Rapper Common and actress Tiffany Haddish have split again a year after they broke up due to emotional issues.
Apparently, their careers kept them apart and affected their Dopamine levels.
A source tells PEOPLE, "They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship."

Sandrarose.com was among the first blogs to break the news in 2019 that Tiffany and Common were a couple.
Common and Tiffany made their first public appearance in January 2020 after months of speculation that they were dating.
In August 2020, Tiffany, 41, confirmed their relationship while on Steve-O's podcast Steve-O's Wild Ride.
"I am in a relationship," said Tiffany, who shaved her head at the time.
"Yeah, we're twins now," she joked.
Tiffany and Common, 49, have histories of failed relationships and both have been open about their emotional and psychological issues.
Common previously sought counseling with unlicensed therapist Michelle Obama.
This is the third time they've split up.
The rapper broke up with CNN political analyst Angela Rye before dating Tiffany.

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are back on the market, months after he confessed he yells at the submissive singer.
Shawn and Camila announced their split on Wednesday after two and a half years together, according to Yahoo! News.
The couple split just months after he confessed he was verbally abusive to his submissive girlfriend.
In June, the 23-year-old pop singer said he hates to yell at Camila because she "shrinks" whenever he raises his voice.
The Canadian star said he often checks himself when he and the 24-year-old Cuban singer have a disagreement, and he hates the way he makes her feel.
"I raised my voice at her and she was like, 'I don't like it when you raise your voice. Why did you raise your voice?'" he told the Man Enough podcast.
In a joint statement on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the ex-couple said they will remain "best friends."
Gigi Hadid is back on the market after breaking up with Zayn Malik amid a report that he struck her mom.
The 26-year-old supermodel, who shares 1-year-old daughter, Khai, with the former One Direction singer, broke up with him after her mom, Yolanda Hadid, claims he struck her during a dispute.
Gigi released a statement to E! News, saying that she is focused on what's best for her daughter, Khai.
A source tells ET Online that the couple broke up before the incident with Yolanda.
"Gigi and Zayn broke up before the incident with Yolanda. The two have been co-parenting but they are not together. They tried to make things work for their daughter, but it wasn't working out."
Zayn, 28, responded to the allegation in a statement to TMZ on Thursday.
"I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid. For the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details."
However, Zayn did give a few more details in a post on Twitter.com.
He admitted there was an "argument" between him and a family member of Gigi's a few weeks ago.
He said the dispute was "leaked" to the media, and he agreed "not to contest claims arising from the argument".

"As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private place for my daughter to grow up in," he wrote.
"A place where private family matters aren't thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart. In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago."

His tweet continued:
"This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been 'leaked' to the press. I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly, I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves."

Kanye West and Irina Shayk have gone their separate ways after dating for several months, according to sources.
The rap mogul and the Russian model sparked romance rumors last month, when they were seen at a hotel in France for his 44th birthday.

Kanye apparently invited Irina to go to Paris with him for an upcoming couture fashion show but she declined.
"She likes him as a friend, but doesn't want a relationship with him," a source told the New York Post's Page Six.
"She doesn't want the association that they are dating, which is what would have run in the press if she showed up (in Paris with him). It would have been another month of news saying that they are dating. She doesn't want to be linked with anyone right now. She is happy being single."
Kanye and Irina's relationship caused a media frenzy that fizzled after 48 hours.
The mega producer is reportedly upset that the tabloids and the public lost interest in them as a couple.
Russia's first Sports Illustrated cover beauty appeared in his 2010 music video for "Power", and previously modeled for his Yeezy fashion line. He also gave her a shout-out in his "Christian Dior Denim Flow" track over a decade ago.

Irina shares a daughter with American actor Bradley Cooper. She previously dated Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

It's not clear if Greene asked for spousal support or if they had a prenup.
The 45-year-old rapper is best known as one half of the duo Black Star with fellow Brooklyn rapper Mos Def.
Kweli's 2007 solo album Eardrum peaked at the #2 position on the Billboard 200 chart and featured collaborations with will.i.am, Kanye West, Just Blaze, and Pharrell Williams. The album spawned the hit single "Listen!!!"
The divorce action comes after Kweli was kicked off Twitter for harassing women in August 2020.
Twitter cited the rapper for "repeated violations" (such as) violence, harassment and other similar types of behavior (that) discourage people from expressing themselves".
