Actor Michael B. Jordan‘s name was mentioned for the first time on Monday during jury selection for Sean “Puffy” Combs‘ criminal trial in Manhattan. The trial kicked off on Monday with the jury selection process.

Combs, 55, was arrested in September on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation with intent to engage in prostitution.

Combs has denied the allegations, and last week he rejected the prosecution’s offer of 5 years in federal prison in exchange for a guilty plea.

On Monday and Tuesday, potential jurors were handed a list of dozens of celebrity names and asked if they were “familiar” with them.

Some people were excused from the jury pool when they said they were familiar with the names on the list. This caused the judge to change his line of questioning and ask the jurors whether they knew the celebrities “personally.”

Others were dismissed from the jury pool when they admitted seeing the viral video of Combs attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie in 2016.

Potential jurors were surprised to see Michael B. Jordan’s name on the list. He was always careful to protect his public image from scandal.

Michael rose to fame after his emotional performance as Wallace on HBO’s “The Wire” in 2004. He went on to star in the films Fruitvale Station, Creed, Creed II, and Black Panther.

Rolling Stone reports that Michael’s name is on the list because Combs once threatened him over his relationship with the music producer’s ex, Cassie.

Other names on the list include Combs’ close associate and confidante Laurieann Gibson (pictured), Kanye West, former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard, music exec Herve Pierre, music producer Dallas Austin, Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams, rapper Kid Cudi, actress Lauren London, rapper Yung Miami, comedian Mike Myers, and random C- and D-list rappers and actors.

Jury selection is expected to wrap on Wednesday, May 7, with opening statements set to begin on Monday, May 12.

Combs has been housed at a Brooklyn federal jail since his arrest in September. He was denied bond three times.

The video shows staffers struggling to push a large white box out of The Mark Hotel on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

One X user captioned the video: “LMAOOO WHO IS THIS DIVA.”

But it was only “industry plant” Doechii inside the box.

The 26-year-old “Anxiety” singer can be heard yelling at her helpers to bring her more umbrellas.

“I’m ready. Give me another umbrella NOW! I need more f—ing umbrellas!” she shouted from inside the box. She yelled that she didn’t want to be seen by the paparazzi.

Fan Files $100 Million Lawsuit Against the NFL for Unfairly Conspiring with Coaches to Sabotage Shedeur Sanders

A Georgia man filed a $100 million lawsuit against the NFL for “unfairly conspiring” to sabotage Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Shedeur was projected to be the No. 1 pick overall in the Draft last month.

But in a historic slide, the former Colorado quarterback dropped out of the 1st round and remained on the draft board through 5 rounds. The Cleveland Browns eventually selected Shedeur with the No. 144 pick.

In the lawsuit, John Doe accused the NFL of causing “emotional distress and trauma” and “psychological harm as a fan” by conspiring to sabotage his favorite player’s chances of getting drafted early.

John Doe also accused the NFL of violating the Sherman Antitrust Act and the Civil Rights Act as Shedeur’s slide was “influenced by racial discrimination.”

“The NFL’s actions and the dissemination of slanderous statements have caused severe emotional distress and trauma to the Plaintiff, resulting in frustration, disappointment, and psychological harm as a fan,” the lawsuit reads.

“Plaintiff requests that the Court consider this complaint and take appropriate action to address the intentional emotional distress and trauma suffered as a result of the NFL’s collusive practices and the harmful statements made regarding Shedeur Sanders.”

Insiders report that NFL owners and coaches were annoyed by Shedeur’s arrogance during pre-draft interviews.

Shedeur reportedly told one NFL coach, “Maybe I’m not the guy for you.”

The NFL is expected to spend at least $1 million on legal fees fighting the lawsuit in court if the case is not dismissed.

Rapper The Game Loses His $4 Million Mansion to Instagram Model

A judge has ordered rapper The Game to sell his $4 million mansion and turn over the proceeds to a woman who sued him for sexual assault in 2015.

Priscilla Rainey sued the rapper over an alleged assault during the filming of his VH1 reality show. The rapper failed to appear in court during a 2016 trial, and Rainey won a default judgment against him for $7.13 million.

The Game tried unsuccessfully to overturn the default judgment, but he filed his appeal too late.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge granted Rainey’s request to sell the property on May 2.

Over the years, Rainey has seized his music royalties and targeted other assets in an attempt to satisfy the default judgment.

The Game argued that the house was protected under California’s homestead exemption. He claimed the home is legally owned by JTT Holdings LLC, which is registered to his manager, Wack100.

But the judge ruled that JTT Holdings LLC is a shell company created by The Game and Wack100 to keep the residence out of his name.

According to Zillow, the property is currently valued at $4,037,500. Which means he still owes Rainey about $3 million.

The Game purchased the 4-bed, 5-bath, 4,132-square-foot home in Calabasas, CA. for $1.55 million in 2013. He also owns property in Glendale and Compton, California. The Game has a net worth of $10 million.

Naomi Campbell denies a MailOnline report that she was banned from attending the 2025 Met Gala on Monday in New York City.

The Daily Mail reported that the British supermodel was banned from attending fashion’s biggest event of the year due to an ongoing feud with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Last September, Naomi and Anna clashed at the New York Fashion Week ceremony for Harlem’s 17th Annual Fashion Row – where Anna was scheduled to present Naomi with an award.

But Naomi was fashionably late and she kept Anna and everyone else waiting. Anna told the audience: “I am a very punctual person, and I have the honor of presenting tonight to someone who is often late.”

Word got back to Naomi that Anna was badmouthing her for being late.

Naomi finally arrived over an hour late with a bandage on her knee. But a fed-up Anna had already left.

Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Samira Nasr presented Naomi with the Fashion Icon Award. As Naomi accepted her award, she told the audience: “It wasn’t my choice to have the other lady (Anna), I’d much rather have this one.”

Her comment drew loud gasps from the crowd.

Prior to their feud, Naomi attended the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art a total of 21 times.

In a video last week, Naomi said she’s done attending the MET.

“It is my last. I can’t… I’m too old. It’s too much for me, the anxiety,” she said.

However, in an Instagram post on Monday, Naomi said she turned down an invitation to attend Monday’s gala. She captioned the post: “Happy Met Monday.”

“Congratulations to Anna Wintour, the brilliant designers, the dedicated Met Gala team, and stunning attendees of tonight’s extraordinary celebration,” Naomi wrote in her post.

“I was so honoured to be invited to tonight’s big event, but regretfully cannot make it. Even though I’m not there in person, I’m with you all in spirit, carried by the legacy of my beloved friend, the late André Leon Talley. His command, presence, vision and belief that fashion is art helped shape what the Met Gala is presenting tonight.

“I can’t wait to see how everyone mixes African and European style traditions on those famous steps tonight! The creativity will be amazing.”

The rapper’s fans say he is entering his “Soft guy era” – a reaction to the “soft girl era” trend that was popularized by young black women in 2023. The trend is also known as the “Soft boy era.”

A Soft guy is a sensitive, intellectual man who exudes charm and sex appeal, but he remains non-committal to women in his life.

Future’s new haircut got mixed reviews on X. One fan wrote: “Wanda Sykes cut is crazy.” Another fan wrote: “I love how Lori Harvey ruined these men.

Future and Steve Harvey’s stepdaughter, Lori, dated briefly. The father-of-8 tried but he failed to get Lori pregnant with his 9th child.

The rapper dissed Lori in his 2021 track “Tell Steve Harvey I Don’t Want Her.” They broke up after she caught him cheating while they were on COVID lockdown in 2020.
