Tyler Perry’s legal team shared text messages that show his alleged s*xual battery accuser asked Tyler for money before filing his lawsuit.

Aspiring actor Mario Rodriguez, 40, was a bit actor in Tyler Perry’s “Boo! A Madea Halloween” in 2016.

Mario filed a lawsuit against Tyler last week, claiming the famed director made unwanted advances toward him and groped his genitals.

TMZ obtained text messages exchanged between Tyler and Mario.

In one text message, Mario says he hasn’t been feeling well because he needs dental care to treat an apparent infection.

Mario said he knows he promised not to ask Tyler for anything, but he doesn’t have insurance — and his Beverly Hills dentist is in prison. He said he’s worried about getting sepsis and dying like his father.

“feel sick most days,” Mario wrote. “never told anybody this but my mom and everybody is starting to notice my broke a–. Don’t have insurance.”

Other text messages from 2024 – years after the alleged incidents – Mario told Tyler he loved him and he thanked Tyler for everything.

“you got my Mexican a– out of a lot of bad places and I just wanna tell you thank you,” he wrote. “I can’t buy you anything, but I just wanna tell you that your boy right here appreciates you more than anything.”

Mario continued: “straight from the heart bro nothing I wouldn’t do for you man anyways enjoy your time and I hope I see you again soon.”

Tyler responded, “Happy Thanksgiving my friend. Yeap [sic] you’ve been through it. I’m glad you’re doing well. You don’t have to give me a thing or pay me a thing. I’m just glad you’re good.”

Mario replied: “I’m still going through it but you know me man I’m a survivor just like you are and I’m glad that you’re my friend and I love you bro respectfully.”

Mario filed the lawsuit against Tyler last week.

When Tyler found out that Mario planned to file the lawsuit, he texted the aspiring actor, reminding Mario of all he had done to help him and that he felt betrayed.

Mario claims he was first approached in 2014 by a trainer at an Equinox gym, where memberships cost $40,000 annually. The trainer said Tyler wanted Mario’s phone number to talk to him about an acting role.

After Mario was cast in the film, Tyler allegedly invited him to his home where Mario claims he was touched inappropriately. Mario claims he struggled with Tyler to get away and he stated that Tyler told him to “let it happen” and he would be “taken care of.”

The incidents allegedly occurred between 2014 and 2019. In one incident, Mario claims Tyler tried to unbuckle his pants and groped his genitals.

Mario claims Tyler paid him $5,000 on several occasions following the alleged incidents. Despite these incidents, Mario continued to visit Tyler’s home.

Mario discussed his allegations in a viral video that was viewed over 1 million times. He didn’t name Tyler, but some people guessed Tyler’s name in the comments.

“I stayed quiet for much too long,” Mario said in the video. “But I’m speaking up now.

Mario’s lawsuit is the second complaint filed against the filmmaker in 6 months.

Aspiring actor Derek Dixon, who appeared in “The Oval,” filed a similar lawsuit against Tyler in June.

A judge granted Tyler’s motion to move Derek’s lawsuit from California to Georgia where the alleged incidents occurred.

Additionally, a judge ruled that the statute of limitations for Derek to file the lawsuit against Tyler in Georgia had run out.

Tyler’s attorney, Alex Spiro, tells TMZ, “This is nothing but a 77 million dollar money grab scam.”

British heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua survived a fatal car crash in Nigeria on Monday.

Officials say Joshua, 36, was sitting in the backseat of a black Lexus SUV that collided with a truck on a highway near Lagos.

5 men were involved in the crash that killed two people.

Photos from the scene show the shirtless boxer being helped out of the back seat of the Lexus SUV. Broken glass and blood are on the backseat around Joshua.

Local officials say the two people who died were “male foreign nationals”.

“Joshua was seated behind the driver with another person behind him,” said an eyewitness to the crash. Another male sat beside the driver. Four male occupants were in the SUV.

Joshua’s close friends, Latz and Sina died in the crash. They were sitting on the passenger side of the SUV.

Sina was Joshua’s strength and conditioning coach, while Latz was Joshua’s personal trainer. They are seen with him in the videos below.

Speed contributed to the accident, officials said. A tire on the SUV exploded causing the driver to lose control and collide with a red truck.

The SUV was “suspected to be traveling beyond the legally prescribed speed limit”, according to officials. No one was charged in the accident.

The Lagos-Ibadan expressway is known as one of Nigeria’s deadliest roads, according to the BBC. The highway has heavy traffic during the holidays as many Nigerians living abroad visit for the festive period.

Joshua is the son of British Nigerian parents. He was born in England but grew up in Nigeria where he attended a boarding school.

He returned to England after his parents divorced.

Joshua is a three-time heavyweight boxing champion who fought in a “rigged” boxing match with YouTuber Jake Paul in Miami on December 19.

Jake, 28, was knocked down during the boxing match. He claimed his jaw was broken in 2 places.

Jake was suspended from boxing for 60 days. The suspension is said to be routine after being knocked out.

Fawn Weaver Reunites with Former Classmate After Publicly Embarrassing Him

Fawn Weaver redeemed herself by reuniting with a former classmate after Instagram users dragged her for humiliating the man in public.

Fawn, CEO of whiskey brand Uncle Nearest, went viral earlier this month after she dissed a former classmate who approached her at a promo event in Atlanta.

“So I’m supposed to remember you?” she asked the man, later identified as E. Jermon Manuel.

She then shouted to the crowd, “OK can I tell y’all that this man just said do you remember me. I said make it make sense to me, because we were in the same class in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades!”

Cell phone video of their interaction went viral and Instagram users dragged Fawn for being cold and heartless.

Fawn made up for her misstep by apologizing in videos on her social media accounts.

She captioned one video:

“I’ve reached out directly to the young man in this video. Friends who were with him have shared publicly that the viral clip is out of context and that he experienced the moment as lighthearted, as I intended. Still, that does not replace hearing it from him personally.

If I hurt or embarrassed him in any way, I apologize without hesitation. Anyone who encounters me should leave feeling encouraged. If they don’t, that responsibility is mine. I take seriously what God has called me to do.”

But the online dragging continued.

On Saturday, December 27, Fawn invited E. Jermon Manuel to the same location in Atlanta where the incident occurred.

They filmed a skit together and E. posed with his female fans.

Fawn captioned the Instagram video: “Same place. Same people. Plot twist.”

A Doctor Reveals the Breakfast Habit That May Help You Live Longer

Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day, but one doctor says eating a healthy breakfast every morning can help you live longer.

Lauren Dal Farra, M.D., recommends eating breakfast that contains protein, healthy fat and fiber, according to Eatingwell.com.

Dr. Dal Farra, a cardiologist, says “A protein-forward breakfast is one of the simplest ways to protect your metabolism and long-term health.”

WENN.com

Protein: You can get your protein from eggs, strained (Greek-style) yogurt, beans, tofu, smoked salmon or even tuna fish or turkey.

Healthy fats: Healthy fats include olive oil, avocado, nuts, nut butter and seeds.

Fiber: Get your fiber from high-fiber breakfast cereals, whole grain toast, oats, chia seeds, fruits and vegetables.

Fiber is important because it adds bulk to your stool to keep you regular. Fiber also makes you feel full until lunch, stabilizes your blood sugar, and improves your gut health.

Whether you eat breakfast or not, you can follow this diet throughout the day for longevity.

“A cornerstone of longevity is stable blood sugar, which will protect your heart and brain health over time,” says Dr. Dal Farra.

Fiber-rich carbohydrates like fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains increases your likelihood of healthy aging and longevity.

Miodrag Ignjatovic / E+

“Breakfast is a key meal that sets the tone for your blood sugar patterns throughout the day,” she continued. Protein and healthy fats are digested slowly, which doesn’t cause a spike in blood sugar followed by a rapid drop.

Protein and healthy fats slows the absorption of sugar from your meal and keeps blood sugar stable throughout the morning.

Eating a lot of carbs and unhealthy fats leads to weight gain, which speeds up cellular aging.

Breakfast Foods to Avoid

Justin Sullivan/Getty Images

Sweetened cereal, white toast, granola bars, and pancakes and waffles with syrup are examples of high-carbohydrate breakfast foods to avoid.

Dr. Dal Farra says refined carbohydrates (or “naked carbs”) lower the odds of healthy aging.

Saturated fat, found in butter, cream cheese, pastries, sausage and bacon, may also speed up cellular aging.

Healthy food that contain monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats (avocados, olive oil, nuts, nut butter, seeds, eggs) may help slow down the aging process in our cells.

Research shows that people who skip breakfast every morning were 17% more likely to develop cardiovascular (heart) disease, including coronary artery disease and stroke, than those who ate a healthy breakfast regularly.

Don’t Forget Your Smoothies

WENN.com

Smoothies are an excellent source of protein, fiber and healthy fats for busy women on the go!

Toss blueberries, raspberries or blackberries, a banana, coconut milk, one raw egg, chia seeds, and kale powder in a blender with ice cubes.

Drink the smoothie on your way to work for a healthy breakfast on the go.

Foods that contain probiotics (live microbes), like yogurt and kefir, may help improve the microbial environment in your gut that slows biological aging.

Rapper Cardi B apparently broke up with NFL star Stefon Diggs before Christmas. She spent the holidays alone with her 4 children: Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, Blossom, 15 months, and Stefon’s son born in November.

Cardi B decorated 4 Christmas trees for each child. She seemed sad spending the holidays alone with her kids.

Stefon made matters worse by sharing Christmas photos of himself with his youngest kids on Instagram. Stefon has three more babies on the way for a total of 8 kids!

Cardi B, 33, was upset that Stefon, 32, spent Christmas with his other kids’ baby mamas and not her.

One of the children Stefon posted on Instagram was his 7-month-old daughter with Instagram model Cay Benji, who is reportedly pregnant with his twins. She also posted a Christmas photo of her daughter.

Additionally, Stefon has a 5-month-old daughter, Charliee, with Aileen, also known as Instagram model “Lord Gisselle”. A court-ordered DNA test confirmed paternity.

Cardi posted (and deleted) a comment on X.com that read: “Seems like the ghetto always finds me… YUCK.”

Is Cardi B calling Stefon “ghetto” for having multiple out-of-wedlock children?

As you know, Stefon was expecting babies with three other women while Cardi was pregnant with his son.

Cardi B left her husband, rapper Offset, to get pregnant by Stefon. Offset has 5 children (including 3 with her).

Cardi already proved she’s comfortable having children with men who have multiple kids.

Stefon is expecting another set of twins with K’yanna “KJ” Barber, best known as “Kiki” from Drake’s hit song “In My Feelings.”

In September, Cardi B said “We’ll figure it out” after news of Stefon’s multiple offspring went viral.

She quoted singer Shirley Brown’s lyrics in her song “Woman to Woman”:

“Hello Shirley, it’s me Barbara… That’s your baby daddy, their baby daddy, my baby daddy too, girl,” Cardi said.

She added: “Well, what now? I don’t f–ing know. We’ll figure it out, b–h.”

Tyler Perry is accused of s*xual assault by an aspiring actor who appeared in “Boo! A Madea Halloween” in 2016.

Mario Rodriguez, who had a minor role in the movie, is suing Tyler for $77 million.

He is also suing Lionsgate, which distributed the movie, alleging that Lionsgate ignored Tyler’s behavior.

Mario is being represented by the same lawyer who represented aspiring actor Derek Dixon in a similar complaint against the filmmaker.

In his lawsuit, obtained by PEOPLE, Mario (pictured) claims Tyler made unwanted s*xual advances that lasted for several years.

Mario claims he was first approached in 2014 by a trainer at an Equinox gym.

In one incident, Mario claims Tyler tried to unbuckle his pants, and in another incident, Tyler allegedly placed Mario’s hand on his genitals.

Mario claims Tyler paid him $5,000 on several occasions following the alleged incidents. Despite these incidents, Mario continued to visit Tyler’s home.

When Tyler found out that Mario planned to file a lawsuit, he contacted the aspiring actor by text message. Tyler allegedly reminded Mario of all he had done to help him and that he felt betrayed.

Mario discussed his allegations in a viral video that was viewed over 1 million times. He didn’t name Tyler, but some people guessed Tyler’s name in the comments.

“I stayed quiet for much too long,” Mario said in the video. “But I’m speaking up now.”

Earlier this year, aspiring actor Derek Dixon, who appeared in “The Oval,” sued Tyler for s*xual assault. He demanded $260 million in punitive damages. However, a California judge granted Tyler’s motion to move the lawsuit to Georgia.

Derek’s lawsuit is expected to be dismissed in Georgia because the statute of limitations has expired.

Mario’s case will likely also be thrown out for filing late.

In a statement to Variety, Tyler’s attorney, Alex Spiro, said, “Having recently failed in another matter against Mr. Perry, the very same lawyer has now made yet another demand from more than a decade ago which will also be a failed money grab.”

Life coach and TV personality Iyanla Vanzant returns to OWN in her new TV series, “Iyanla: The Inside Fix.”

The 72-year-old author is best known as a relationship expert on OWN Network’s “Iyanla: Fix My Life” that ran from June 2, 2012 – May 22, 2021.

In the trailer for “Iyanla: The Inside Fix.”, she discusses how aging and life as a grandmother raising her grandchild changed her perspective from 13 years ago.

“We filmed the very first episode of ‘Fix My Life’ in early 2012 and the world was a very different place then,” Iyanla says. “Prince was still alive, the iPhone 5 was the latest innovation, Instagram had just been born, and Zoom was not yet public. 12 years ago, I could stand up from a chair without sound effects and my great grandson, whom I’m now raising hadn’t even been born.”

Iyanla: Fix My Life
featured the motivational speaker helping people overcome problems of their own making.

Iyanla, who holds a Master’s degree in spiritual psychology, used psychology and psychoanalysis to convince her guests to see their problems from a different perspective.

In one episode dated September 15, 2012, Iyanla traveled to Miami to visit reality TV star Evelyn Lozada (Basketball Wives), who experienced domestic violence at the hands of her then-husband, Chad Ochocinco Johnson.

Iyanla authored 17 books and was the New York Times #1 bestselling author six times.

Merry Chrimmuh: Tip Harris Debuts His Comedy Special, “Cheaper Than Therapy”

Tip Harris, aka “T.I.”, released his first comedy special on Christmas Eve, titled “Cheaper Than Therapy.”

Tip claims he took up comedy because it’s cheaper than therapy.

The “King of the South” is determined to transition from rapping to being an acclaimed stand-up comedian.

In the teaser for his comedy special, Tip wears a red leather suit similar to the iconic red suit worn by Eddie Murphy in his 1983 HBO TV special, “Delirious.”

Tip’s comedy special debuted on December 24 and is available exclusively at TipAintFunny.com.

While some artists flirt with stand-up comedy as a side hustle, Tip takes his comedy foray seriously as a second career.

Comedy fans don’t appreciate his tenacity. They booed Tip at small clubs and he’s been booed at large venues like The Laugh Factory and The Improv. But there are no boo birds in his comedy special.

Someone uploaded Tip’s entire comedy special on a manosphere board on Christmas Day. I won’t post the link here.

In the clip, Tip discussed his family, children, rap career, masculinity, aging, and how he met his lovely wife, Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris.

Being funny is one of the requirements to be a headlining comedy act. Tip knows he’s not funny. That’s why he named his website TipAintFunny.com.

His arrogance served T.I. well as a Gammy-winning rapper, but probably not as a comedian.

Watch the teaser below.
