Some of us are still reeling from the images of school children killing one of their own in Chicago last week. 16-year-old Derrion Albert died from brain injuries caused by blunt force trauma to the head after being jumped by other students from his high school. Contrary to numerous erroneous media reports, there was no gang activity involved.
The confusion stems from civilized adults trying to make sense of uncivilized behavior.
There's a classic book written in the 1950's called "Lord of the Flies" about a group of British boys stranded on a deserted island in the Atlantic ocean following a plane crash. The adults didn't survive the crash so the children were left to govern themselves. Eventually, in the absence of adult supervision and with no social rules to conform to, they turn on each other like savages.
In this video found on What About Our Daughter's blog, Central City High School Principal Ras Baraka tried to make sense of an off-campus shooting involving a high school student from his Newark, New Jersey school.
"This is not normal!," he tells an audience of the injured student's peers.
"You're living this life like it's normal. This is abnormal to talk about your friends dying, to not be able to walk home safely from school... this is not normal to be wearing t-shirts that say 'Rest in Peace', to be writing 'Rest in Peace' on the wall. This is not normal! Nobody else's children do this!
Sadly, he's right. Only in the black community are our children killing each other off at alarming rates. What's wrong with our people?
At the end of the book "Lord of the Flies," the children who have already killed two of their own, are in the process of killing a third boy when a naval officer lands on the island, interrupting them. The naval officer's ship was attracted to the island by a fire the kids had set.
The officer expressed surprise at the children's behavior, telling them he expected better from them. The officer who was unaware of the two murdered boys assumed the children were playing a game.
His confusion stemmed from a civilized mind trying to make sense of uncivilized behavior.
Remember John Holdren, the Harvard professor appointed by Barack Obama to be his "science adviser"? I told you earlier about his book Ecoscience that advocates population control and forced abortions. Well, it turns out Holdren has even more radical views on life than I originally thought.
In 1973, Holdren wrote another book called “Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions” in which he says newborn babies, if given the right "social experiences" after birth, "will ultimately develop into a human being." I had to stop typing long enough to laugh out loud! THIS is the guy that Obama wants advising him on science when he doesn't even know when human life begins?
Are all Harvard professors kooky like Holdren and Skip Gates? Unlike Skip Gates, Holdren is now in control of this country's science policies!
The more I read about this nut job Holdren, the more he begins to sound like Hitler, who also didn't think a segment of society was human and set about solving his "social problems" by building concentration camps.
Yesterday, loyal reader pointhimout left this comment under one of my Obama posts:
My understanding is the underlying purpose of this obamacare is population control.
She's right, and that means she's doing her research (unlike you Kool Aide drinkers). It's right there in the 1,000 page House version of the Health Care Reform bill. Obamacare bureaucrats will make sound medical decisions for all Americans -- not medical personnel, but government bureaucrats.
Someone once said: The true measure of a man can be found by who they associate themselves with.
John Holdren, Barack Obama's "Science Czar" co-wrote a book about 30 years ago advocating forced abortions and mass sterilizations as a form of population control. The book is called Ecoscience and you can find it on Amazon.com. This guy Holdren is one of the bureaucrats who will make medical decisions for us if ObamaCare passes.
Contained within the book Ecoscience are numerous radical references to population control:
Forcibly and unknowingly sterilizing the entire population by adding infertility drugs to the nation’s water and food supply.
Forcibly removing babies from "undesirables" and putting them up for adoption
Legalizing “compulsory abortions,” ie forced abortions carried out against the will of the pregnant women, as is already common place in Communist China
Permanently sterilizing people who the authorities deem have already had too many children or who have contributed to “general social deterioration”. (that would be YOU hoodrats)
And here's a direct quote form the book:
“Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society.”
Once the blogs got hold of Holdren's book, the White House immediately released a statement from Holdren denying that he still embraces those ideals.
Do you believe Holdren and the White House denials? These are the facts: Holdren co-wrote the book Ecoscience. He studied the practice of Eugenics (improving the population through controlled breeding). You can find Ecoscienceon Amazon.com.
Do you really believe that Holdren no longer embraces those population control ideals because he now works for the Obama administration?
Please take the time to read the health care reform bill for yourself before Obama rams it through Congress.
