President Donald Trump hosted the Philadelphia Eagles at the White House on Monday to celebrate their Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts and several other players skipped the visit.

The White House confirmed to NBC News that Jalen Hurts will not attend the event, citing “scheduling conflicts”. Several other players also bowed out of the event.

But one Eagles star got a head start on his teammates. Running back Saquon Barkley spent Sunday golfing with Trump. Barkley was spotted hanging out with Trump at the president’s golf club in Bedminster, N.J. on Sunday.

Trump even offered Barkley a ride back to the White House on Air Force One.

Barkley’s presence on the golf course and on Air Force One with Trump sparked anger on social media.

Journalist Ernest Owens tweeted: “In a world of Saquon Barkleys, be a Jalen Hurts.”

Barkley didn’t hesitate to clap back. He posted on X (formerly Twitter) Monday morning: “lol some people are really upset cause I played golfed and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT.”

“Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand. Just golfed with Obama not too long ago…and look forward to finishing my round with Trump! Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have an amazing day.”

NBA star Anthony Edwards‘ ex-girlfriend Ayesha Howard submitted her stripper permit as evidence that she has not worked in Georgia in 7 years.

Ayesha submitted the evidence in her bid to move her child support case from Georgia to California, where she lives.

Georgia family court judges tend to favor the father in child support cases regardless of the father’s net worth.

In Touch obtained the permit filed by Ayesha, 37, as part of the court battle with Anthony, 23. She submitted a permit from the Atlanta Police Department for an adult entertainment license.

The license shows that Ayesha worked as a dancer at Magic City in Atlanta in 2018. She said the license proves she has not worked in Georgia in 7 years.

Ayesha fired her attorney and is representing herself in court.

She wrote, “Throughout these proceedings, Mr. Edwards and his legal team have not only misrepresented his own connections but have also made false and damaging statements about me, in what appears to be an effort to discredit my character.”

She said, “One such claim was that I worked at Magic City in Atlanta until 2024. This is false. I have obtained documentation from the Atlanta Police Department showing that my last business license with that establishment expired in 2018 — seven years ago.”

Ayesha added, “I have been forthcoming in stating that I have not worked in Georgia for over a decade, and the evidence supports this statement.”

Ayesha said she moved to California before her daughter was born. She argued that Anthony has ties to California due to his agent being based in Los Angeles.

She told In Touch, “My daughter Aubri deserves a future built on honesty and integrity not decisions clouded by errors or injustices”.

However, Anthony’s lawyers said Ayesha lied about her work history in Georgia. They said she refused to provide W2 forms that show she worked at Magic City in 2023 and 2024. Anthony argued that Ayesha worked as a dancer until she got pregnant with his daughter, Aubri Summer Howard, who was born in October 2024.

Ayesha also has a son, Jason, 9, by Atlanta rapper Lil Baby. Ayesha’s previous attorney told the court that she is unemployed and broke.

“[Ayesha] is currently unemployed and relies on savings, family support and any support that Anthony provides to maintain the needs and care for the minor child,” Ayesha’s former lawyer wrote.

Ayesha asked the court to establish temporary child custody and child support. But Anthony has said he does not want custody or visitation rights.

Anthony claimed Ayesha had “a Georgia driver’s license through September 2024, has only ever been registered to vote in Georgia and all of Ayesha’s known addresses, phone numbers and vehicles have been registered in Georgia.”

Anthony insisted that Ayesha filed her child support case in California in hopes of securing a higher child support check.

The Timberwolves star said Ayesha “worked as a dancer at Magic City Strip Club located in Atlanta, Georgia, until she got pregnant around January 2024.” Anthony has a total of 4 children by as many baby mamas.

A California judge previously ruled the case must be heard in Georgia where the state has jurisdiction over Ayesha and Anthony because they both lived here.

Ayesha Curry and her twin, Riley, had a good reason for missing Steph Curry‘s big Game 3 win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday, April 26.

The Golden State Warriors beat the Rockets 104-93 to take a 2-1 lead in their NBA playoff series. The teams face each other again in Game 4 tonight (April 28).

Ayesha and Riley, 12, were noticeably absent from the game. Instead, they spent the entire day together.

Ayesha shared photos of their fun mother/daughter day on her Instagram account on Monday. She caption the gallery simply, “A weekend.”

The day began with a nutritious breakfast. Then Ayesha attended Riley’s volleyball game. One photo showed Riley jumping up to serve the ball.

Afterwards, they went shopping at a mall. Mommy and daughter took selfies making faces.

Ayesha shared a touching photo of Riley laying on her lap as they watched TV together. No, they weren’t watching the Warriors game.

Steph and Ayesha Curry are also parents to daughter Ryan, 9, son Cannon, 6, and baby Cai, who was born in May.

Sean Combs’ legal team will use his “mental condition” as a defense strategy in his upcoming trial in New York on May 5.

The 55-year-old disgraced rap mogul is in a Brooklyn jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking, racketeering, and conspiracy charges. He also faces dozens of lawsuits alleging abuse of men, women, and children.

Combs’ defense team plans to have a doctor and Columbia professor testify on his behalf that he had a “mental condition” according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

The doctor will testify that Combs was not in a clear frame of mind to participate in orgies or alleged abusive activities.

Mental condition bearing on the issue of guilt

The doctor will explain to the jury that Combs had a “mental condition bearing on the issue of guilt” according to court documents obtained by TMZ on Monday.

Prosecutors argued that the doctor’s opinion on whether Combs was “lucid” is invalid. They point out that the doctor never personally examined the rapper in jail. Prosecutors said testimony would be based on the doctor’s experience with other patients.

Last week, it was revealed that Combs rejected a plea deal from federal prosecutors in exchange for a minimum of 5 years in prison.

A judge denied Combs’ request to delay the start of his trial for 2 months.

In another legal blow, the judge will allow the jury to view a video that shows Combs beating his ex-Cassie Ventura at a hotel in California in 2016.

Sports journalist Stephen A. Smith dropped hints that his “First Take” co-host Shannon Sharpe has lost his job at ESPN, which is owned by Walt Disney.

Last week, Sharpe announced that he was “temporarily” stepping away from his hosting duties on ESPN. He said he will be back to cover the NFL preseason on “First Take.”

Sources at ESPN say the company planned to ask Sharpe to step down before he took a leave of absence. ESPN released a statement that read: “This is a serious situation, and we agree with Shannon’s decision to step away.”

Sharpe, 56, first joined Smith as co-host of “First Take” in August 2023. He planned to sign a $100 million contract with ESPN that would include content from his “Club Shay Shay” podcast.

I’m going to miss him, but it was not a surprise

In an episode of his podcast on YouTube, Smith explained that he will miss seeing Sharpe on the set of “First Take” with him. He suggested that Sharpe won’t be back in his former role as co-host.

“When the news came down that he and ESPN had mutually agreed that he would need to come off the airwaves of ESPN, it was a blow, a blow to the show, a blow to me personally,” he said. Smith continued, “I’m going to miss him, but it was not a surprise.”

Smith explained that working for Disney means there are certain expectations, such as a morality clause that forbids embarrassing the Disney corporation.

“He was working at Disney,” Smith said. “I’ve been at Disney since October of 2003. I know this place. I know the worldwide leader that is ESPN … it wasn’t difficult for me to figure out what was transpiring.”

Sharpe is currently fighting a $50 million lawsuit filed by an OF model who accused him of multiple rapes and physical abuse.

In her lawsuit, Jane Doe claimed she was in a 2-year “relationship” with Sharpe that began when she was 19.

However, sources close to Sharpe said there was never a relationship between Sharpe and the woman. They claim 22-year-old Doe is a sex worker who begged Sharpe to tie her up during BDSM sessions at least once a week.

Sharpe has been sued by multiple women alleging sexual assault. He reportedly settled multiple lawsuits over the years.

A thief who brazenly stole Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem‘s Gucci handbag has been arrested.

As a top government official, Noem and her family are under 24/7 Secret Service protection.

However, Secret Service agents did not notice when the thief stole Noem’s Gucci handbag while she dined with her family on Easter Sunday at The Capital Burger, just a mile from the White House.

Federal agents charged Mario Bustamante-Leiva, 49, with stealing Noem’s Gucci bag, which retails for $4,400 on Gucci’s website.

The designer handbag contained $3,000 in cash, her passport, driver’s license, credit cards, blank checks, apartment keys, medication, makeup bag, and Noem’s Homeland Security access badge. There was also a $600 Louis Vuitton purse inside the handbag.

Noem said the bag was on the floor next to her feet as she sat at a table. She rose from the table and noticed her bag was gone.

She said Bustamante-Leiva used his foot to hook the bag and drag it before throwing a coat over the bag and picking it up. Surveillance video shows a masked man leaving the restaurant with the bag wrapped inside a coat.

“He hooked it with his foot and dragged it a few steps away and dropped a coat over it and took it,” she said.

Noem said she thought her grandkids kicked her leg under the table.

“I think I was a busy grandma with four grandkids under the age of four, and I was taking care of them and feeding them food and enjoying my family.”

Federal agents used cell phone data and other technology to track down the Chilean national who has a long history of organized theft crimes.

Authorities say Bustamante-Leiva is part of a robbery ring working on the East Coast of the United States. Officials say Bustamante-Leiva likely didn’t know who he was robbing.

A second suspect was arrested in Miami on Sunday, April 27.

“This second offender is implicated in a pattern of thefts and robberies with the primary defendant who is accused of the robbery of the Secretary. He was taken into custody earlier today with critical assistance from the Miami Beach, Florida police department and immigration and customs enforcement,” a Secret Service spokesperson said.

ICE officials say Bustamante-Leiva and his accomplice are in the country illegally. They are both part of a robbery ring that targets high-value individuals and their homes.

The White House said both robbery suspects will be deported to a notorious prison in El Salvador.

Last year, megachurch pastor, Bishop TD Jakes suffered a mild heart attack during a sermon at his Potter’s House Church in Dallas, Texas.

In November, Jakes filed a defamation countersuit against 2 brothers who accused him of sexual misconduct.

The men claimed Jakes assaulted them decades ago when they were teenagers. They demanded $6 million from Pastor Jakes, “in order to resolve this matter quickly and privately.”

Pastor Jakes denied the allegations. He suffered a minor heart attack soon afterwards.

On Sunday, Jakes announced he is stepping down as senior pastor of the Potter’s House Church in Dallas. He passed down the megachurch’s leadership to his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, 36, and her husband, Touré Roberts, 51.

“This is legacy,” Pastor Jakes said. “Not because they’re kin, but because they’re kind. They’ve immersed themselves into the DNA of this church for years.”

“I’m grateful, I’m honored,” Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts said. “As your daughter, I’m so happy you’re going to get some rest.”

Bishop Jakes, 67, founded the Potter’s House Church in 1996.

The famed pastor said that while he is retired, he will continue doing work in his community.

A post on the Potter’s House Instagram page read: “With grace and vision, @BishopJakes unveiled his next chapter beyond the pulpit — while blessing Pastors @ToureRoberts and @SarahJakesRoberts as the new senior leaders of The Potter’s House.”

The model tried to backtrack when she realized the podcast viewers guessed her lover’s name.

Update 1: The son of an Atlanta Falcons coach has privately and publicly apologized to Shedeur Sanders for his “shameful” prank call on Friday.

Jax Ulbrich, son of Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, called Shedeur on Sunday morning to apologize for giving Shedeur’s private number to a friend.

Jax also wrote a public apology to Shedeur on Sunday.

Jax wrote: “On Friday night, I made a tremendous mistake. Shedeur, what I did was completely inexcusable, embarrassing, and shameful. I’m so sorry I took away from your moment, it was selfish and childish.”

He continued: “I could never imagine getting ready to celebrate one of the greatest moments of your life and I made a terrible mistake and messed with that moment.”

Jax, 21, concluded: “Thank you for accepting my call earlier today, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.”

The Falcons also issued a statement on Sunday, saying Jax “unintentionally came across the draft contact phone number for Shedeur Sanders off an open iPad.”

Shedeur was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 5th round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday night.

Shedeur’s father, NFL Hall of Famer and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, previously predicted that his son would be a top 5 pick. But his prediction backfired when Shedeur slid out of the 1st round without being drafted.

Shedeur’s misery was compounded on Day 2 of the NFL Draft when Jax Ulbrich acquired his phone number and gave it to a friend to prank call Shedeur.

The prank call was captured on livestream video at Shedeur’s draft party.

The caller pretended to be Saints manager Mickey Loomis, saying, “This is Mickey Loomis here, the GM of the New Orleans Saints… How are you doing, man?”

Shedeur responded that he had been waiting for Loomis to call.

The caller said, “Yeah, we have. It’s been a long wait, man. We’re gonna take you with our next pick right here, man.”

However, the Saints pick was already in.

When Shedeur said, “It’s gonna be legendary,” the caller told him, “Yeah, but you’re gonna have to wait a little longer, man. Sorry about that.”

Afterwards, Shedeur looked confused. “Nobody had that number. The number was only in the email thread that the NFL sent out to only teams,” he said.

Shedeur said the NFL gave him that phone specifically for the NFL draft.

The video clip went viral on social media and sparked anger against the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys legend Dez Bryant blamed an NFL coach for giving out the private phone number to prank Shedeur.

ESPN host Stephen A. Smith blamed the NFL for “colluding” to embarrass a Black man, the son of Deion Sanders.

A league spokesperson tells Pro Football Talk that the NFL will be looking into the allegations that a coach leaked Shedeur’s number.

NFL star Patrick Mahomes sparked backlash on social media when he explained why he cut his 3C hair.

In an interview with KCTV, the 3-time Super Bowl champion said he didn’t cut his unkempt mohawk for superstitious reasons.

“I’ve wanted to do it for a while, but it was kind of one of those superstitions. I kept winning the Super Bowl, which is a good thing, but I didn’t want to cut the hair while I was doing it.”

Patrick, 29, added that he planned to cut his hair whether the Kansas City Chiefs won or lost the 2025 Super Bowl in February.

“I told everybody during the season that win or lose, if we win three in a row or if we lose, I’m getting a haircut, like that’s enough,” he said.

However, Patrick caused hurt feelings in the Black community when he described his 3C hair as “nappy.”

“I’m very excited. I’ve looked at some videos from last year, and I can’t believe all you guys let me keep that nappy hair for so long,” he said. “Like, I look way better now with the short hair. So, I’ll be keeping this going forward.”

The Black community has never fully embraced Patrick, whose father is Black. Patrick and his wife, Brittany, share three children.

One X (Twitter) user wrote: “White mother and a white wife, nothing left to see here.”
