The NBA warned both Morant and Warriors guard Buddy Hield to stop making the gun gesture that resembles a 3-point shot celebration.

However, Morant made the gun gesture again in Memphis’ victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday.

Morant said after the Heat game that he was “well aware” of the controversy his gun gestures caused.

NBA executive Joe Dumars announced the $75,000 fine, which is a drop in the bucket for Morant.

The league said Morant was fined “for twice making an inappropriate gesture on the playing court… Morant was previously warned by the league office that this gesture could be interpreted in a negative light,” the league’s statement said.

“Morant was previously warned by the league office that this gesture could be interpreted in a negative light,” the statement continued.

In 2023, Morant was suspended eight games, forfeiting $40 million for flashing a gun on social media.

He claimed the gun was a prop at the time.

Ex-NFL star Antonio Brown is offering refunds to kindhearted people who donated $80,000 to a man who left his three kids at a Georgia McDonald’s.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office in Augusta said Chris Louis lied about going to a job interview when he left his children – ages 10, 6, and 1 – at a McDonald’s indoor play area on March 22.

Concerned customers notified McDonald’s employees that three children appeared to be abandoned at the restaurant.

Louis’s 10-year-old daughter told police her father said he was going to drop off a backpack someplace when he left her in charge of her younger siblings at the restaurant.

She told police her father often left them alone for extended periods of time.

The daughter called her mother, who arrived at the McDonald’s about 6:12 p.m. The children’s mother called Louis, who said he was on his way back.

He arrived 6 minutes later still carrying the black backpack. He said he had gone to a hotel next door to fill out an application. But a hotel employee told police there were no interviews scheduled that day.

Louis told police he “lost his ID and another card and had been retracing his steps to find them.”

Deputies arrested Louis and he was charged with misdemeanor deprivation of a child.

Antonio Brown and several other athletes contributed to a GoFundMe created by Brown to help the Louis family.

Brown disabled the GoFundMe account. He says the $80,000 in donations “will remain on hold” and he is offering refunds.

Brown said he is withholding the money from Louis to “make sure it’s for a good cause.”

Among those who have donated money to Louis are Brown ($1,084), ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit ($1,000) and Chris “Swaggy C” Williams, a YouTuber, who donated $2,000.

In the B&W music video, directed by Diane Martel, Ciara takes her sensuality to another level. The mom-of-4 shows off her cheeks while wearing a sheer black bodysuit.

Former Magic City dancer Gorgeous Doll sues over wrongful termination, sexual harassment

A former Magic City dancer is suing the Atlanta strip club for wrongful termination, sexual harassment and theft of wages.

Gorgeous Doll, real name Courtney Hale, filed the lawsuit in Atlanta last month.

According to Hale’s complaint, a third-party club promoter routinely demanded “kickbacks” from the dancers.

The girls were also forced to pay the DJ and club security from the money they collected from club patrons every night.

Hale, who worked at Magic City from September 2022 to September 2023, said she was fired when she complained about harassment.

Hale also says she was sexually harassed by a female manager and that no action was taken when she complained.

“I’m speaking up for myself because I know that something was done, and it was illegal,” Hale told Fox 5 Atlanta.

Hale says she was forced to turn over part of her wages every night to the club DJ, security team, and a third-party promoter known only as “Baller.”

“Baller wanted $500 per girl… he was leaving with $8,000 off of us,” Hale said. If the dancers earned $20,000 collectively in one night, they were forced to split less than $10,000 amongst themselves after Baller and the club took their cut.

Hale’s attorney says the wage theft is a violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

“There aren’t a lot of girls who speak out because they’re scared,” she told Fox 5.

In January of this year, Hale accused rapper Latto of having her jumped while she was pregnant, causing her to miscarry. The incident reportedly stemmed from Hale mentioning Latto’s rumored boyfriend – rapper 21 Savage. Latto denies the allegations.

The Source website hacked by the Chinese amid ongoing tariff war with Trump

Chinese hackers took down popular Hip-Hop website TheSource.com overnight. When the site returned on Friday morning, the front page was covered in Chinese advertising.

Visitors to theSource.com on Friday found a page full of Chinese symbols rather than stories about their favorite rappers.

The Source magazine was founded in 1988 by Harvard University students David Mays and Jonathan Shecter. Their one page newsletter evolved into a full-color magazine dubbed “the bible of hip-hop.”

The Source‘s “5 mics” rating became a significant achievement for hip-hop artists.

The Source has over 800K followers on X (Twitter).

The website hacking is part of the ongoing trade war between China and the United States.

President Trump’s tariff announcement sent the U.S. stock market into a nosedive this week.

The cyber attack is apparently in response to tariffs announced by U.S President Donald Trump.

China retaliated by imposing a 34% tariff on all goods exported to the U.S. The tariff war sent the U.S. stock market spiraling on Thursday.

Tariffs are taxes on imported goods, meaning the price of everything will rise since most of our goods are imported from foreign countries.

The tariffs will make Shein and Temu orders more expensive. Car parts and appliances will be more expensive to buy.

Etsy and Amazon sellers will also be affected by the tariff war.

American workers and retirees are terrified that their 401(k) retirement accounts will see massive losses.

Update: On Thursday, a judge denied Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis‘ motion to revoke rapper Young Thug‘s probation for tweeting a photo of a police gang investigator.

In her order on April 3, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker noted a tweet by Young Thug that featured a photo of APD gang investigator Marissa Viverito.

He captioned the image: “the biggest liar in the DA’s office.”

Judge Whitaker ruled in Young Thug’s favor. She noted that the post didn’t rise to the level of a serious violation.

However, Whitaker added in a footnote, “While the Court does not find that the cited social media post rises to the level of a violation of Defendant’s probation, it may be prudent for Defendant to exercise restraint regarding certain topics.”

On Tuesday, Willis filed a motion to revoke Thugger’s probation and send him back to jail. In the motion, Willis said Young Thug and his associates doxxed Ms. Viverito, revealing her home address.

In 2022, Fani Willis indicted Young Thug and 27 others in a sweeping Georgia RICO case that became the longest running trial in Georgia history.

In 2024, Willis and Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, agreed to a plea deal in exchange for 15 years probation.

However, Willis says Young Thug’s recent tweets on X (Twitter) prove he is still engaging in criminal gang activity.

Viverito is currently testifying in a gang murder hearing at the Fulton County courthouse.

There is a standing court order not to show her face on TV while she’s testifying.

Kim Kardashian admits her children aren’t “the most comfortable” around Tristan Thompson’s mentally disabled brother, Amari Thompson.

Tristan, 34, became his little brother’s guardian after their mother died in 2023. Amari has a severe form of epilepsy and is wheelchair-bound. He has frequent epileptic seizures around Kim’s children.

Khloé Kardashian, who has 2 children with Tristan, invited her ex and his brother to live with her after Tristan’s home was flooded during a torrential rainstorm.

Kim Kardashian often visits Khloe’s home with her 4 children by Kanye West.

Kim, 44, admits her children aren’t comfortable around Amari and they do not fully understand Amari’s disabilities.

“They have a lot of questions and, at times, they might not be the most comfortable,” she said in a confessional interview on the latest episode of “The Kardashians.”

Kim encourages her children to play with Amari so they can get to know him.

“I think it’s so important that they play with him and they really get to know him,” she said.

Khloé, 40, said her children, True, 6, and Tatum, 2, have adjusted well to Amari.

“My kids, they’re much more exposed to Amari than some of the other kids, so True’s more concerned than frightened of Amari, but I do think it’s important for our kids and everyone’s kids to be exposed to all different types of people,” Khloé explained on “The Kardashians.”

Anthony Edwards’ baby mama goes off on ‘broke’ women: ‘I’m rich, you choose poverty’

Influencer Ayesha Howard dissed women who called her a “gold digger” who uses her children for a check.

Ayesha, 39, has children by NBA star Anthony Edwards and rapper Lil Baby. She’s currently in a battle with Anthony for child support for their infant daughter.

Anthony is trying to pay her full child support of just over $1 million for 18 years up front so he never has to deal with her or her child again.

Ayesha responded to the gold digger comments in a series of videos on her Instagram story this week.

“I came into this situation with a status because I have a child by a very successful artist, right?,” Ayesha said. “From then, I am viewed as a certain type of woman because I am beautiful and have a nice body. And normally women like that attract a certain caliber of men, which is also not my fault.”

She continued: “And now that I am in yet another situation where I now have a child with another successful man, there is no telling you guys that I am not a gold digger.”

Ayesha went on to say, “There’s no beating those allegations at all… What if I came to y’alls pages and I compare the men that you have children with to the men that I have children with, and I said, ‘Hmm, you were digging for poverty when you picked him to be your baby daddy, weren’t you?'”

Ayesha suggested that her followers chose their men for poverty, section 8 vouchers, or welfare checks.

She concluded: “If that was triggering, that’s how I feel every time somebody says ‘do you even love that baby?'”

It didn’t take long for social media users to respond.

Rapper DDG‘s fans are in a frenzy over news that he is expecting a second child with singer/actress Halle Bailey.

DDG caused a buzz on social media when he uploaded a sonogram image of an unborn baby on Tuesday. He captioned the image: “halo’s little brother otw.”

However, Internet sleuths conducted a reverse image search and discovered the image was taken from a 2020 article published by the Global Action Plan Organization.

It isn’t the first time DDG has hinted at a second child with his ex-girlfriend.

DDG, 27, and Halle, 25, already share a son named Halo Bailey, born in December 2023.

A Georgia father who was arrested for leaving his children alone at a McDonald’s was not at a job interview, police say.

Chris Louis, 24, left his three kids, ages 1, 6 and 10, alone at the restaurant for over 90 minutes, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

He returned to the restaurant and was detained by sheriff deputies when he was unable to prove where he had been.

Louis told officials he had filled out an application at the West Bank Inn hotel next door earlier in the day and was waiting for a callback.

An employee confirmed Louis had filled out a job application at around 1:30 p.m. but was not expecting any return call for an interview.

Security footage showed Louis walking around the hotel at 1:30 p.m, but not around 4:30 p.m. when he left his kids at the McDonald’s.

The McDonald’s location in Augusta, Ga has a play area inside, according to The Augusta Press.

Concerned customers notified McDonald’s employees that the children appeared to be abandoned inside the restaurant.

The customers heard Louis say that he needed to “drop something off” before he left the kids at the restaurant.

The children’s mother arrived and took custody of the children while Louis was transported to jail.

Ex-NFL star Antonio Brown launched a GoFundMe that raised over $45,000 for Louis.

However, social media users expressed doubt that the family will receive the money from Brown, who has significant cash flow problems himself.
