Celebrities are moving out of Atlanta in droves. The city has become an undesirable place to live for rappers, singers, actors and pro athletes.
Crime and the cost of living are spiraling out of control, causing celebs to abandon Atlanta for Miami, Houston, L.A. and even New York.
Rapper Cardi B says she no longer wants her Atlanta mansion after filing for divorce from promiscuous rapper Offset. Cardi and Offset purchased the 22,000 sq. ft. house for $5.5 million in December 2019.

But Cardi, who was born in the Bronx, packed up and moved with her three kids back to New York. Cardi listed her Atlanta property for $7 million. She also owns a $6 million home in New Jersey.
She posted an X (Twitter) photo of her Atlanta home, which is under renovation, along with the caption: “My casa … I don’t want it no more tho.”

When asked why she no longer wanted her house, Cardi explained: “I don’t like living in Atlanta … I actually don’t like living nowhere else but NY.”
One follower then suggested Miami as an alternative, but Cardi dismissed that idea.
“After 2 weeks in Miami I be ready to go back home.”
One famous Atlantan who is staying put is rapper Rick Ross. He expressed an interest in Cardi B’s property.

Rick Ross famously bought former boxer Evander Holyfield’s Atlanta area estate.
Rick Ross also purchased rapper Meek Mill’s home, which he saw on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Cardi is still dragging Offset, who has been pictured with Instagram models at celebrity events.
In a now-deleted post, Cardi appeared to lash out at Offset on social media, where she wrote, “Fk off and sign the papers today.”
This came after a statement from Offset who accused her of trying to ruin his reputation.
“You are a fire woman with good music but you focus on dk and trynna make me look bad … This s**t is whack from us both, honestly. Drop the album and go up.”
Washington Commanders safety Jeremy Reaves proposed to his girlfriend, Mikaela Worley, after the Commanders defeated the Atlanta Falcons in Landover, Maryland on Sunday.
Worley happily accepted Reaves’ proposal, then the couple hugged and waved at the cheering crowd. Unfortunately, Reaves didn’t get his messy life in order before he proposed to his girlfriend in front of God and the world.

A service worker with the username @onlykiaaaaa on X (Twitter) has now come forward to expose Reaves for flying her out to provide intimate services.
Kia put Reaves on blast as “the same man who was in my DMs trying to fly me out & f**k. I think the f**k not.”
Sean “Puffy” Combs had a mental breakdown at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center the day after Christmas.
RadarOnline.comreported that Combs, 55, pleaded with guards to take him to a prison hospital for evaluation. A source tells Radaronline.com that Combs believed he was having a panic attack or possibly a mental breakdown.
According to a source close to the disgraced rap mogul, the guards at the detention center refused his request.

The insider claimed: “Spending the holidays behind bars was a nightmare for him. He eventually managed to calm himself down with the meditation technique he’s been using while he’s been behind bars.
“It took him a few hours of deep breathing and focusing to get out of the bad space he was in, but he finally managed it.”
A separate source close to the rapper’s camp denied the reports, claiming the rapper is staying strong in jail – despite missing his children at Christmas.
Rumor has it that Combs is on a hunger strike and he’s losing weight.
A witness at a recent pretrial hearing in Manhattan said the rap mogul looked “astonishingly thinner” and “grayer” in person.
“He appeared just astonishingly thinner… he appeared very noticeably thinner and maybe being locked up in detention is starting to wear on him,” Law & Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner said after the hearing.
She said Combs’s jet black hair was “grayer” in person. State and federal inmates are not allowed to dye their hair in jail.
Combs was arrested in September on human trafficking and conspiracy charges. He was denied bond three times and he withdraw a 4th attempt to obtain bond.
Dozens of people have since come forward to file lawsuits accusing Combs of drugging and assaulting them.
The rapper’s legal team released a statement following the new lawsuits: “These complaints are full of lies. We will prove them false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.”
Dwight Howard’s fiancée Amy Luciani regrets not being able to conceive children with him. The 34-year-old YouTube personality rose to fame as one-half of “The Amy & Mazi Show.”
The aspiring songwriter also appeared on the reality TV show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta‘s eleventh season.
She recently made headlines when Dwight took Amy to his grandmother’s house for Christmas.
The couple flaunted massive engagement rings while out and about recently. Meanwhile, fellow Love & Hip Hop star, Scrappy, shared a video clip of the couple slow dancing. In his caption, Scrappy said that they had “tied the niznyee,” implying that they are already married.
Friends say Dwight, 39, wants to have children with his new fiancée, but she is unable to conceive naturally.
In an emotional video clip from LHHATL, Amy explained to ex-boyfriend Mazi why she couldn’t conceive their children. “I did not want to believe that this was my reality. So you’re not shooting blanks,” she said. “You’ve been asking for years. It was me.”
Dwight’s baby mama, Royce Reed, reacted to his new relationship status by accusing him (again) of abusing her.
Royce is the mother of Howard’s eldest son, Braylon Joshua Howard. She took to her Instagram on Dec. 29, and shared multiple videos detailing the abuse allegations.
But Amy took to Instagram to brush aside the allegations and thank her followers for their positive comments.
She captioned the post: “After all that … still Committed.”
Some LHHATL fans suspect their relationship is just a storyline, since he admitted sleeping with men in the past. But Dwight insists their love is real.
Dwight is a devout Christian who once said that he wanted to use his NBA career and Christian faith to “raise the name of God within the league and throughout the world.”
In July 2023, a man sued Howard for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and false imprisonment. But Dwight settled the lawsuit out of court. The case was dismissed with prejudice in August 2024.
In another video, Amy thanked the former NBA star for bringing her “back to the word.”
“I was enjoying you so much out of the public eye but here we are. Thank you for bringing me back to the word. Anything I say or fuss about, first thing you say is ‘Did you pray about it?’ Then I realized I hadn’t [been] praying much lately at all. I’m just thankful, happy and ready for everything that’s coming our way. I prayed reallllll deep on a Thursday not knowing 2 days later God would send me a Bible totin, tattood giant with the same heart as me. Thank you.”
Minnesota Timberwolves‘ star Anthony Edwards continues to rack up excessive fines for using profanity during post-game interviews.
Edwards was fined $100,000 for something he said after the Timberwolves defeated the Houston Rockets on Friday. The fine was the largest yet for the 6-ft-4 shooting guard. Edwards, whose total for the season now stands at $235,000, dropped several curse words while explaining his go-ahead 3-pointer in the game’s final seconds.
“I gotta go get it, s***,” Edwards said. “Nickeil found me. He cut me off. I’m like, s***, I’m going for the win. Like Gilbert Arenas said, I don’t do overtime, so f**k it,” Edwards said.
Edwards’ winning shot capped a 16-point comeback for the Timberwolves.
The NBA was not amused by Edwards constantly dropping f-bombs during postgame interviews.
The NBA announced on Sunday that the 23-year-old All-Star was fined $100,000 for “using profane language during a live television interview.” The whopping fine was determined “based in part on Edwards’ history of using profane language during media interviews.”
Edwards drew a $75,000 fine for calling officials “f***ing terrible” following a Dec. 21 loss to the Warriors.
A previous interview cost Edwards $25,000. And he was also fined $35,000 in November for flipping off a Kings fan in Sacramento.
$235,000 is pocket change to Edwards, who is owed $42.2 million this season as part of his 5-year, $244.6 million rookie contract extension.
As long as NBA players earn more than British royalty to play a child’s game, they will continue to violate the rules.
President Joe Biden said former President Jimmy Carter asked him to deliver his eulogy. Carter died on Sunday while under hospice care at his home in South Georgia.
In March 2023, Biden told donors at a California fundraiser that the 39th president asked him to deliver his eulogy during a visit to Carter’s home in Plains, Ga.
“He asked me to do his eulogy,” Biden said, before adding, “Excuse me, I shouldn’t say that.”
Carter was the longest-living U.S. president before he died from natural causes on December 29. His wife of 77 years, Rosalynn, died in November 2023 at age 96.

Biden, 82, ordered a State Funeral to honor Carter’s legacy in Washington, D.C. The Carter family confirmed a state funeral will be held in D.C. on Jan. 9, 2025 with a smaller, private funeral and burial to follow in Plains, Ga.
“To honor a great American, I will be ordering an official state funeral to be held in Washington D.C. for James Earl Carter, Jr., 39th President of the United States, 76th Governor of Georgia, Lieutenant of the United States Navy, graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and favorite son of Plains, Georgia, who gave his full life in service to God and country,” Biden said in a statement on Sunday.
“Today, America and the world lost an extraordinary leader, statesman and humanitarian. Over six decades, we had the honor of calling Jimmy Carter a dear friend. But, what’s extraordinary about Jimmy Carter, though, is that millions of people throughout America and the world who never met him thought of him as a dear friend as well.”
Biden continued: “With his compassion and moral clarity, he worked to eradicate disease, forge peace, advance civil rights and human rights, promote free and fair elections, house the homeless, and always advocate for the least among us. He saved, lifted, and changed the lives of people all across the globe.”

“He was a man of great character and courage, hope and optimism. We will always cherish seeing him and Rosalynn together. The love shared between Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter is the definition of partnership and their humble leadership is the definition of patriotism.
“We will miss them both dearly, but take solace knowing they are reunited once again and will remain forever in our hearts.”
Carter, a Democrat, served just one term in office before losing in a landslide to Republican Ronald Reagan in 1980. Though Carter and Biden remained friends for decades, former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, and other Democrat lawmakers, kept their distance from Carter.
When Carter entered hospice care in 2023, Obama and Clinton both traveled to Plains to pay their respects, but they did so privately.

Michelle Obama, Melania Trump and the Clintons attended a tribute service for Rosalynn Carter in Atlanta on Nov. 28, 2023. It isn’t clear if Obama will speak at President Carter’s funeral.
Bill Clinton, 78, was recently discharged from a Washington, D.C. hospital after being treated for the flu.
While the world mourns President Carter, Black southerners are divided over Carter’s legacy.

While he was in office, Carter never reined in his redneck brother “Billy Beer” Carter, who died in 1988 from pancreatic cancer at age 51.
Carter, who pronounced his first name “Jim-muh”, adored his younger brother, and made public appearances with him as president. Carter also campaigned for Billy during his brother’s failed run for mayor.

Billy promoted his good ol’ boy network on television shows and talk shows. His glorification of the redneck lifestyle rubbed Black people the wrong way.
It was difficult to believe that 2 brothers grew up in the same household, but only one turned out to be an unrepentant redneck.
Rumors are swirling that Nicki Minaj is pregnant with twins at age 42. Nicki and her husband Kenneth Petty, 46, share a son nicknamed Papa Bear, born Sept. 30, 2020.
The pregnancy rumors have not been confirmed or denied. Nicki last updated her X (Twitter) account on December 2nd. The reason for her absence from social media is unknown.
Nicki’s fans note that she announced a new album release for 2025 and a world tour in 2026. That gives her enough time to give birth and spend time with her three children before returning to the studio.

One fan wrote: “THAT EXPLAINS WHY SHE’S ON A HAITUS.”
Another fan wrote: “Nicki is really pregnant and they not gonna like it.”
A third person noted: “oh it might be true she said on Mamita “had my son now lemme go have my daughter tho.”
Nicki is considered one of the most influential female rappers of all time. The Trinidadian rapper is best known for her hit songs “Moment 4 Life”, “Starships”, “Super Bass”, “Anaconda”, “Your Love”, “Right Thru Me”, and “Super Freaky Girl.”
Her 2010 debut album, Pink Friday, went 4x platinum and had seven singles reach the Billboard’s Hot 100 at the same time. Her follow up album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, was released in 2012.
Before she was famous, Nicki was fired from a Red Lobster restaurant for being rude to the customers.
Rapper Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) may be deprived of his hair dye if he is jailed in the near future. Inmates are allowed to use hair products such as shampoos, but they can not use hair dye.
At age 55, Jay-Z‘s hair is almost completely grey. He reportedly uses Bigen hair dye to darken his roots.
Jay-Z is desperate to avoid jail time if a judge orders him to take a DNA test to prove the paternity of a 31-year-old man.
Rymir Satterthwaite believes he might be Jay-Z’s illegitimate son and that his mom was underage when she gave birth to him. Rymir says his mom was only 16 when she slept with Jay-Z. The age of consent is 17 in New York.
Legal experts say Judge Analisa Torres might order the rap mogul to take the DNA test if it will prove that he fathered a child with a minor when he was in his 20s.

Earlier this month an Alabama woman filed an amended lawsuit naming Jay-Z as her attacker alongside Sean Combs, who is in a Brooklyn jail awaiting trial.
On Thursday, the judge allowed accuser Jane Doe to proceed anonymously with her lawsuit. The judge rebuked Jay-Zs lawyer, Alex Spiro, for filing “combative motions” to get the case dismissed.
“Carter’s lawyer’s relentless filing of combative motions containing inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks is inappropriate, a waste of judicial resources, and a tactic unlikely to benefit his client,” the order read. “The Court will not fast-track the judicial process merely because counsel demands it.”

The order continued: “Since Carter’s attorney first appeared in this case seventeen days ago, he has submitted a litany of letters and motions attempting to impugn the character of Plaintiff’s lawyer, many of them expounding on the purported ‘urgency’ of this case.”
“Although Carter’s attorney assails Plaintiff’s lawyer as having a ‘chronic inability to follow the rules,’ the order continued, “Carter’s counsel has failed to abide by this Court’s clear rules.
The judge’s order means Jay-Z must prepare to go to trial or settle with his accuser out of court.
Jane Doe is represented by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee.
Buzbee told CNN via email on Thursday, “The coordinated and desperate efforts to attack me as counsel for alleged victims are falling flat.”
Simone Biles show her unconditional love and affection for her husband, Jonathan Owens, by wearing his photos on her clothes. But some fans say she’s taken her devotion for Jonathan a step too far.
The Olympic gymnast divided some fans by wearing custom outfits covered with pictures of Jonathan. Simone turned heads when she arrived at Chicago’s Soldier Field stadium on Thursday, wearing a custom jogging suit honoring Jonathan.
Chicago Bears fans rated Simone Biles‘ outfit from “ugly” to a “terrible fit.” One fan said they couldn’t believe Simone paid someone to make the outfit.
Earlier this month, Simone wore a pair of grey sweatpants with her husband’s name emblazoned across the front.
Sports writers refer to Jonathan as a “journeyman” player. That means Jonathan is not elite enough to sign a multiple-year deal, so he journeys from one team to the next.
Jonathan went undrafted in 2018, but he was picked up by the Arizona Cardinals. He was waived after suffering an injury. Jonathan was signed by four NFL teams in 5 years. He has been waived (let go) by three of those teams for various reasons.
? SIMONE BILES STUNS IN CUSTOM OUTFIT
The Olympic legend rocked a bold Jonathan Owens-inspired look while cheering on her husband during the Bears-Seahawks game.
Simone wants the fans to know that NFL teams may not value her husband, but he is everything to her. Not many people would know who Jonathan was if it weren’t for his supportive wife.

Rapper OG Maco was taken off life support on Thursday. He died surrounded by his family, Complex.com confirmed on Friday. He was 32.
OG Maco, real name Benedict Ihesiba Jr., was hospitalized in Los Angeles earlier this month after shooting himself in the head. Police sources tell TMZ they responded to a 911 call at 10 am on December 12, after a neighbor heard a gunshot go off inside a home.
OG Maco passed away last night surrounded by family in Los Angeles.
Police found Maco inside the house unresponsive. The College Park, Georgia native never regained consciousness. Sources say he shot himself in the eye.
Maco is best known for his 2014 debut single “U Guessed It”, which spawned a remix featuring 2 Chainz.
He was part of XXL magazine’s 2015 annual Freshman Class.
The troubled rapper had at least one prior suicide attempt. He nearly lost an eye in a serious car crash in 2016.
In 2019, he was diagnosed with the flesh-eating disease necrotizing fasciitis, that left part of his face disfigured. He suffered from clinical depression as a result.
