But now comes word that Thandie is in a May-December romance with Lonr, who is just 2 years older than her eldest daughter, Ripley.

Lonr didn't deny the rumors in a statement to the NY Post.

"From the relatively short time I've been fortunate to spend with her, I know Thandiwe and Oliver care deeply about the welfare of their children," he told The Post. "That's all I care about right now."

Lonr's song with singer Amber Mark, "Save My Love," appears on the soundtrack for Thandie's 2021 film "Reminiscence."

Thandiwe "Thandie" Newton is heading to a rehab facility after splitting from her husband of 24 years, Ol Parker, according to Page Six.

The news comes days after reports that Newton, 49, was fired following a loud argument with actor Channing Tatum on the set of Magic Mike 3 in West London.

Sources tell Page Six the British actress was "ranting and raving" on the set before her confrontation with Tatum over Will Smith assaulting Chris Rock at the Oscars on March 27.

Sources described Newton as "acting strange on set", "always ranting and raving", and being "very highly strung" prior to her on-set meltdown.

Tatum, 41, reportedly drove away in a car after his intense argument with Newton. He then told the director he would not work with her anymore. She was reportedly fired and replaced with Mexican actress Salma Hayek, 55.

"There is a lot going on in her personal life, she and her husband have separated," said a source, referring to Newton and Parker. "She seemed so stressed she even brought her two pet rabbits to her hotel for emotional support."

Newton and Parker have three children: daughters Ripley, 21, and Nico, 18, and son Booker Jombe, 8.

Actress Thandie Newton denies reports that Channing Tatum fired her from his movie "Magic Mike's Last Dance" following a loud argument over Will Smith's Oscars slap.

Smith, 53, slapped Chris Rock in front of millions on live TV after the 57-year-old comedian joked about Jada Pinkett Smith's hair loss on March 27.

A source on the "Magic Mike" set in West London told The Sun that the screaming match between Newton, 49, and Tatum, 41, escalated to such "astonishing" and "unimaginably vicious" levels that Tatum stormed off the set and drove off in a car.

Tatum reportedly sent word back to the set that he would not continue working with Newton.

"Channing Tatum is the producer and number one on set," the source said. "Thandie Newton is the number two star. But 11 days into shooting and it's all over."

Steven Soderbergh, director of the HBO Max movie, tried to bring peace to the set, but Tatum was adamant that he wanted Newton gone, the source told the British tabloid.

"He was trying to calm things down but he's a very quiet man... They fell out over the debacle at the Oscars. I was on set. I watched her and watched him. They were in and out of the house where we were filming having this confrontation.

"It was a tense exchange of words, but suddenly it escalated. Channing got into this car and he disappeared," the source said, adding that Newton acted like a "diva" on the set before the argument.

However, Newton's rep said she wasn't fired from the movie — she quit to deal with personal matters.

"Thandiwe Newton has made the difficult decision to step away from the production of Warner Bros. Pictures' Magic Mike's Last Dance to deal with family matters," the statement to Variety read.

"Magic Mike's Last Dance" is the third installment of the Magic Mike male stripper film franchise. The first 2 films grossed nearly $300 million worldwide the NY Post reports.

Actress Thandie Newton broke down in tears while discussing the privilege and advantages she has over darker skinned actresses in Hollywood.

"I've wanted so desperately to apologize every day to darker skinned actresses, to say I'm sorry that I'm the one chosen," she said.

She said her "internalized prejudice" convinced her that she could play a dark-skinned woman on the big screen.

"I just thank God that my light skin didn't stop that from happening. I'm so, you know, that it didn't cause more pain," she said, while choking back tears.

She added:

"My mama looks like you. It's been very painful to have women that look like my mum feel like I'm not representing them; that I'm taking from them — taking their men, taking their worth, taking their truth... We matter. I was worried about my light-skinnedness, because my light-skinnedness has been more problematic than being Black in my life, literally."

She continued: "I was BLACK in England — I mean dark-skinned. So then I went to America and I would describe myself as dark-skinned."

Thandie was surprised when Black Americans told her she was light-skinned, not Black.

"And suddenly I was someone that, you know, 'F**k you for being light-skinned.' I got more prejudice from Black people. I didn't understand. I literally didn't understand. I thought you're my brethren? What's happening?"

Nia Long confirmed Thandie Newton's claims that she was discriminated against during her audition for Charlie's Angels in 2000.

The 49-year-old actress told Insider she auditioned for the same role of Alex Munday for the movie, which ultimately went to Lucy Liu, opposite Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore.

According to Nia, after the audition, her agent notified her that she wasn't picked for the part because she "looked too old" to star alongside Drew - despite them only being four years apart.

"I was like, 'What?'" she said. "I love Drew Barrymore, I think she's amazing, but I think that was just a nice way to say you're a little too Black. Personally, that's what I think. Because if you notice there were no brown skin (actors in the movie). I mean, honestly, I would have been the blackest thing in the film."

The mom-of-2 explained that, "the feedback that I received from my agent was, [Nia] just looked too old and sophisticated to be next to Drew Barrymore,' and I'm thinking to myself, it's an actor's choice to walk in the room how they want to look, but it's a director's vision to help create and curate a character."

Nia said she she dressed conservatively in a blazer, button down blouse and jeans for her audition.

"So if you couldn't see beyond the fact that I had on a blazer and a pair of jeans then that was clearly not the job and opportunity for me. So, no problem, I'll keep it moving."

Earlier this month, Thandie revealed she turned down the role due to her negative experience with director Joseph McGinty Nichol, known professionally as McG, during the audition process - which led to her believing she would be objectified.
