An Indiana Uber driver confessed to abducting, raping and killing Chanti Dixon, 30, who went missing on Sunday, Sept. 8.

Dixon’s body was found on Sept. 9 in a wooded area, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Chief Chris Bailey said at a press briefing on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

The mother-of-two was reported missing on Monday when she didn’t return home from work the day before.

Chief Bailey said Dixon ordered an Uber around 3:30 a.m. Sunday to take her home from work. On Monday, police responded to a 911 report of a dead body in the woods in a residential area of Indianapolis.

The body was identified as Dixon, police said. She had been raped and shot in the head.

Police said 2 cell phones belonging to Dixon were found near her body.

Detectives began their investigation by contacting Francisco Valadez, the 29-year-old Uber driver who picked Dixon up from work early Sunday.

He reportedly told police that after he dropped Dixon off, a man attempted to rob her.

Police said Valadez gave conflicting stories during his interrogation. He eventually confessed to shooting Dixon in the head after trying to have sex with her in the backseat of his car, police said.

Valadez also told police Dixon said something to him that made him angry.

Assistant Police Chief Catherine Cummings said Dixon’s death is an isolated incident.

“As a woman, this hits differently for me,” she said at Tuesday’s press conference. “Women, girls, mothers have a right to exist freely in our community without fear of something heinous happening to them.”

Valadez has been charged with one count of murder. More criminal charges are expected.

Kendrick Lamar uses random eBay listing photo as cover for his new song

Kendrick Lamar is going viral for using an eBay listing photo as the cover of his new song. The photo shows a pair of black, gently used Air Force 1 sneakers on sale for $70.

Apparently, Kendrick liked the photo so much that he used it as the cover for his new song “Time to Watch the Party Die.”

The song dropped on Wednesday, and many believe it’s another Drake diss track.

“Time to Watch the Party Die” is Kendrick’s first new song since “Not Like Us.”

“Not Like Us” became Kendrick’s biggest hit. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 in May. It also topped Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs list.

Kendrick made headlines last week when he announced he will be performing during halftime at the Super Bowl in New Orleans in February 2025.

His announcement sparked outrage among fans who say New Orleans native Lil Wayne should have been considered over a West Coast rapper who is not well-known outside of hip-hop circles.

Lil Wayne is crossover mega superstar who is known around the world.

Many rappers, including New Orleans natives Master P and Juvenile, questioned the NFL and Jay Z’s role in booking Kendrick to perform.

But Kendrick is unbothered by the outrage.

“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one,” he said.

Most people don’t remember the last time Kendrick performed at the Super Bowl in 2022. His halftime performance in 2025 will be his first solo Super Bowl gig.

President Biden Shocks Democrats by Wearing Trump MAGA Hat

President Joe Biden shocked the Democratic Party when he wore a Trump MAGA 2024 hat after attending a 9/11 remembrance ceremony in Pennsylvania.

The incident occurred Wednesday, Sept. 11, while Biden visited with firefighters at a firehouse in Shanksville. Biden took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the town’s 9/11 memorial site for United Airlines Flight 93. The airliner crashed in a field near Shanksville after it was hijacked by terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001.

Cell phone video captured Biden putting on a resident’s red cap with the words “TRUMP 2024” on the front.

“Can I see that hat?” Biden asked a man. “You want my autograph?” the man asked Biden. “Hell no,” Biden responded, as other village residents laughed.

The man handed his hat to Biden as residents yelled, “Put it on!”

“I ain’t going that far,” Biden said. Seconds later, he put the Trump hat on, as residents cheered, “There it is!”

“I’m proud of you now, you old fart,” said the hat owner. “What?” asked Biden, seemingly confused by what the man called him.

A Secret Service agent — who was well aware of the bad optics of the MAGA hat — stepped forward.

Another Secret Service agent crossed in front of the camera as the video ended.

The video quickly went viral online. Democrats tried to discredit the video as an AI-generated fake. But the White House confirmed the video’s authenticity.

White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates immediately launched into damage control mode. He tweeted on Wednesday:

“At the Shanksville Fire Station, @POTUS spoke about the country’s bipartisan unity after 9/11 and said we needed to get back to that. As a gesture, he gave a hat to a Trump supporter who then said that in the same spirit, POTUS should put on his Trump cap. He briefly wore it.”

Republicans claim Biden put on the cap as a diss toward his Vice President Kamala Harris, who debated former President Donald Trump on Tuesday night.

“At this point even Joe Biden is voting for President Trump,” joked Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis on X (formerly Twitter).

Sean Combs Accused of Sexual Abuse by Danity Kane Singer Dawn Richard

Singer/songwriter Dawn Richard, formerly of Danity Kane, is accusing Sean Combs of sexually assaulting her. Richard is the eighth person to file a lawsuit against the media mogul for sexual assault.

In court documents, obtained by TMZ, the former Diddy-Dirty Money singer alleges Combs sexually assaulted her and harassed her.

Richard, 41, accused Combs of years of abuse and mistreatment when she was his bandmate in the group Diddy-Dirty Money. She also alleges Combs psychologically terrorized her over the years.

Richard claims Combs grabbed her multiple times and threatened her life more than once.

She said he abused her and other contestants during on-set auditions for his 2004 MTV show “Making The Band.” Richard said Combs called female contestants “fat,” “ugly,” “bitches” and “hoes.”

The singer said Combs had a particular disdain for her because she was young and eager to work with him.

Richard claims she witnessed Combs abusing both his deceased partner Kim Porter (pictured with him in 2004) and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

Richard and Combs, 54, collaborated most recently on his The Love Album.

Cassie Ventura sued Combs in November 2023 for sexual assault and harassment. He quickly settled the next day for a reported $30 million.

Combs vigorously denied the allegations in a statement through his attorney on Wednesday.

Attorney Erica Wolff tells TMZ, “Mr. Combs is shocked and disappointed by this lawsuit. In an attempt to rewrite history, Dawn Richard has now manufactured a series of false claims all in hopes of trying to get a pay day — conveniently timed to coincide with her album release and press tour.”

Statement from Tyrese Gibson: ‘I Was Detained, Not Arrested’

Tyrese Gibson says he was detained for less than two hours after he showed up at the Fulton County courthouse for a child support hearing on Sept. 9.

In a statement to Sandrarose.com on Wednesday, Sept. 11, Tyrese said he was “released immediately after the great work of my attorney, Tanya Mitchell Graham’s Notice of Intent to Appeal was filed into the Clerk’s Office minutes after the Judge’s ruling.”

Tyrese was previously ordered to pay his ex-wife, Samantha Lee, $10,000 a month for his 6-year-old daughter, Soraya.

Tyrese insisted he never stopped paying child support for his children. He is also dad to 17-year-old daughter Shayla Gibson by his first wife, Norma.

“I have always supported both my daughters beyond any court mandate,” he said. “Although there has been confusion regarding various custody and child support issues, I am currently home and there is no other litigation besides the appeal we filed last year, and the appeal filed yesterday.”

Once again, Tyrese promised to stay off social media. If you recall, he “retired” from social media last week. But his retirement didn’t last long.

“I will be staying off social media to focus on my family and will allow my legal team to manage the judicial process. I am confident we will prevail in the end,” Tyrese said in his statement on Wednesday.

The 45-year-old singer/actor said he and many parents face “systemic injustices that cause emotional and financial strains.” Tyrese said his personal experience with the system has demonstrated “the urgent need for reform. My goal is to raise awareness and push for legislative reforms to support families better.”

He continued:

“Many fathers and mothers, including myself, face significant biases in the family court system. Men striving to be present fathers are often penalized rather than supported. This is a significant issue in Black and Brown communities, and I deeply sympathize with those navigating this system without financial resources. Court biases can lead to unfair outcomes, widening the justice gap we see today.

Children suffer immensely when parents are incarcerated over child support, facing emotional distress, financial instability, educational disruptions, and long-term psychological impacts. These issues emphasize the necessity for change.

My mission is to provide support, resources, and a voice for affected parents. I will continue to advocate for a fair child support system that prioritizes children’s best interests and respects the rights of both parents. Together, we can strive for a more balanced and empathetic justice system.

My daughters and my career are my focus right now, and I will not be commenting further on this matter in any forum.

Thank you for standing by me. With gratitude, God bless!

Shannon Sharpe is trending on X (formerly Twitter) when his phone accidentally recorded a booty call session in his bedroom. We know its his bedroom because the floor (which is all you see in the video) matches the hardwood floor at his house.

Immediately after the video went viral, Shannon claimed his account was hacked. He claims that’s not him getting his freak on with a woman who seems to be enjoying their workout session.

Shannon wrote: “Beware my [account] Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I are working vigorously to figure this out.

Shannon’s team has already taken action to scrub most of the copies of the video on X.com. But there are still a few videos floating around.

The video link below probably won’t be active for long.

Shannon is 56-years-old and apparently has a lot of stamina. The woman he was with sounds very young.

Be careful Shannon. Kevin Samuels’ heart gave out while he was on top of a young woman.

The bright side is the video will help to silence the ghey rumors about Shannon.

Anyway, check out the video and the responses to the video below.

Gayle King Says She Ate Custard Pie That Was Delivered to Her Half-Eaten

Gayle King said she placed an order for a custard pie, but it was delivered to her half-eaten.

On Tuesday, the CBS Mornings host shared the story on the air. She recalled ordering a slice of coconut custard pie with a creamy egg custard filling from a local restaurant.

King said the pie was delivered half-eaten and she was so hungry that she finished eating it. But before she ate it, she took a picture and sent it to the restaurant.

“I sent this picture to the company to complain about how it arrived,” she said. “I wondered if it had been eaten or maybe just jostled during delivery because it was such a mess.”

She captioned the message, “Was this slice of coconut custard creme pie delivered to @gayleking half-eaten or jostled?”

“The company said they were mortified – and I’m not saying the name of the company because I really like them” King explained.

King said the company told her, “Gayle, it looks like someone ate half the pie… I think it might be your doorman.'”

But King denied the claim that her doorman ate her food. Instead, she chose to believe that it had been “jostled during delivery.”

When asked what she did with the half-eaten pie, King confessed, “I ate it.”

“I did not think it had been eaten,” King said. “I honest to God thought it may have been jostled until I started asking people,” she added.

Halle Berry ‘saddened’ that she’s the only biracial actress to win Best Actress Oscar Award

Halle Berry opened up about her sadness at being the only biracial actress to win the Best Actress Academy Award.

Halle told Marie Claire magazine, “I’m continually saddened by that year after year.”

The mom-of-2 became the first woman of color to win the coveted trophy for her role as a struggling widow in the 2001 movie Monster’s Ball.

In her acceptance speech, Halle dedicated her achievement to the trailblazing actresses who opened the doors for her to walk through.

“This moment is so much bigger than me,” she said through tears. “This moment is for Dorothy Dandridge, Lena Horne, Diahann Carroll… And it’s for every nameless and faceless woman of color that now has a chance because this door tonight has been opened.”

Now, 22 years later, Halle is “miffed” that no other actress of color has won the Best Actress Award.

MEGA/WENN

“I’m still eternally miffed that no Black woman has come behind me for that best actress Oscar. I’m continually saddened by that year after year. And it’s certainly not because there has been nobody deserving.”

Halle pointed to actress Andra Day in The United States vs. Billie Holiday and Viola Davis in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom as examples of elite Black actresses who were snubbed by the Academy.

Still, Halle says she is proud that being the “first” woman of color to win the award made the industry moe accepting of Black actresses.

“Would I rather have awards or a kickass, robust, soaring career as a Black woman? I’d take the kickass, soaring career over an award any day,” she said.

Even though Halle identifies as Black, she was born to a white mother and a Black father. She has been estranged from her father since childhood.

Beyonce Covers GQ Magazine and Styles Her Hair

Bryce Anderson for GQ

Beyonce graces the October 2024 cover of GQ magazine. The 43-year-old pop singer rarely gives interviews, so her fans are in for a treat.

The mom-of-three discussed a wide range of topics, including Blue Ivy taking the stage during her tour, the inspiration behind her Cowboy Carter album, and slavery.

ShotByJuliann / BACKGRID

On the connection between Cowboy Carter and her SirDavis Whiskey brand:

“The cowboy is a symbol of strength and aspiration in America. The cowboy was named after slaves who handled the cows. The word cowboy comes from those who were called boys, never given the respect they deserved. No one would dare call a Black man handling cows “Mister” or “Sir.” For me, SirDavis is a sign of earned respect. We all deserve respect, especially when we give it.”

On the lack of visuals for Cowboy Carter:

“I thought it was important that during a time where all we see is visuals, that the world can focus on the voice. The music is so rich in history and instrumentation. It takes months to digest, research, and understand. The music needed space to breathe on its own. Sometimes a visual can be a distraction from the quality of the voice and the music. The years of hard work and detail put into an album that takes over four years! The music is enough. The fans from all over the world became the visual. We all got the visual on tour. We then got more visuals from my film.”

On her children:

“Raising three kids isn’t easy. The older they get, the more they become their own individuals with unique needs, hobbies, and social lives. My twins are God-sent. Parenting constantly teaches you about yourself. It takes a lot of prayer and patience. I love it. It’s grounding and fulfilling.

My kids come with me everywhere I go. They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me. They are in dance rehearsals. It’s natural that they would learn my choreography.”

Kevin Mazur/WireImage

On Blue Ivy taking the stage during her Renaissance Tour:

“Blue is an artist. She has great taste in music and fashion. She is a fantastic editor, painter, and actress. She has been creating characters since she was three. She’s a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage. Blue wanted it for herself. She took it seriously and she earned it. And most importantly, she had fun! We all watched her grow more and more every night before our eyes.”

On her mental health and working herself too hard:

“I am proud of what I have been able to do, but I also recognize the sacrifices—mine and my family’s. There was a time when I was pushing myself to meet unrealistic deadlines, while not taking the time to enjoy the benefits of why I was working so hard. There aren’t many of us from the late ’90s who were taught to focus on mental health. Back then, I had little boundaries, and said yes to everything. But I’ve paid my dues a hundred times over. I have worked harder than anyone I know. And now I work smarter. In the end, the biggest reward is personal joy. Has what I created pushed others to think freely and believe in the impossible? If the answer to that question is yes, then that is the gift.”

On Sunday, Beyonce flaunted her micro extensions in a new video for her CÉCRED haircare line. Micro extensions are a very expensive, painstaking process. So they’d better hold up under the abuse of frequent hair washing and blow drying.
