Tamar Braxton has denied allegations by ex-fiancé David Adefeso that she was the abusive partner in their relationship.

Adefeso, 51, says Tamar, 43, brutally attacked him while he was driving, and nearly caused a traffic accident.

Adefeso filed for a restraining order against the singer after claiming she hauled off and punched him in the neck, which caused him to become disoriented while behind the wheel of his Rolls-Royce.

He claims she began to trash the car, damaging the camera and rearview mirror when he pulled over and parked the vehicle.

In court papers he said he suffered bruising to his neck and shoulder area, but in a clip from Tamar's sit-down interview with Tamron Hall - set to air on Wednesday, Oct. 28, Tamar denied his claims.

"I am a survivor of a domestic violence relationship," she said. "And not at any point (were) David and I in an abusive relationship."

Tamar added that audio and video recordings of the alleged incident in the car exist as she "voice-recorded it" and he "videotaped it" with a camera in his car.

"Does that video or the voice recording show any physical abuse?" Tamron asked.

"No, it doesn't," Tamar replied. "He has the videotape. He has it. It was in his car. Release it."

She became emotional as she continued:

"No, let me tell you something, I loved David. He was my best friend. He was an amazing, amazing partner. He was my son's best friend as well, they were best friends. And it's just so hard because through everything else, I never expected this from him. Now, I have to be real with myself, is he acting like this because he found me the way that he found me? Probably, I don't know."

David Adefeso reportedly wants to be completely edited out of ex-fiancée Tamar Braxton's forthcoming reality TV show Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!

Adefeso filed paperwork in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, seeking legal protection, TMZ reported earlier this week.

According to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, he's also desperately trying to get himself removed from her new TV show, because the editing makes him look bad.

An insider says he "does not want the show to air because he does not want to look bad, and have it affect his financial business".

"There is a scene in the show where David tries to get in between Tamar and... a spiritual adviser," they explain. "David believes the spiritual adviser practices voodoo, and does not believe in her method of spirituality. There's a scene where production wraps, but the audio was still on. You can hear Tamar yell, 'David, stop'."

Another apparent incident occurred last month when David posted a video with Tamar's son Logan Herbert, 7, on a trip to the beach, without her knowledge.

The source went on to insist David - who is the developer of a tuition-savings app - "does not want his business to be harmed".

It's the latest drama in Tamar's personal life, as she continues to recover following a suicide attempt in July. David found the "Love and War" singer unresponsive in their Los Angeles hotel suite after she reportedly ingested a cocktail of prescription drugs and alcohol.

The Braxton Family Values star subsequently blamed WE tv's "toxic" reality TV environment for her mental health struggles, and she publicly praised her man as her "angel" for supporting her through the rough period.

Tamar Braxton's boyfriend rushed to court file for protection against the R&B singer and reality TV star, reports TMZ.com.

David Adefeso filed for a restraining order Tuesday in L.A., accusing Tamar of abusing him in a domestic violence incident, TMZ has learned.

David is asking a judge to grant him a restraining order against Tamar. It's unclear if she attacked him and if he has any injuries.

The court hasn't approved his request just yet -- TMZ reached out to Tamar's team to get more info.

The 43-year-old R&B star was hospitalized in Los Angeles on July 16 after David found her disoriented and lethargic in her hotel suite. She had apparently swallowed a handful of prescription pills.

David told 911 that Tamar was threatening to kill herself. He also mentioned her WE tv beef to cops at the time.

Braxton family sources told TMZ they believe she's changed since hooking up with him -- claiming her mood seems to align with his.

They said David comes off as controlling in Tamar's reality show, and that he's been quite involved in her business decisions of late.

Tamar's new single "Crazy Kind of Love" peaked at #2 on Billboard and Media Base charts. "Crazy Kind of Love", the first single off the soundtrack to the upcoming theatrical release TRUE TO THE GAME 2, is scheduled to be in theaters nationwide late November 2020.

Tamar Braxton's family is wondering why her boyfriend' brought up her beef with WeTV during his 911 call to report her apparent suicide attempt.

The family is alarmed by his negative influence over Tamar's emotions.

Sources connected to the Braxton family tell TMZ, Tamar's boyfriend, David Adefeso, was upset about WeTV's pilot episode and promo trailer that was sent to the blogs late last week for her new reality show, "Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!"

TMZ claims David got angry about the show's content, and how he was portrayed in it -- and his reaction, in turn, made Tamar upset enough to try and take her own life.

TMZ broke the story: when David called 911, he took time to explain Tamar had issues with WeTV that came to a head in the hours leading up to him finding her overdosed on prescription pills in their Ritz Carlton Residences apartment.

TMZ's sources say Tamar's relatives, including her mom, Evelyn (pictured right), find it strange David discussed details of her alleged network beef while she was desperately in need of medical attention. The family believes it is further proof David was the one who really had issues with the show's editorial choices.

Tamar's family noticed a change in her mentally since she started seeing David, according to TMZ's sources, who say Tamar's mood swings tend to align with how David's feeling. They also say he's "very involved" in her business decisions.

As for David's portrayal in the pilot, someone who's seen the episode says David comes off as demanding and controlling.

In the episode, Tamar decides to go on a spiritual healing journey, which includes no sex for 45 days, something that really upsets David.

During one scene, Tamar and David are arguing behind a locked door and Tamar yells, "David, stop!" before producers barge into the room.

"Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!" premieres Thursday, July 30 at 10pm only on WE tv.

Tamar Braxton was rushed to the emergency room late last night after being found "unresponsive" in her hotel room.

In medical terminology, the word "unresponsive" usually means the person is not breathing.

But no sooner did the news break last night, than industry insiders and fans began speculating whether her suicide attempt was a "publicity stunt" to promote her new show.

After days of arguing back and forth, the Senate finally reached a bipartisan agreement on President Donald Trump's $2 trillion economic stimulus package deal early Wednesday.

The bill contains checks ranging from $1,200 to $4,500 for individuals and small business owners. Families will receive an additional $500 for each child.

Checks for $1,200 will be sent directly to taxpayers who earned less than $75,000 a year in 2018.

But before you start spending money you haven't received yet, Tamar Braxton's fiancé, David Adefeso is sharing financial advice on his Instagram account.

The stock market is soaring on the news of the economic stimulus deal. David thinks you should take some of that federal money and invest it for your future.

Small businesses including retailers, restaurants, real estate and personal care professionals, comprise the largest employer pool in the U.S. They are also some of the hardest hit during this shutdown because many haven’t built up enough cash reserves to account for the plunge in revenues they are currently experiencing, with no end in sight. Mass furloughs and layoffs by small businesses could drastically drive up the unemployment rate and cause consumer spending to plunge precipitously, thereby extending the inevitable recession. To make loans cheaper the Federal Reserve reduced interest rates to close to zero and Congress is currently debating measures to aid small businesses, including loan guarantees. For those who need immediate assistance, a growing list of programs exist to help small businesses, including emergency funding from the government, protection from eviction and business loan deferment. The Small Business Administration’s website (www.sba.gov) is a good place to start for information on some of these programs. “Together We Stand; But Divided We Fall”.

Tamar is the youngest of the singing Braxton sisters. Superstar Toni Braxton (pictured) is the eldest sibling at 52. Traci is 48; Towanda is 46, and Trina is 45. No, Trina and Tamar aren't twins; Trina turns 46 in December.

Why do some women lie about their age? They lie for a variety of reasons: insecurity, low self confidence, low self-esteem, middle age crisis, etc.

Most celebrities lie about their age to hang onto their youth a little bit longer. But if you paid attention over the years, Tamar's ex-husband Vincent Herbert tried to tell us she was lying about her age.

Little did I know walking into that busy restaurant nearly two years ago that the course of my life would change so dramatically. From the sun baked streets of Lagos to the white sands of Montego Bay and the bustling city life of suburban Mexico, you have been on a journey with me filled with laughter, tears, hope and never-ending love. Through it all your friendship has been invaluable, your counsel irreplaceable and your love unshakeable. Nothing prepared me for the complete and never-ending joy I experience with you every day. And no matter what crowded clouds appear in the horizon, the sunshine of your smile, the purity of your heart and the kindness of your words never fail to reinforce the strength of the unbreakable bond that is the love we share. You are my heart, you are my joy, you are my future, and you are my friend. Happy birthday, my @tamarbraxton . You are the most beautiful girl in the World, and I can’t wait to see what amazing surprises the next 45 years brings us.

Tamar Braxton is back on the market after dating David Adefeso for 2 years. Friends say the single mother of one was not comfortable playing second fiddle to her African boyfriend's other women.

MTONews confirmed Braxton removed all of Adefeso's pictures from her social media accounts.

After removing the Nigerian's pictures, she wrote "If they don't want you, there is no talking... let it go and let God bring you the one who will be all that you need."

Braxton, 42, transformed herself from a Brazilian weave-wearing socialite to a member of team natural, having shorn her hair off to make a new start after divorcing industry executive Herbert Vincent, the father of her son.

Braxton wrote that her "flaws [are] not her weakness, but the strength and attraction to the one that is meant to be in [her] life."

Adefeso began appearing on the Braxton Family Values reality show on season 6. He planned to appear in the upcoming spin-off, titled Tamar.

Tamar Braxton clarified comments she made about women sleeping with down low men amid public backlash from the LGBT+ community who say the comments were divisive and harmful.

The 42-year-old R&B singer sparked controversy when she issued a "public service announcement" advising women that they may be sleeping with a bisexual man if he shows a lack of interest in her sexually.

"If he lays with you for 3, 4, 10 days and he don't touch u, it's NOT YOU!! HE WANT A MAN!! And that's on my momma."

Many say Tamar is bitter because she has a history of hooking up with suspect men, including her ex-husband Vincent Herbert and boyfriend David Adefeso (pictured).

Tamar clarified her comment saying she was not referring to boyfriend Adefeso.

"Y'all know I'm going live.... If you are in ya bag, ya shouldn't be. I shouldn't have been in My feelings, granted on social media based off a conversation with my friends. I was talking about me but not me and David. I've been through a lot. This is why i stay on my fake page," she tweeted.
