The L.A. County medical examiner announced 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez suffered multiple stab wounds that caused her death.

Celeste’s arms, legs, and two of her fingers were amputated with a sharp instrument, according to the M.E.

Singer D4vd, 21, is charged with the teen’s murder. He is being held without bond at the L.A. County Men’s Jail.

Celeste’s remains were discovered in 2 black bags in the trunk of a Tesla Y that was registered to D4vd. He was on tour at the time of the discovery on September 8, 2025. The car had been towed to a police impound lot in West Hollywood.

New details have emerged about D4vd’s life behind bars.

According to TMZ, D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, spends his days in a segregation cell away from the general population for his safety. He has no money on his books, and he is allowed to shower every other day.

He is allowed recreation time outside for 3 hours per week. He does not have access to reading material or a television. He can use the phone only on his shower days.

Studies have shown showering every day is not necessary and may not be healthy. Human skin is loaded with good bacteria that protects us from bad bacteria. Showering daily disrupts the microbiome (good bacteria on our skin) that keeps us healthy.

Showering several times a week with gentle soap is enough to maintain hygiene and control body odor.

Other inmates who have been housed at the men’s central jail include Blueface, Tory Lanez, Chrisean Rock, Suge Knight, the Menendez Brothers, Chris Brown, YG, and Danny Masterson.

The Jackson family clapped back after Michael Jackson’s biopic debuted with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 23%.

Michael’s nephew Taj Jackson (Tito Jackson’s son) tweeted:

“Sorry media, u don’t get to control the narrative anymore of who Michael Jackson truly was. The public gets to watch this movie… they will decide for themselves. And you can’t handle that.”

Taj’s brother, TJ, wrote: “I’m going to the theater in a few hours to see a movie I’ve seen several times. Why? Because I’m proud. I wouldn’t miss this opportunity to be masked in the electrifying energy that will be in that theater for nothing.”

“Michael” stars the late pop icon’s nephew Jaafar Jackson, the 29-year-old son of Jermaine Jackson, in the title role. Michael opens in theaters nationwide on Friday.

Critics bashed the film as “boring,” and “awful.”

But Michael’s fans plan to fill every seat at every theater on Friday.

Michael also stars Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, Colman Domingo as Joseph Jackson, and Larenz Tate as Motown Records founder Berry Gordy.

Juliano Krue Valdi plays young Michael Jackson. The movie documents the King of Pop’s journey from Gary Indiana as the 9-year-old lead singer of The Jackson 5 through his solo career as an adult.

The movie ends with a title card promising more to come.

Michael is tracking to open with $65-70 million in one day ticket sales and $85-$105 million in weekend sales.

Angel Reese complains to Michelle Obama: “Everything is not great. Every moment hasn’t been great”

Former First Lady Michelle Obama praised Angel Reese during an appearance on her IMO podcast.

Angel is still reeling after the Chicago Sky traded her to the Atlanta Dream after just 2 years of a 3-year contract.

“You are handling yourself beautifully,” Michelle Obama told Angel, 23. “It’s not just what you do, but the way you carry yourself, girl. I mean, it is really a joy to watch you manage it all, and you do it with a smile on your face, with an excellent attitude.”

“You’ve got your own pathway, and it is a difficult thing,” Michelle told her.

But Angel revealed all is not well in Atlanta.

“Everybody always asks me, like, are you all right? Like, yeah, I’m as all right as I can be. And everything is not great, but I try to wake up every day and just be grateful for every moment,” Angel said. “Every moment hasn’t been great, but I wouldn’t change this life for anything because I have had some really good moments and I don’t want bad moments to outshine the good… I try not to let the negative outshine the positive.”

By “negative,” Angel might be referring to the roasting she received from her Dream teammates at a recent press conference.

During her introduction press conference, Dream forward Rhyne Howard, 25, let Angel know she’s not impressed by her.

When asked what it was like playing against Angel in the past, Rhyne (pictured) said she scored easily on Angel.

“Anytime Angel’s been on the other side of the court, I think I had 30 [points],” Rhyne laughed.

Dream forward Naz Hillmon, 26, also took a shot at Angel.

“Angel’s annoying as hell…,” Naz told reporters. “It’s great that she’s on this side. We’ve obviously had our fair share of battles.”

It remains to be seen whether Angel can keep her mask from slipping in the locker room and on the court.

Time will tell if Angel wins over the rest of her teammates. Or whether she will be shipped off to another team next season.

Mel B gets candid about menopause: “All the Spice Girls have it’

Singer Melanie Brown, aka Mel B of the Spice Girls, opened up about her menopause symptoms. The middle-aged singer says she recently learned menopause caused her hot flashes and sudden onset of night sweats.

Mel B also experienced brain fog, short term memory loss, anxiety, and vaginal dryness.

“I’d be talking, I’d lose my train of thought,” Mel tells The New York Post. “I’d go into a room and think, ‘What have I come into this room for?’ And it was starting to really annoy me. I was starting to get quite worried.”

Most women begin perimenopause in their mid 40s to early 50s. Perimenopause is the transition into menopause, which signals the end of a woman’s menstruation.

Mel said she didn’t know that all women with a uterus will experience menopause. She attributes her way of thinking to a culture that avoids discussion of a woman’s change of life.

Women raised in other cultures aren’t even told about the change when they’re young.

“It was taboo… I don’t think that’s fair on women, because it’s not like, oh, 25% of women are gonna go [through it] – no, 100% of women, you’re gonna go through it.”

“So why are we not talking about it? Why are our doctors not educated more?” Mel asks.

She finally shared her symptoms with her bandmates, who are also going through the change.

“It’s like, ‘Oh, well, does anybody else have it?’ And [I] find out all the Spice Girls have it,” she explained.

The British girl group formed in 1994 with members Mel B, 50, Melanie C, 52, Emma Bunton, 50, Geri Halliwell, 53, and Victoria Beckham, 52. They’ve sold over 100 records, making them the best-selling girl group of all time.

Mel sought anti-aging treatment and partnered with Revive Collagen to promote their latest line of subscription menopause supplements.

The products are designed to combat hair thinning and brittle nails by supporting collagen production in the hair and nails.

“I don’t put my name to just anything,” she insists. “I tried it, and I was like, you’ve got to be kidding me. It’s brilliant.” She liked it so much, she says, she gave testers to the other Spice Girls.

Mel also works out at the gym with weight-training and cardio “because as you get older, our bone density needs that extra help.”

Rapper Xzibit Struggles to Pay $1 Million Tax Debt

Rapper Xzibit is in way over his head with tax debt and a hefty spousal support check to his estranged wife.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Xzibit owes the State of California more than $400,000 in back taxes. He also owes the IRS around $900,000. The total sum of the debt comes to around $1.3 million.

Additionally, Xzibit pays monthly spousal support checks to his estranged wife, Krista Joiner.

Xzibit’s financial records show that he earned $66,547 a month, while his average monthly expenses total around $23,566.

Krista makes around $12,843 a month. Xzibit argues that she can support herself on her income.

The former “Pimp My Ride” host has no significant assets. His monthly income is from touring and promotion for a new album, due next year. He says paying temporary spousal support to Krista has put him in a bind, and Krista shouldn’t be able to collect support from him after the divorce is final.

WENN.com

Xzibit and Krista married in November 2014 and separated in 2021. He filed for divorce in 2025. They share joint custody of a son, Gatlyn Joiner, born in 2010. Xzibit pays $5,145 per month in child support.

Attorneys for Xzibit tried to reach out to Krista multiple times about legally ending the marriage last year. But they didn’t hear back from her. So Xzibit filed to legally “bifurcate” their divorce, meaning separating his marital status from the divorce.

In April 2025, a judge granted the rapper’s request to be legally single – even though their divorce proceedings drag on.

Krista told the court she and their son were forced to move out of a 4-bedroom, 4-bath home because she couldn’t afford the $10,000 a month mortgage. She also couldn’t buy designer clothes and handbags anymore.

Krista argued she is entitled to the same lifestyle she enjoyed as the wife of Alvin Joiner, aka Xzibit.

NYC Mayor Mamdani Inspects Residents’ Apartments to Ensure They Are Safe

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani made personal visits to public housing residents to make sure their apartments are up to code.

Mamdani knocked on residents’ doors with HPD code enforcement inspectors and the fire department to inspect apartments and ensure they are safe.

A camera crew captured the mayor’s interactions with residents.

The Daily Wire called Mamdani’s visits “Soviet-style photo ops.” But the residents seemed appreciative that someone in City government cares about their safety.

Mamdani urged residents to call the 311 system if they have any complaints about their landlords. He promised to “hold landlords accountable” for every complaint.

The visits aligned with Mamdani’s war on “private slumlords” who accept monthly rents without addressing residents’ complaints.

During his campaign for mayor, Mamdani promised to protect New York City renters and improve maintenance needs for residents living in squalor and unsafe housing.

However, landlords warn that Mamdani’s efforts will lead to skyrocketing rent and decreased rental revenue, which will drive them into bankruptcy.

Mamdani and the inspectors found 6 maintenance issues in one building, which were forwarded to the landlord.

So far, residents are happy with the new mayor.

Mariah Carey Doesn’t Care About Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Snub

Mariah Carey is unbothered by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame leaving her off its induction list. Her fans don’t care either.

This year’s list includes Sade, Pink, Melissa Etheridge, Jeff Buckley, New Edition and the Wu-Tang Clan.

TMZ caught up with Mariah outside The Peninsula Hotel in New York City on Monday. The outlet asked Mariah for a response to the snub. Mariah shrugged and said “Who cares!”

Fans outside her SUV agreed. They said the Rock & Roll Hall is not worthy of the Queen of R&B and Pop.

They told her she is the prize and that the Hall disrespected her by not giving it to her. Mariah thanked them and made it clear she loves her fans always.

Mariah was nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2026 but she didn’t make the final list despite her 19 No. 1 hits and massive influence on pop and R&B.

Her fans say the Hall is not an authority on R&B music, and the Hall should get with the program and change the name to the Music Hall of Fame.

In January, Mariah was named MusiCares’ 2026 Person of the Year.

“I don’t call myself a legend,” she told Billboard at the time. “I’m just still working, still trying hard.”

“I’ve always worked really hard, because I knew that I wanted to be here for a long time. The one lesson I’ve learned is to just be true to yourself. And I was fortunate enough to be able to do that. There were some things along the way that weren’t ideal, you know, but here I am.”

Switching subjects, Mariah told TMZ she recently purchased a new home outside New York City after listing her NYC triplex penthouse for $27 million.

Outrage: Mike Vrabel gets a pass from NFL: “Ime Udoka was trending for weeks”

Mike Vrabel is under fire after the NFL declined to conduct an investigation into his cheating scandal with a married sports reporter.

Vrabel, the head coach of the New England Patriots, was seen in leaked photos holding hands and hugging former sports journalist Dianna Russini at an adults-only retreat in Arizona. Vrabel and Russini are married to other people.

They both denied any wrongdoing after Page Six leaked a private investigator’s photos of them frolicking in a hot tub together.

The private investigator was reportedly hired by Russini’s husband, Shake Shack executive Kevin Goldschmidt.

Russini resigned from her job with The Atlantic magazine. But Vrabel escaped unscathed, thanks to the NFL’s good old boy network.

At first he avoided speaking to the media. But on Tuesday, Vrabel broke his silence after the NFL announced no investigation into his infidelity. Vrabel won’t face any discipline.

“You know, I’ve had some difficult conversations with people that I care about – my family, the organization, the coaches, the players. Those have been positive and productive,” Vrabel said in a statement.

He half-apologized for making poor decisions and being a distraction to his team.

“We believe in order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me. We never want our actions to negatively affect the team. You never want to be the cause of a distraction.”

Sports journalist Jemele Hill questioned the double standard. She said Russini faced much harsher consequences than Vrabel.

“There is a clear difference in the level of scrutiny and judgment she’s receiving versus Mike Vrabel,” Hill wrote in a comment on X.com. “Her career will be over. Him … see him on the sidelines for Game 1.”

In another comment on X, Hill said, “it’s interesting to me how Dianna is bearing all the consequences and I also know that so many men in the business are completely compromised by cozy relationships.”

The backlash against Vrabel was swift on social media.

One person on X.com tweeted: “Ime Udoka was the trending topic for weeks. Mike Vrabel got a super pass.”

Udoka was suspended by the Boston Celtics for the entire 2022-23 season after his love affair with a co-worker was exposed. He eventually resigned.

The scandal caused his fiancée, Nia Long, to break off their engagement and end their 13-year relationship. They share a 14-year-old son named Kez Sunday Udoka. Udoka agreed to pay Nia $32,500 a month in child support.

Nia Long covers SELF Magazine: “The only strategy I have in this game is my bank account”

Nia Long recently sat down for a cover interview with SELF magazine. For the magazine’s cover, the 55-year-old actress wears a halo of blue feathers designed by Palomo Spain.

The interview touches on the long-awaited Michael Jackson biopic, “Michael,” in which Nia plays Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson.

“I think when you look at Michael’s journey, and you look at Katherine’s journey, the only way you thrive and survive is through a tremendous amount of grace.” Nia tells writer Zeba Blay. “What I think I learned from her is that sometimes grace is really quiet.”

ZUMAPRESS.com / MEGA

Zeba writes that Nia is intentional in the way she creates versions of her movie characters that seem true to her.

But Nia tells Zeba her focus is the money she’s paid to star in films.

“The only strategy I have in this game is my bank account. Let’s strategize how we’re going to make money and create generational wealth. That is where I’m strategic.”

She laughs, scratches her palm, and continues: “My hand just started itching the minute I said money. That’s a good thing. Maybe something’s happening. Something’s coming.”

ZUMAPRESS.com / MEGA

Getting serious, Nia adds: “I work hard to make sure that when I represent us, it’s not just someone putting their agenda on me. Whether it’s my hair, my makeup, my wardrobe, my lines.”

The subject switches to her sons, Massai Dorsey II, 25, and Kez Sunday Udoka, 14. She talks about a new film she’s just wrapped in New York, titled “Don’t Ever Wonder,” a romantic dramedy that’s three years in the making.

“This is not a continuation of Love Jones,” she emphasizes. “This is a continuation of love, and of what happens once you’ve had your kids, they’re off to college, and you’re empty nesters. And that’s kind of where the story begins. There’s a lot of funny and there’s a lot of heartbreak, and I think it’s a really honest story.”

The writer shares a personal story that connects with Nia. Zeba just ended a 12-year relationship – and Nia can relate.

Bruce Glikas/FilmMagic

Nia ended her 13-year relationship with Kez’s father, Ime Udoka, who cheated on her with a co-worker.

“Okay, but when was it really over?” Nia asks, suggesting relationships are over long before the break-up.

Nia says she now has a healthy coparenting relationship with Ime.

Image Press Agency / MEGA

“The amount of pouring into myself that I’ve done is strong and mighty and intentional. I’ve now identified the things that I need to work on and the things that I need to heal. But I have also identified what is intolerable,” she says.

“I’m proud of myself for giving so much grace. For being able to say people make mistakes and things happen. It’s life. When the stakes are high, the news is big. I can’t do anything about that, but I don’t have to protect my ego in any of this.”

Zeba writes: “She says all this very matter-of-factly, which is the only way she seems capable of saying things.”

Jaafar attended the premiere with his girlfriend Maddie Simpson. Jaafar cleared up a “misconception” that his famous uncle wanted to be white. “I would say that’s the big misconception,” Jaafar told Extra. He said the film explains that Michael was diagnosed with vitiligo, which turned his skin white.

Michael’s sister, La Toya Jackson, said her sister, Janet Jackson, “kindly declined” to be portrayed in the film. Janet skipped the Hollywood premiere and stayed home in London. She reportedly hated the movie and had something negative to say about every scene at a private screening.

Other stars attending the Michael premiere include Michael’s brothers Marlon and Jackie Jackson, Michael’s son Prince Jackson, Colman Domingo, Nia Long, Bobby Brown, Magic and Cookie Johnson, Prince Jackson, Vivica A. Fox, Tyrese Gibson, Smokey Robinson, Chance the Rapper, Usher Raymond, Tori Spelling, Niecy Nash, Raven-Symone, and many more.
