Megan Thee Stallion is inspiring young people to re-enroll in college after she finally completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Administration.

Dr. Monica Rasmus, program director for Texas Southern University's Health Administration program, tells TMZ that one-time dropouts are re-enrolling in her program in droves.

Dr. Rasmus credits the 26-year-old rapper, born Megan Pete, with inspiring the dropouts to re-enroll in her program.

She tells TMZ former TSU students started reaching out to her to discuss returning after Megan went public in 2020 about completing her studies in order to open assisted living facilities.

Dr. Rasmus says TSU undergrads and graduate students began contacting her department out of curiosity, and a genuine desire to pursue a degree in Health Administration.

Megan also helped the program by donating the $25,000 she earned via Fashion Nova, which Dr. Rasmus says went a long way to helping students who can't afford to pay for tuition and books.

Megan graduated summa cum laude last weekend after 8 years as a student at TSU. Her scholastic dream was delayed one year by the pandemic. And she put her books down for several years to tour on the road.

However, walking across the stage to receive her diploma was Megan's biggest accomplishment.

"I know my parents are looking down on me so proud... Thank you everyone for all the love today," she wrote in the caption of her graduation photo.

Jaden Smith will be honored by the University of California, Los Angeles for his environmental activism.

The 22-year-old son of A-list actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith will be named Environmental Champion on October 13 by UCLA's Institute of the Environment and Sustainability.

"The climate challenges we face are too big to leave any ideas unexplored. Supporting the very bright minds at the school tackling the toughest problems with intellect and action is the true honor for me and my nonprofit 501CTHREE," Smith told The Hollywood Reporter, adding that he's "humbled and grateful" to receive the award.

In 2012, the young rapper/actor co-founded the brand Just Water, which uses plant-based packaging and sustainably sourced water. Through his 501CTHREE nonprofit, he has made mobile water-filtration systems available to lower-income minority communities in the U.S, including Flint, Michigan, which has long struggled with lead contamination in its water supply.

In 2019, Jaden Smith opened a vegan food truck to feed healthy, nutritious meals to the homeless in Los Angeles.

Previous recipients of the award include former American Vice President Al Gore and Barbra Streisand.

Van Jones is still sweet on Kim Kardashian - even though she rejected him because she's not completely over her ex-husband, Kanye West.

Kim, 40, is busy preparing for the next chapter in her storybook life after the spotlight fades. She already has a great job reference - from her boss, Van Jones.

Jones gushed that Kim will be an "unbelievable attorney."

Jones made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs on Monday, May 24. Host Ellen was quick to ask how well Kim is doing as an apprentice at Van's non-profit organization Dream Corps JUSTICE.

"She's doing amazing," Jones gushes.

"I think she has used her platform to help people behind bars. Her dad was a lawyer and she always wanted to be a lawyer. Once she got a taste of what she could do using her platform, using her brain, she hasn't let up, so I think she's going to be an unbelievable attorney. She's already I think one of the best advocates that we have in criminal justice."

In an interview with Good Morning Vogue earlier this year, Kim revealed she's already halfway through law school

"I have two years under my belt," she said.

"I actually am not doing an essay and doing this interview instead, so I'm gonna have to get up really early tomorrow to write, like, a two-hour essay..."

The single mom-of-four was forced to cut back on her legal lessons last year, due to Covid, which she described as a "forced halt." She added she had no intention of slowing down.

"Even the work schedule, I would have worked non-stop and I would've done anything and everything at all hours and never taken into consideration just slowing down at all. This was a forced halt."

Gov Cuomo

New York is the latest state to offer free college tuition for its residents -- but there's a catch. Students must remain in the state after graduation or pay the tuition back as a loan.

Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo, who announced the benefit on Monday, said the rule was necessary to prevent students from taking advantage of the freebie and leaving the state.

Study Finds More Women Are Marrying Dumb Men A new study finds that more women are marrying dumber men than men are marrying dumber women.

The roles have reversed in the past 4 or 5 decades when men preferred the dumb blond stay-at-home mom types who didn't question a man's authority as king of his castle.

But times have changed and now men are stay-at-home mom types and women are kings of their castles.

These are the best of times for shiftless, lazy, girlie men who weren't raised with a strong father figure who taught them how to be men.

They were raised mainly by man-hating women who transferred their hate onto their sons.

President Obama at Morehouse College

President Barack Obama was in town on Sunday to deliver the commencement address at Morehouse, the historically black, all-male college in Atlanta.

Mr. Obama was his usual, arrogant, cocky self as he delivered the Commencement Address. Obama received a polite smattering of applause when he told the graduates that they can no longer use the color of their skin as an excuse for making bad decisions.

Without elaborating, Mr. Obama said men in the black community continue to make bad choices. Obama, who is biracial, said he, too wrote off his failings as just another example of the world trying to keep a black man down. "Excuses are tools of the incompetent used to bridge bridges to nowhere and monuments of nothingness," he said to another smattering of polite applause.
