In addition to being an adulterer and a cheat, NFL legend Steve McNair was also lax in his responsibilities to his family. The 37-year-old former Titans quarterback obviously thought he was immortal so he didn't bother to prepare a will.

According to the AP, his widow Mechelle, in court documents revealed McNair didn't leave a will before being gunned down by his jumpoff two weeks ago.

A Nashville judge made Mechelle the administrator of McNair's estate -- ensuring that she and the two sons she bore McNair are well taken care of.

But where does that leave his other two sons by a previous relationship? And what about family members such as his distraught mother, Lucille? What if she didn't get along with her daughter-in-law? Is she out in the cold?

Instead of chasing tail, maybe McNair should have been handling his business.

A word of caution to all married (and unmarried but attached) men who can't resist the urge to step outside of your relationships: Don't sleep.

Back in the day, when the black community still had values and high morals, men would still creep. But it was understood that a man never went to sleep with a jumpoff in his hotel room.

The true playa's motto was: hit it then quit it. They never let their emotions get involved because they valued what they had at home.

About 6 years ago, I received a letter from a reader. Inside the letter was a photo of an industry baller sound asleep in what looked like a hotel room. In his open hand lay a sex toy.

The letter author was, of course, a pissed jumpoff. In her lengthy letter she asked me to put him on blast by posting the letter and photo on my website. I declined her request due to the fact that I knew him and he was a genuinely nice guy.

But being a genuinely nice guy didn't save NFL baller Steve McNair from the wrath of his 20-year-old jumpoff, Sahel Kazemi.

McNair, 36, met the then 19-year-old Kazemi six months ago at a Nashville Dave & Busters where the McNair family often ate. The two exchanged numbers and Kazemi became just another notch in the notorious playboy's belt.

Kazemi, who police say was spiraling out of control in the last week of her life, confided in a co-worker that she wanted to end it all.

A medical examiner's findings ends the rampant speculating on whether or not NFL legend Steve McNair's jumpoff shot him multiple times before turning the gun on herself:

From TMZ.com:

We just spoke with Tennessee assistant medical examiner Dr. Feng Li, who tells us preliminary test results in the Steve McNair death show Sahel Kazemi fired the gun that killed both of them.

Feng -- who conducted autopsies on the two bodies -- told us he was able to make the determination from the crime scene investigation, police interviews, autopsy findings and preliminary lab results -- which include gun shot residue test.

Friends say McNair's wife, Mechelle McNair, had no prior knowledge of her husband's 6-month affair with the 20-year-old waitress whom he met last year.

Robert Gaddy, a close friend of McNair's who phoned 911 from the death scene, denied McNair and his wife Mechelle were divorcing:

"People need to quit talking about what they don't know. Mac never said anything to me about he was going to get a divorce, and ever since this has all happened everybody is trying to paint a certain picture and they need to talk about what they know."
