Republican and Democratic governors took a stand when President Trump uninvited two Democratic governors – including the nation’s only sitting Black governor, Wes Moore, from the annual National Governor’s Association dinner.

The exclusions are seen as yet another attack against Democrats by President Trump.

The NGA black-tie dinner is hosted annually by the president at the White House. Which means the president gets to decide who is invited.

White governors from the Republican and Democratic parties took a stand when Trump uninvited Maryland Governor Wes Moore, who is Black, and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis from the dinner.

It isn’t clear why Trump decided to ban 2 Democrat governors from the White House dinner.

Gov. Moore suggested his race may be a factor in his exclusion from the upcoming dinner.

“It’s not lost on me that I’m the only Black governor in this country, and I find that to be particularly painful, considering the fact that the president is trying to exclude me from an organization that not only my peers have asked me to help to lead, but then also a place where I know I belong in,” Moore said in an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Other Democratic governors who were invited have declined their invitations, according to The Root.

“I ain’t going,” Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear told “The View” hosts on Monday, Feb. 9. He added, “If he’s not going to invite us to the business section, I’m not going to go to dinner, the social section. You know, my job is to get things done for our people, and so they will be without me.”

Beshear added: “This should concern everyone.”

The White House said in a statement:

“Many Democrats were invited to dinner at the White House, and others were not. These are White House events and the President reserves the right to invite whomever he wants.”

The NGA meetings and White House dinner will take place Feb. 19-21.

GloRilla’s sister, Victoria Woods, aka “ScarFace,” says she made $200,000 in 1 week and her “network” (net worth) will be $1 million in 5 weeks. She said her prices are going up.

In a post on Instagram, she wrote: “Made 200K this week. My network will be 1m in the next 5 weeks. Prices going up. Promos, interviews, etc. DM me now.”

ScarFace went viral last week after she accused her famous sister of refusing to support her mother and 9 siblings.

She said her mom was forced to work at FedEx to make ends meet.

During a Facebook Live stream, GloRilla and her parents addressed ScarFace’s accusations directly.

Victoria, a struggling rapper, said their mom still punches a clock at FedEx to make ends meet.

“Y’all favorite rapper ain’t sh*t and I’m getting tired of it,” ScarFace said. She claimed she was so hungry she ate roaches for lunch.

ScarFace said a $2,500 gift from her sister would help her financial situation. Now she’s rolling in cash from doing promos and interviews on social media.

GloRilla called her parents and went live with them to dispute ScarFace’s allegations.

Kimora Lee Simmons is refusing to move out of her $25 million Beverly Hills mansion that was bought with stolen money.

The 50-year-old entrepreneur and reality TV personality lived in the home with her ex-husband, Tim Leissner, who purchased the house with money he stole from 1MDB — a Malaysian sovereign wealth fund.

The lavish, 7-bedroom, 9-bath mansion can be seen on Kimora’s new reality TV series, “Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane.”

She claims her ex-husband – a former Goldman Sachs banker – sold the house without her permission. The new owners want to take possession of the home – but Kimora says she’s not leaving.

In 2022, Leissner testified under oath that he bought the property with $25 million that he stole from the Malaysian people.

His former Goldman Sachs colleague, Roger Ng, is serving a 10-year prison sentence for his role in the fraud.

But the mastermind of the fraud, a Wharton dropout named Jho Low is currently a fugitive on the run.

Low maintains his innocence but he surrendered around $700 million in assets to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who was gifted millions of dollars in art and property by Low, surrendered paintings by Picasso and Basquiat worth a combined $12.2 million to the DOJ.

DiCaprio also turned over to the U.S. government Marlon Brando’s Oscar Award worth $600,000 that was given to him by Low.

Prosecutors say ex-NFL linebacker Darron Lee beat and butchered his girlfriend in every room of his Ooltewah, Tennessee home.

Lee, 31, was taken into custody on February 5 at his residence on the 7500 block of Snow Cone Way in Ooltewah, near Chattanooga. He faces charges of murder and evidence tampering

A judge denied bail for Lee during a bond hearing on Wednesday. Prosecutors will seek the death penalty, WTVC reported.

Chilling details revealed the savagery inflicted on Gabriella Perpétuo by Lee. Prosecutors described the horrific scene in the house – including “blood in just about every room.”

Perpétuo was topless and died from blunt force trauma, severe brain trauma, a broken neck, and large bite marks on her shoulder and thigh, according to an autopsy obtained by the New York Post.

She also had stab wounds to her legs and significant injuries to her face.

“The scene was in disarray,” Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Detective Brian Lockhart testified on Wednesday.

“There was blood going up the staircase, on the hand railing. There was blood on the walls. There was blood on the floor in the living room. There was blood on the floor, on the hallway and the stairs,” Lockhart said.

He described a shattered microwave in the kitchen, and broken booze bottles scattered in the home. Detectives discovered cleaning supplies upstairs, including bleach wipes and a spray bottle.

Lee is being held at the Hamilton County jail without bond.

He was previously charged with assault and domestic violence in 2023.

He allegedly pushed a woman “against the wall, throwing her to the floor and striking her face and head 8 to 9 times with his closed fists,” according to Tennessee’s News 9.

Lee was the New York Jets’ first-round draft pick in 2016.

He also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. The standout linebacker at Ohio State was named defensive MVP of the 2015 Sugar Bowl.

Moussa Diabaté says NBA teams don’t respect the Hornets

Moussa Diabaté allegedly said NBA teams are targeting the Charlotte Hornets after a zesty video showed him flirting with teammate LaMelo Ball.

The video sparked rumors that the 2 teammates are a romantic item off the court.

The clip went viral on social media after the Hornets defeated the Washington Wizards 119-115 on Jan. 24.

LaMelo, 24, hiked up his jersey as he apparently flirted with Moussa, also 24, after the game.

Now sources say Moussa has to prove his manhood to NBA players because NBA teams don’t respect the Hornets.

During the Hornets vs Detroit Pistons game on Monday, Moussa exploded in a rage after Pistons center Jalen Duren pushed him in the face and called him a gay slur, which sparked a bench-clearing brawl.

The fight ended with four ejections and possible suspensions for Moussa, Jalen and other NBA players.

During a post-interview, Moussa admitted he overreacted. He said he was remorseful and apologized to the organization and the fans.

But sources say Moussa is upset that other NBA teams consider the Hornets as soft since that video of him and LaMelo went viral.

“I fouled him, got into each other’s face, which is fine, it’s basketball,” Moussa said after the incident. “It got completely different when he put his hand in my face, and I lost control of my emotions. When he put his hand in my face, I think that’s when I kind of lost control of it. Obviously, it shouldn’t have happened.”

When asked about the incident, Jalen said, “Just an overly competitive game, emotions flaring. At the end of the day, we would love to keep it basketball, but things happen.”

An Olympic medalist made an emotional plea to his ex-girlfriend after winning a bronze medal at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.

Norwegian biathlete Sturla Holm Lægreid broke down in tears, saying he gave up a “gold medal in life” after cheating on his girlfriend.

Lægreid, 28, didn’t name his girlfriend, but he wants her to know he’s ready to commit “social suicide” to win her back.

“Six months ago I met the love of my life. The world’s most beautiful, sweetest person. And three months ago I made the biggest mistake of my life and cheated on her,” Laegreid said in an interview that was translated to English.

He said his girlfriend broke up with him after he admitted he was unfaithful.

“I’m sure many people now see me in a different light, but I only have eyes for her,” he said. “I’m not quite sure what I’m trying to say by saying this now, but sport has taken a back seat in recent days. I wish I could share this with her.”

Lægreid is ready to risk it all to win her back.

“I’m not ready to give up. I hope that committing social suicide might show her how much I love her. I accept the consequences of what I’ve done. I regret it with all my heart. Maybe I’m dumb as a rock. I’m a member of Mensa, but I still do stupid stuff.”

A “person of interest” who was detained in the Nancy Guthrie case late Tuesday, said he was questioned after he delivered a FedEx package to her house the day she went missing.

The FedEx package is seen tucked behind a pillar in a Fox News video recorded the day after the mother of “Today” show anchor Savannah Guthrie was reported missing.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen on Jan. 31, when she was dropped off at her $1 million Tucson area home by daughter, Annie Guthrie, and son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni.

A church friend reported Nancy missing on Sunday, Feb. 1.

The FedEx driver, who asked to be identified only as “Carlos,” spoke to ABC15 News moments after his release from custody early Wednesday.

Carlos said his wife was driving when their car was surrounded by law enforcement. “I got out of the car, and they arrested me,” he said. “They told me I was being detained for kidnapping. I asked them, ‘kidnapping of who?'” Carlos said he had never heard of Nancy Guthrie before. “Never until today. Supposedly, I was at her house, but I never kidnapped anybody.”

After detaining Carlos, a SWAT team broke down his mother-in-law’s front door in Rio Ricos and confiscated the family’s electronic devices.

Carlos said he was detained for several hours until detectives arrived to question him.

“They didn’t even tell me what’s going on until the detectives got here”, he told ABC15. When a detective asked if he’d kidnapped anyone, Carlos responded with a laugh, saying, “No.” Police later told him, he was “free to go,” though he was told the FBI might contact him again.

Carlos is not the masked person seen in B&W surveillance images and videos released by FBI Director Kash Patel on Tuesday.

The video shows a feminine individual wearing a ski mask tampering with a Nest doorbell camera at Nancy Guthrie’s home on Jan. 31.

The person wore a backpack, black latex gloves and carried a gun in a holster on their belt.

San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White (right) was shot after arguing with rapper Lil Baby at a post-Super Bowl party early Monday.

Keion, 27, was shot in the ankle at a strip club in San Francisco after watching his former team, the New England Patriots lose to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 60.

Keion hosted a Super Bowl after-party upstairs at Dahlia Lounge in San Francisco. Rapper Lil Baby and his entourage attended another party downstairs.

A heated argument ensued when Lil Baby and his crew attempted to gain entry to Keion’s party, but they were denied.

As Keion argued with Lil Baby, someone fired at least 4 gunshots, striking Keion once in the ankle.

He underwent surgery to remove the bullet on Monday at a local hospital. Police say Keion is not cooperating in the investigation. There were no suspects in custody as of Wednesday morning.

Evidence of at least two different types of ammunition were found at the scene.

Police are trying to determine Lil Baby’s involvement in the shooting.

“Our officers are working diligently on this investigation, and we’re following multiple leads,” Evan Sernoffsky, of the SFPD, told NBC’s Bay Area affiliate.

The 49ers issued a statement on Monday: “Keion White was a victim of a shooting and sustained a bullet wound to his ankle this morning in San Francisco. He is currently undergoing surgery at a local hospital. We will provide further updates when appropriate.”

A man who was detained in the Nancy Guthrie missing person case was released overnight without charges.

The FBI detained a “person of interest” during a traffic stop in Rio Rico, Arizona late Tuesday night. A “tip” from the public triggered heavy law enforcement activity at a small frame home in Rio Rico, Arizona.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office said the man was being questioned in the disappearance of “Today” show anchor Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie.

The man’s mother-in-law said police broke down her front door without a warrant and seized all phones and electronic devices in the home.

The man was released early Wednesday without charges.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen on Jan. 31, when she was dropped off at her $1 million Tucson, Arizona home after having dinner with daughter, Annie Guthrie, and son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni.

On Tuesday, the FBI released photos and videos of a masked suspect tampering with a doorbell camera at Nancy Guthrie’s residence on January 31.

The sheriff’s office stated there are “multiple suspects” in the case.

Ransom notes were sent to gossip blog TMZ and a local Tucson news station demanding $6 million for Nancy’s safe return. The ransom notes were dismissed by law enforcement as not relevant to the case.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported “activity” in a Bitcoin wallet linked to the ransom note. At least $300 was deposited into the wallet, according to the outlet.

Veteran homicide investigator Paul Ciolino says he believes Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping was staged.

“I don’t think she was kidnapped,” Ciolino said in a livestream video. He noted that the alleged kidnappers never provided proof of life to the family before the deadline passed on Monday.

Savannah Guthrie released a third video on Monday pleading for help from the public.

“We are at an hour of desperation, and we need your help,” she said in the video.

Judge Rules Former NBA Player Can’t Return to Alabama University

An Alabama Circuit Court judge ruled a former NBA player is not eligible to return to Alabama University for NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) money.

Judge Daniel Pruet denied Alabama basketball player Charles Bediako’s motion to allow him to play for the rest of the season.

A temporary restraining order allowed the former NBA G League player to join the Alabama Crimson Tide in the middle of the season.

The 23-year-old center averaged 10 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in five games for Alabama.

NCAA eligibility rules allows players who already graduated from college to continue playing. But critics say the eligibility rules come at the expense of high school athletes.

NCAA President Charlie Baker said the judge’s ruling was a “common sense” decision.

“Common sense won a round today,” Baker said. “The court saw this for what it is: an attempt by professionals to pivot back to college and crowd out the next generation of students. College sports are for students, not for people who already walked away to go pro and now want to hit the ‘undo’ button at the expense of a teenager’s dream. While we’re glad the court upheld the rules our members actually want, one win doesn’t fix the national mess of state laws. It’s time for Congress to stop watching from the sidelines and help us provide some actual stability.”

Athletes who continue to play after graduating from college include Miami University quarterback Carson Beck, 23, who graduated from the University of Georgia 2 years ago.

Carson earned $3 million in NIL money at the University of Miami in 2025.
