Video: Phatfffat declares war on Sandrarose.com
Earlier today, I posted a YouTube video of a promising young talent on the rise in the ATL by the name of Phatfffat, real name Dondria Nicole. I first heard about her through a friend over at Empire Ent. who told me that Jermaine Dupri had signed a female singer who was Tha Truth.
I wrote a very nice compliment about Phatfffat in my earlier post. But as I type this, Phatfffat is mobilizing her army of fans and is declaring war against us. Go figure *shrugs*
Will Phatfffat be able to handle the criticism later on in her career when the big time music critics give their unbiased opinions of her? I doubt it if she’s crumbling under the pressure now.

ummm..welll last time I checked registration was closed so how are they going to comment? The sista is talented she should just brush off anything negative..this is the tip of the iceberg and if she’s catching feelings over what people say on a blog, then this may not be the right career move..
She’s pretty for her name. She’s seems sincere so hopefully JD will tell her to take these things with a grain of salt.
Welp … I’m not even intrested in supporting anything she’s putting out …

I’m not sure if this is merely a publicity stunt or not but this chick is childish as hell! “defend me” LMMFAO! It’s obvious she was coerced into doing this so who’s the culprit? I this what R&B’s come to? She hadn’t even dropped a record yet and she’s already trash to me for this lame act of desperation and attention seeking. Her publicist should be slapped and fired for this. SMH and LMAO!

Yeah, criticism is what it is and it’s going to come from all directions, sweetie. Just be you and do what you do - stop worrying about what people think.
And I’ve seen more childish acts from artists who are one-hit wonders and think they are the second coming of Whitney - she’s young, she’ll learn.

I’m not to sure if she can handle the business if she can’t handle a small amount of negative comments come on. I know most of us have dealt with people saying worse things.
Also she needs to write down what she is going to say so she doesn’t look stupid trying to express herself and her feelings.
This is the most repetitive and annoying video I’ve ever seen. She had absolutely nothing to say for 3 minutes but repeat herself a million times about how ppl were being mean. And so I went back to the original post and I don’t see who was being mean. People are harsher on this site to the likes of Rihanna and Beyonce than to her…so I don’t really see what the big deal is.
So also in comment to her actual talent. I think she can sing. I like her, I think she’s a beautiful girl…really nice voice and I think she could go far but not with that name. She needs to change the name and keep it simple and not silly and she will reach far.

Who is coaching these people now??? First off, If I am an artist why would I give a damn what anybody has to say about me on a damn website? These bloggers are an opinion of a person and opinions are like assholes everyone has one. This is an occupational hazard in the entertainment business, if you don’t have thick skin, than you need to leave the business immediately. Also, I was taught that if you don’t have “haters” you are not doing your job because if no one has anything to say about you, you are not making an impact. Also these people are suppose be your fuel to strive and get better.
Critics don’t mean anything what qualifies them to talk about someones trade. If you haven’t actually been a part, your opinion doesn’t matter in my opinion. It is almost like a broke person telling another broke person how to get rich.
I don’t know what the f&*k is going on with urban entertainment or entertainment period but it damn sure has me about to quit my job and become a dog trainer because there is more reward in it. Is there anybody in the music business that had professional musical training, knows how to play an instrument not just press start/stop. I use to collect cd’s now I just use them as coasters.

Come on this is JD this has his name on it. She has really in a non-professional manner crapped JD’s stamp of approval. I’m just wondering out of all the great singers I have seen on You Tube, why JD picked this one. She a pretty good singer (if she can remeber the words of her song) from what I’ve heard so far. I do think she’s as ghetto as all get out, and JD needs to HURRY and get her a stylist, because her hair hasn’t been right on a single video.
Anyway, I’m happy for any new talent that comes on the scene I’m sick to death of what’s out now. The same people have been in the game for the last 8 or 9 years and it’s time for a change.
I actually thought the video was genuine until I saw the commentary clips at the bottom of the video. Newbies aren’t getting in on this site anyway so the whole video was pointless.

the video is very immature. it’s best when people say anything about you to just shut the f*ck up. especially since you are not even a “E” list artist yet….and the comments weren’t negative at all. if some were then that’s life get used to it. if that was enough for her to put out a you tube video she’s not ready for the business. she can take a few lessons from ci-ci.

Poor thing. She’s young and immature. I wish she would have gotten better advice before she posted this though. The girl can sing, she is a cutie, seems to have a pure heart, and was chosen to do this and that should be enough. The greats and the non greats got haters…and at times it keeps you going. Lay off of the sensitivity a little doll because it comes with the game. And i went back to read the comments…not so bad. She should read some of the other stuff people write. I pray she gets a tough skin and ignores the ignorant stuff she hears and if she can’t ignore, lets such things impower her. girl sit down. she gotta know that everybody aint gone like her, no matter what. when i get criticism, i learn from it. some may be true, some may not be true. i always say just because you dont agree with what the criticism is, doesn’t mean it’s not true. so whatever was said, look at it, take from it, move on.

Well Miss. Dondria if you think that those comments (that weren’t harsh at all) were harsh, you may want to rethink being in this type of business. This is only the beginning of what you will have to endure but unfortunately that’s the price you have to pay for fame. If your passion is singing, give it your best and that’s all you can give; Yes you want to please people, especially your fans but you can’t please everyone and you shouldn’t try nor want to. Oh and please change your name!
Yeah Sandra will be getting more hits but a lot of people read Sandra’s site that don’t and/or can’t comment, so I’m pretty sure Dondria is getting just as much exposure, if not more than Sandra is. (sp)
Not feeling all the Lip smacking while she talked in the video - HOWEVER my only advise to Phatfffat is people can be cruel or simply opinionated for no damn reason and without getting to know a person. In life, you have to get tough coz it only gets tougher - ESPECIALLY the industry she wants to get into!
Dang, I hate when a post I didn’t care enough about to read turns into something and I gotta go back. Anyway, this is just publicity for Sandra’s site and Dondria (later for phatfat). The vast majority of the comments were not negative.
Let me first say she is adorable and very well spoken and I love that. Unfortunately when I went to YouTube the first video I clicked was with her and Corey. Don’t get me wrong she has a lovely voice, but she ain’t got nothing on him vocally. If I had my way JD would put them out as a duo. They have mad chemistry and are so cute together. Is Corey signed?
Uh oh. I just read all the comments and it looks like the publicity stunt backfired. While the comments on the original post were mostly positive, this one is totally negative.
I think people have missed the point of her video. Because the original post was supportive of her and she shouted out Sandra about 1000 times it’s obvious this was a stunt to draw people to Sandra’s site. I hate to see people turning against her because they took this video seriously.
Okay..The posts made were mostly positive so I don’t understand the “They are being mean.” In the business of entertainment or any profession that exposes you to the public.. You’re going to have people saying negative & positive things. You have to let the negative roll off your shoulders and pay it no attention or if you choose to listen to it..turn it into motivation. Besides, it’s a blog.

Okay…..I have been registered for a while and don’t really post comments. But I have to admit that I have seen Dondria on you tube quite a bit and she has a beautiful voice. I have been a supporter of hers for a while. She is young and new to the industry and excited about the signing and just a little sensitive right now. The comments were not as negative as they are now but through time and experience she will learn to look past this and shine through her music. So blame the sensitivity on the lack of experience and give her a break.

Her mannerisms on tape (the licking of the lips, the head movements, the pushing back of hair that isn’t in her face and unnecessary repeating etcetera) remind me of Karrine Steffans BS video blogs. I’m not being mean, I’m just stating an observation.

ok im pissed i didnt see the video, but ne way i was one of the ones who said i wasnt purchasing her music because ive heard better on youtube and i even put the girl name on here who IMO SOUNDS WAY BETTER THAN phatfffat, its my OPINION. oh well she better get used to the harsh reality of the music biz. if she cnt survive this she cnt handle the other stuff that comes her way.
