lanez.”

Luna said new “compelling evidence” would be presented in 36 hours (on Thursday, May 22) that would prove Lanez’s innocence.

“We have compelling evidence proving Tory Lanez’s innocence, and it will be released within the next 36 hours,” she wrote on X on Monday. “Those who rushed to call for his incarceration, and worse yet pushed false evidence, should prepare to be held accountable.”

Rep. Luna also gave statements to reporters, saying Lanez is innocent and the new evidence would set him free.

However, lawyers for Megan Thee Stallion shut down claims of new evidence.

Last night Megan’s attorney dropped a PowerPoint presentation disputing each claim. Part of the PowerPoint presentation is shown below.

DJ Khaled linked up with personal trainer Ashton Hall after viewing his inspirational morning routine videos on TikTok. The 49-year-old music producer tips the scales at 250 pounds. He lost 40 pounds through regular exercise and dieting.

Ashton shared a new video of DJ Khaled’s morning routine on his popular TikTok page on Thursday. The video shows Ashton and Khaled running side-by-side on a hot, sunny day in Miami.

Ashton wore black shorts, a weighted vest and Nike runners. While Khaled opted for a weightless vest, black shorts and black Air Jordan Cement 3s.

Khaled re-posted the video on his social media. “Today decided to go to the gym! Meet my trainer,” Khaled wrote.

“We don’t lose weight. All we do is win,” the record producer said in another video shared on TikTok. “Now we might get rid of weight, but we don’t lose weight.”

In another TikTok video, Khaled thanked Ashton for inspiring him. “When I met you, I was inspired,” he said. “First thing I told you, I was like, ‘Yo, your videos inspire me… Pull out the black truck.’ Remember that?”

“I told him to pull out the black truck,” Khaled continued. “I said bring me the – what do you call this vest? The vest. I want the vest, the [athletic] tape… we gotta document the moment.”

Rapper Remy Ma once enjoyed her status as a mom in a successful, longterm marriage to fellow rapper Papoose. Fans celebrated Remy and Papoose’s rare traditional marriage. But nowadays, she reminisces about her failed marriage and the other woman who stole her man.

Remy is reportedly dating battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain.

But the Bronx rapper is obsessed with Pap’s new love, Claressa Shields, a 30-year-old champion boxer and Olympic gold medalist.

During a recent Instagram Live, Remy stressed that her fans would “cry” if they knew the truth about her failed marriage to Papoose, who once held her down while she was in prison.

“I’ve never breathed so freely,” Remy said about her pending divorce. “I couldn’t take it anymore. I said, ‘Hey, this isn’t what it is. You can’t keep doing this.'”

“People would cry if they knew the truth. I feel sorry for ol’ girl,” she said, referring to Claressa. “I feel sorry for her because I know the circles that’s being ran and wrapped around over there. I would cry. I feel bad.”

Remy addressed fans who asked her why she remained silent about the drama in her household. Fans say Remy is “going out sad” and embarrassing herself.

“How am I going out sad? Because I’m not sitting here telling you everything that happened in a marriage?” she said. “If you’ve never been married, you wouldn’t understand the bond that’s supposed to be between two people. You wouldn’t understand that,” she added.

In 2024, there were rumors and speculation that Papoose cheated on Remy with Claressa. At first no one believed the rumors because Remy and Papoose were symbols of strength and perseverance.

Claressa downplayed her role in breaking up Remy’s happy home. “Oh, I mean, it’s the elephant in the room. I don’t have to say it,” Claressa explained during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club.. “We love each other. That’s just what it is.”

Remy, 44, married Papoose, 47, in 2008 while she was in prison serving time on an assault charge. Fans praised Papoose for standing by his longtime love while she was in prison. Following her release from prison, they welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Reminisce, in December 2018.

Remy also has a 24-year-old son named Jayson who was 7 when his mom went to prison. Papoose stepped up to help raise Jayson.

However, Jayson ran with the wrong crowd. He was arrested on a murder charge in June 2024.

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B received the ASCAP Voice of the Culture Award. On Thursday, May 22, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) announced the multiplatinum superstar Cardi B will be honored with the distinguished ASCAP Voice of the Culture Award.

Cardi B made history in 2020 as the first woman to receive the esteemed ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Songwriter of the Year Award two years in a row, adding to her multiple ASCAP accolades, including 8 ASCAP Pop Music Awards and a whopping 23 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. This year, the world-renowned rapper returns to accept the ASCAP Voice of the Culture Award, which is presented to ASCAP members who have had a major influence on music and culture, to recognize their success as creators and changemakers. Last year, Usher was the recipient of the distinguished award.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” early Thursday. 215 Republicans voted yes on the bill, while 2 Republicans voted no. All 212 Democrats voted no. The bill passed by a very slim margin of 215-214.

According to Yahoo News, Trump and the Republicans made good on their promise of no tax on tips, no taxes on overtime, a bigger child tax credit, and a $1,000 savings account for all newborn babies.

Trump took to his Truth Social app to celebrate the bill’s passage on Thursday.

“The Bill includes MASSIVE Tax CUTS, No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, Tax Deductions when you purchase an American Made Vehicle, along with strong Border Security measures, Pay Raises for our ICE and Border Patrol Agents, Funding for the Golden Dome, “TRUMP Savings Accounts” for newborn babies, and much more!” Trump wrote. “Great job by Speaker Mike Johnson, and the House Leadership, and thank you to every Republican who voted YES on this Historic Bill!”

Does the bill contain no tax on Social Security?

However, the bill does not contain a tax break on Social Security, according to Yahoo News.

Retired seniors will still pay taxes on Social Security despite paying taxes on income earned while they were in the work force.

Retired seniors are being unfairly double taxed but Social Security programs can’t be changed through a budget reconciliation process, according to The Hill.

However, the bill contains generous tax relief for seniors including an extra $4,000 deduction for people over 65 filing their taxes, according to CBS News.

The bill also contains $50 billion to complete the border wall and $48 billion to build new detention centers to house gangbangers and other violent criminals.

The bill now moves on to the Senate which is Republican controlled.

Even though the bill contains tax relief for millions of Americans, some people still aren’t happy.

Kid Cudi testified on Thursday in Sean Combs’ sex trafficking trial in Manhattan. Cudi, best known for his song “Day ‘n’ Nite”, said Combs once broke into his home. He also confirmed Combs threw a Molotov cocktail inside his Porsche and torched the sports car.

Kid Cudi said Combs was irate when he found out the 41-year-old rapper was seeing his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura after she “stopped dating” the music mogul.

Kid Cudi said that in December 2011, he received a call from Cassie alerting him that Combs had found out about them. Cassie sounded scared on the phone, the rapper testified.

Cudi picked up Cassie, and while he was gone, his house was broken into. Kid Cudi said his family’s gifts were unwrapped under the Christmas tree, and someone locked his dog in the bathroom. The security cameras at his house had been tampered with.

Kid Cudi said his dog was nervous and jittery after the break-in.

He testified that Combs called him and said, “I’m over here waiting for you.”

Moments later, Kid Cudi’s dog’s babysitter called to say his Porsche was on fire.

The incident is one of dozens of violent acts prosecutors claim Combs committed against people who crossed him.

Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, arson, racketeering and conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
