Video: Rihanna & Klaxons performing ‘Umbrella’ on BRIT Awards

Rihanna teamed up with British rock band the Klaxons for a rock ‘n roll rendition of her hit “Umbrella” during the BRIT Awards yesterday. The response was so overwhelming that Ri Ri plans to release the performance as a single.

LoL…it’s not that I don’t like the rock element of the song. I actually liked some of those Linkin Park/ Jay-z songs. I just can’t get into Rihanna’s singing. The only good thing I can say good about her singing is that she’s better than Cassie and that aint sayin much at all. I long for the days when singers can sing again. It’s too much of these fake studio singers now and then they have nerve enough to sing live.

I actually enjoyed her performance; it was different. If she was singing live, she has already grown a little. Given more time to grow, she might just have a nice little voice.
